I was really disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. I came in for both a manicure and a pedicure, and the final result was far from what I expected. The work felt rushed and sloppy, with several basic steps clearly skipped. The finish was uneven and lacked attention to detail, which is unacceptable given the prices they charge. What bothered me the most was the hygiene. The tools did not appear to be properly sterilized and were reused between clients, which is honestly concerning and made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. It is a real shame because I was hoping to find a high quality, professional nail salon, but this was definitely not it. My nails chipped after 4 days. I ended up filing it off myself. Looks good from far but super bumpy up close. I'm not a fan of having my toes and nails done at the same time but even if you tell them that all salons seem to do it anyways to "save time". The salon was spacious and seemed clean. Pedicure felt rushed. A bit overpriced for what you get. read more

I got a shellac pedicure at Bayside when my usual spot was closed for the long weekend. I had a great experience - very thorough job done by the technician, including a luxurious massage. The space was clean and bright, and despite being busy didn't feel crowded or cluttered. I ended up with high quality polish. All for quite an affordable price. Highly recommend. read more

Zero stars, no question. Made an appointment over the phone yesterday to get a pedicure today (a Sunday) at 11:30. To be completely fair, I arrived 6 minutes late because I couldn't find parking and the salon is a bit hidden. Still totally my fault. Anyways, I went inside and there were 3 people working and all were in the middle of working on clients. How were they going to do my pedicure you ask? They weren't. So, the lady had me pick a color which I did in about 30 seconds. I stood there for about a minute before she told me to sit down and they'd get my chair ready. I was already 6 minutes late, so I was surprised my chair wasn't ready at my appointment time of 11:30. But fine, I could wait a few more minutes. However, 16 minutes exactly goes by or me sitting there and nobody moved to setup my chair. Just as I got up to leave the same lady said "she's setting up your chair now" and I see a lady quickly grab a blue liner for the foot bath. I quickly said "No, I'm just going to leave" and she was like "k" and went to back to doing what she was doing. Really bad experience, I got no pedicure and felt like me being there (even with an appointment) was an inconvenience. One of the things I hate most about so many nail salons is that they overbook or take walk ins when they have appointments because they want the volume, which I totally get because that's more money, but when that comes at the cost of making clients wait for extended periods, it's just not cool. read more

On Friday I went into get manicure, pedicure and my eye brows waxed. Nails turned out great but a lady with horrible eyelashes decided she wanted to wax my eyebrows. As she was leaning over me I could she was sick. Sniffling, and runny nose. It's now Monday and here I am sick. So inconsiderate and horrible to literally stand over someone knowing you are sick to wax their eyebrows. I tipped this person 8 bucks to wax my eyes only for her to get me sick. There were so many other people in there who could have waxed me so she could have easily asked someone else to do it. read more

Cheap but quality! I asked about a reservation the day of and was able to get a slot in the afternoon. Parking is a little rough because it's in downtown Kirkland, but other than that no complaints. I got a pedicure and was satisfied with my purchase, especially given the price point. read more

Love Ann who was getting my nails dressed so nicely every time I visited. She is very talented lady who is not only quick to get my nails done, but also meticulous in every details. Never had an occasion I left the salon with some colors on my fingertips, or needing to get my nails done within 4 weeks. Her dips always lasted 6 weeks, if not longer! I also enjoyed her witty humor, and her love of sparkles (which she always recommended to at least mixing in) too. Now I am on the hunt of tracking her down to the new salon she had moved on, while Bayside would be closed for a few months during the construction/renovation... if anyone have an idea where to find her, please save me and my poor fingernails! read more

Overall I think this is an okay mail salon. For the price and location I would have no problem coming back here. The salon itself is a bit hard to find as well as dated on the inside. All of us got gel nails and this is why my review is 3 stars. I expect regular nail polish to last around 2 weeks. Gel nail polish should last longer, however all 3 of us have put nails peeling by the end of the second week. We had our nails done on the 13th and it is the 27th. Mine lasted the longest but are cracking and peeling from underneath. One of my friends already lost a few nails. I think I'd rather spend more for better quality. Happy Spa Day! read more

I had a regular Pedicure and a shellac French Manicure at this salon last night. I walked out of there planning to write a 4 maybe 5 star review based on the salon cleanliness and decor, the staff's friendliness, their ability to follow personal preferences, and price. But this morning I noticed that the tips of my Shellac French Manicure are yellow... almost looked as if the nail polish is burned! I'm not sure why this is... it has never happened to me but it makes me wonder, it also makes the time and money I spent a complete waste! I do hope they read the reviews and try to do better because they are in a really great location, the ladies are super nice and the prices are reasonable. Too bad! I really wanted to like them. Update: I appreciate the owner's response, but I did not handle anything that would stain my nails. I went straight home to pack my bag and go to bed because I had a very early flight the next morning. Also, it looks like the nails are cracking on the tips and getting even more yellow :( you can see it on the pictures from today. I will take her up on the offer to re-do my nails once I return from my trip, but I still have to carve the time while on the trip to go somewhere else to fix it which was exactly the reason why I got them done 2 days ago. this was genuinely some of the worst service i have ever gotten at a nail salon. my nails look messy, unfinished, the lady put way too much gel x underneath, and didn't remove my previous gel x all the way. i do not reccomend this place and i will not be coming back. read more

