The sugarwax is a lot less painful for me than a regular Brazilian and now I could never go back to regular wax. Nicole does it super quickly, is thorough, and I love how the sugar doesn't leave behind sticky residue. The Aqual Peel Infusion Facial was incredible. It included mask, exfoliation, hydradermabrasion, nano pen, and oxygen infusion. Nicole was very knowledgeable and it was super relaxing. She showed me the sebaceous filaments and dead skin removed in the water afterwards (see photo - gross and cool!). I definitely want to start getting regular facials after this; my skin feels so clean and hydrated and is glowing. Nicole is also super friendly and the appointments are totally comfortable. They used that in conjunction with a soft wax too. Not really sure the reasoning behind it, but I really liked it. She had never had it done personally, but heard from people who had and they liked it. That was about enough I needed to take a leap and try this place out. The one I go to is in DT Kirkland, as that is the closest to me and I really don't like driving in Seattle. My first time I went was amazing. I had Melissa who has since gone to one of the Seattle locations. I LOVED her. She quickly greeted me when I first walked into the door and was able to see me right away. Our conversation was great and she didn't make me feel awkward. I loved the results I had after this first appointment. And I honestly didn't need to come back as soon as I did, but I needed a touch up before my husband came home from a long trip. The second time I wasn't as impressed with my esthetician, or the customer service, but the results are keeping me intrigued. I can always switch eestheticians for my next appointment so it's no big deal. I do wish on Saturday's though they had a little more of a flow. We waited for at least 10 minutes to see someone to check us in. We all actually went and sat on the couch it was taking so long. But again. I'm here for the product. And so far I really love it! Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. I loved the products she used and she started out with some wonderful aromatherapy. Her facial massage was better than any facial massage I have ever had. I say this after having 30 years of facials all over this country-none of them touched what she did. She also gave me a neck and shoulder massage while waiting for some of the products to "do their thing". She asked if I wanted neck and shoulder or arm and hand.
