Needed a pedicure. The lady doing my nails kept disappearing though which I couldn't understand but it was making the pedicure take much longer when I was on a time crunch. I finally noticed she was doing someone ELSE's nails several seats down and was going back and forth. The pedicure was relaxing, but unfortunately the paint job was subpar due to a big smudge on my big toe. It wasn't noticeable at first, so I didn't speak up. So this was my first time here and upon a friend's recommendation, who is a regular there, we went. I really liked the dip manicure I did with Quinn as she was very sweet and did a great job. The cost for that was $45. The pedicure however was done by B, also a very sweet lady, but my toe was bleeding and in pain after she chipped away too aggressively on my cuticle. I just hope I don't get any infection! The pedicure alone was $37 (overpriced in my opinion). I made the mistake of not grabbing the technicians name who did my deluxe pedicure, but she had long hair, glasses and an adorable daisy print top. She. Was. Phenomenal. You could tell she has been doing this for quite some time and did an amazing job. I've only had a handful of pedicures in my life, but this was by far the best experience I've ever had with one. My feet were killing me and I decided to opt for a pedi instead of going to a foot spa, and I am so happy with my decision! The color was beautiful, the foot massage was thorough and really made a huge difference! I can not recommend this place enough! And only $47 for the whole thing made it seem like a steal! I used to come here many years ago. 2010 to be exact. I moved up north so I stopped. But recently started looking for a new place again so my girlfriend and I decided to meander back south to Kirkland and try it again. First time, we went in for a pedicure. Seemed like they hadn't changed much, and Be - the owner - did mine. (She used to do my nails back in 2010 so it was nice to see her again). I was letting my acrylics grow out and when I was ready to have a new set put back on, I'd have her do them again - as she did MANY times before. I came back again for another pedicure. This time I'd stubbed my toe really badly and it was significantly bruised. I made the appointment with Be, but they put me with someone else who was clearly not very well versed with a bruised toe. I told them, "don't touch this toe". While Be stood and watched, the lady removed my polish and - no joke - GRABBED my injured toe while I yelped. Be told me, "just tell her 'that hurts'". Excuse me? You mean the dark purple and massive swelling isn't indicative enough to not touch the toe? I know, you readers might be asking yourselves, "why even go??" I'm not the type of person to no shows or cancels within 24 hours of an appointment. I stupidly thought telling them "do not touch" or the sheer fact that the toe was obviously injured would tell them not to touch the toe would have told them, NOT to touch the toe. At any rate, I also didn't get the appointment with the person I made the appointment with so, now I'm wondering if they even respect the same unwritten rules as I do. "You know how to TAKE the reservation. You just don't know how to HOLD the reservation..." Sound familiar? Just wait... So, I decide to make one last appointment, which was made long before this debacle of a bruised and abused toe appointment was made, to get my new full set and another pedicure, with my girlfriend. I arrive, sit down with Be. She begins to do my nails, "Oh, yes, I remember you... how have you been?" We chit chat, then I tell her how I like my tips, which for the record, hasn't changed in over 20 years. She tells me her husband does a better job and I need to move over to another chair. What? So, I move over. Another woman comes in, talking about, "there aren't enough hours in the day..." They begin their banter, her husband comes in, starts my nails, does exactly what I DON'T want him to do after I explain what I want him to do (they ended up looking terrible) and when my girlfriend shows up 45 minutes later, when they told her to show up because my nails would be "finished by then"... (laughable) they put us both in the back in chairs, where we sit for 30 minutes PAST our pedicure appt, my nails have set and haven't even been filed, someone sits down and does our pedicure and I'm steaming because now it's almost an hour after my nails should have been finished and we were just shuffled to the back because her husband had an appointment as well. Oh, and I had a coffee in a cup that some klutz decided he wanted to knock over into my pedicure sink, all over my legs while he was taking something out of the steamer (or whatever it was...) So, to sum it up: - I make an appt for a full set and pedicure, I get pushed aside because her "regular" comes in and someone else does my nails because "she doesn't know how to do what I'm asking" even though she went on and on about how she remembers me and she used to DO my nails the EXACT way I wanted to have them done. Either she's lying or he is - his appt comes in so now I, the one who had the first appt of the day, gets stuffed in the back to sit while I wait and get my hot coffee dumped on me by some random employee who wasn't looking where he was going - although the pedicure went well, my nails were never finished - I speak vietnamese. And only when they found out I do, did the husband come to apologise about the timing on everything. Little did they know I heard - and understood exactly what had happened - The husband was rough, not accepting the fact that my wrists do not bend the way he wanted them to bend to make things more comfortable for him. he kept trying to adjust my wrists and arms to accommodate him. Never once considering that my wrists and arms dont bend that way Save your money and your time. Go somewhere else. I don't know what constitutes a "regular" in this place, but the bias runs deep. if you're not one of them, you'll be shuffled around and treated like crap without a second thought. My fingers are so sore that I can barely type but basically, I don't know if she was in a rush or what but she made me bleed on five different fingers, despite me telling her that she was cutting me and despite me continuously pulling my fingers back.She also kept filing my nails but missing and filing my skin. I came here on a Sunday and it was packed! It's a very clean nail salon and I came with my boyfriend for pedicures. The owner was doing the pedicure for my boyfriend but I had a young women who was doing mine. I couldn't tell if she was new because the owner was keeping a close eye on her as she was painting my toes. Either way, she didn't do a good job. The paint was uneven and when she dried my toes the paint chipped. I didn't have the heart to tell her but fair warning make sure you maybe request the owner or a more experienced nail tech. Again this place was very clean and the massage chairs were amazing so I'll come back but I'll request someone else. read more