Kai has been my manicurist for five years and I truly don't think there is anyone more talented in the greater Seattle area. I've visited my fair share of nail salons and she and her team are the best. When it came time for my wedding and my wedding manicure, I knew Kai would kill it and she did. Hallelujah!!! A nail place with reasonable prices and a good selection of colors that didn't make me want to file off my nails as soon as I got home. I would've given them 5 stars except for the place is a little shabby and they kept me waiting 15 minutes for my appointment. Also, Ana started my nails but Tem had to finish because they double booked Ana. That was perfectly fine because Tem did a great job shaping my nails...she was careful and very responsive to my input (too square, more rounded, etc) I just moved here and have tried 3 other salons before finding this one...I will absolutely be back! read more

This place was great! I did a walk in before my wedding day for a gel mani and regular pedi. They were awesome with color recs and making me feel relaxed. They also do waxing brows which I didn't know about and didn't think of till they offered. I spent about two hours there which felt long but I think was reasonable since it was so busy and I got so much done. At the end of the day, I was really satisfied with the quality of the services and the price for everything was $65 which I felt was a steal. read more

I usually go here for nail shellac and pedicure. And today was my worst experience. I used to like how they remove my cuticle and color my nail without any bump. When they do my nail, i thought she seems didnt care about my cuticle and i kept asking to remove my cuticle. And she told me there are no cuticle to remove. Of course my nail was dried and cuticle oil was removed . It was after washing my hand. And i was thinking She colored my nail so quicker than what i thought. And i saw my nail . It was terrible. It was not smooth. Looks ugly. I am not going to comeback anymore. It was not my first time actually. It seems like they got new employee and their quality has been down i guess. read more

First manicure and pedicure since the pandemic started and it was really nice! I asked for a design I saw on IG and definitely got a good copy of what I was asking for. The shellac feels really strong and still looks amazing after a few days now. I did feel I was there for a lot longer than I thought I was going to be but overall really happy with the quality and look of my shellac manicure and classic pedicure! I went in for a full set yesterday and I am feeling pretty disappointed. I asked for the pink powder but it really didn't turn out well. Also all the nails are all different shapes and length and not sturdy. They all came off a few hours after I got them down. Would you consider refunding my money? I'm an actress and have to be on set on Wednesday and now am going to have to pay more money and spend more time having someone re do them. Everyone was SO nice - and I appreciate you taking the time for my appointment . I am just not happy with my nails and would so appreciate a refund so I can use the money again. read more

Think I've found my new favorite nail place! The one I had been going to for 10+ years closed it's doors a couple years ago and since then I've been hitting random ones to see which would stick. What I love about this place is that walk ins are welcomed but if you have an appt they take you in as scheduled. No extra waiting around. Prices are reasonable, ladies are friendly, place is clean and best of all, toe designs are fantastic!! read more

The sugarwax is a lot less painful for me than a regular Brazilian and now I could never go back to regular wax. Nicole does it super quickly, is thorough, and I love how the sugar doesn't leave behind sticky residue. The Aqual Peel Infusion Facial was incredible. It included mask, exfoliation, hydradermabrasion, nano pen, and oxygen infusion. Nicole was very knowledgeable and it was super relaxing. She showed me the sebaceous filaments and dead skin removed in the water afterwards (see photo - gross and cool!). I definitely want to start getting regular facials after this; my skin feels so clean and hydrated and is glowing. Nicole is also super friendly and the appointments are totally comfortable. I went to the Grand Opening of this salon a few weeks ago and was very impressed by Cinderella (yes, that's her actual name. And the more you get to know her, the more apt the name is. She is as lovely as can be). The place inside is small but lovely, with a beautifully decorated interior hallway wall lined with vertical bamboo posts. And the individual rooms are warm (literally and figuratively), with soothing music playing, soothing artwork, and salon treatment beds that silently raise and lower, with all the modern facial machines one can imagine. But machines are only part of the recipe. The product line is wonderful, organic, from Hungary, in scents and in textures I'd not experienced before. And Cinderella is amazing, how she initially consults with you, about your skin care needs and goals, and customizing your facial and the products to use. And the actual facial? Magic. Words cannot articulate how relaxing it was, with the facial massages, and neck and shoulder and arm massages, and scalp massage, and hot eucalyptus towels, and amazing products. My skin was glowing afterwards and is still glowing. At the salon opening, my daughter and I experienced the complimentary waxing they offered, and we were impressed by how thorough they were, making sure eyebrows were symmetrical, brushing the brows after the waxing, tweezing any errant hairs left over - very professional and thorough. We were not expecting such thorough treatment for a complimentary service! They do sugaring as well as waxing, but I have no idea what that is (and it kinda scares me, truth be known. LOL!). The products are available for sale, if one is interested. They are pricey but probably worth it. The services here, too, are pricey (more so than other places I have gotten facials at), but I must say, the skillset and product line are of higher quality. If you really want to treat yourself to some quality pampering, this is the place.