I stopped in today for leg wax. I was greeted with confidence about the service I was requesting (full leg wax). The young lady was very cordial and lovely. The room the service was delivered was not very clean. There was wax clumps all over the floor. The rug under the waxing table was extremely soles/dirty. The young lady waxing my legs was not very skilled, despite best intentions left my skin fairy tender. I had to ask/prompt her several times which direction/angle she should be pulling off the fabric. This was my first time to BB Nails salon and they have a very friendly staff. However, the lady doing my nails seemed confused about the process for dip powder nails. She kept asking the worker next to her if she was doing it correctly. They turned out pretty clean, but it was a lot darker than the color I picked out. Also, THEY DID NOT LAST!! Whenever I get dip nails, they typically last for about 3 weeks, but these lasted a mere 8 days. I didn't even get extensions for the dip nails and the total was $35. Not worth it. read more

Me and my friend did our nails together, both of our nails color are off. It looks way different than the sample board. My friend's hand got cut and bleed... The service there was pretty good and they are nice. But the technical skill needs to improve a bit. I highly doubt that they put the base coat wrong, so that the cat eye doesn't show as well as they displayed, and the color turned out at last was too light. I had a very odd customer experience with this shop. The nail job was good, but I didn't feel welcomed from the moment I entered the shop. First of all, I'm a first time client. And I'm Asian. Except for the lady who actually did my nails, I felt (especially the man who seems to be the owner/manager) they were treating me with cold shoulders, unlike the other Caucasian customers. No one chatted with me or even asked "how are you today?" They would sweet talk to the other ladies, joke and laugh with them. I'm just sat alone with no one approaching me. Is this reverse racism? I decided to give this place a chance as my normal nail tech is well over an hour away. I normally get dip done and every time I've gotten it done they just take off the old dip and read it and dips it. I went for a pedicure and dip now seeing that there was dip with tip and regular dip I thought that it would be the same as the other salons that I've gone to where they take the old dip off and just dip again. Boy was I wrong I was there with a friend, not paying attention to what the girl was doing, and by the time I realize what she was doing, it was too late. She had cut my nails, my natural nails so far back that it actually caused me to bleed under two of my nails. I had no other choice than to let her cut the rest of my nails off and takeoff the old dip this was so painful as the skin was broken. I was then passed around to three different techs to finally get my nails done. Of which the third tech who finally finished off my nails broke skin at my cuticle on three of my different nails and each time I said ouch he just looked at me and said oh sorry and kept going. The Pedicure is the only redeeming quality of the entire service. It was relaxing and nice to have them done. read more

Been here several times over the past 5 years. The owner takes a lot of pride in his business and does a good job, I respect that. The last few times I've come in however, I've not had the best experience. Typically when I walk in, everyone is on their phone or iPad and hardly acknowledge you. I had a shellac mani/pedi done by the younger kids that work there. After putting my right hand shellac on I realized it was all clumpy. The young man was very nice and removed all of that hand and re did it. My toes turned out a little better than my fingers, but still was a quick job. Yesterday I did manicure and pedicure in that salon. It was my first time to get my feet there, but I didn't like them. I had to come back today to complain because my paint was damaged. The pedicure was horrible, they didn't remove my dead skin. They charged me $ 35 for a very bad pedicure. From the hands I paid 40 for doing something that I have always paid in that place 35 and when I went to complain that they would fix the disaster that had made me on my feet the attitude was bad-tempered and very bad service to the client. I think that if they charge expensive, they should be better off service and have a good customer service. read more
