Went to this place for the first time for a full set/ pedi. I think it was the owner who did my nails. When I left and got home I noticed my finger was aching and bleeding. I called to let her know and she really didn't have anything to say. She wanted me to send her proof of my hand so I do. Fast forward to 4 days later my middle finger is still aching and throbbing. I made an appointment and received a confirmation email two hours prior to my arrival, but when I showed Tanya (owner) informed me that she does not do dip nails.. so I requested Tina, who was not available. Tanya told me that I could see Gin. I chose Tanya then Tina based on reviews, but since my best bet (translation: only option) was to go with Gin, I was willing to do that. I asked her why the system would allow a service to be booked if she doesn't provide said service; she shrugged it off as "someone else can do it". That defeats the purpose of selecting a nail tech so just be mindful of this if you decide to book online. Overall I believe there was a misunderstanding about the service I wanted, but I didn't feel satisfied with Tanya's effort to understand nor did I feel particularly welcome. I decided to go elsewhere. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. A simple apology would have gone a long way and at least neutralized my experience. read more

I just got engaged and for me that means upping the frequency that I get my nails done from 0 to 10. Everyone is looking at my hands, I am looking at my hands, makes sense right? I had been pretty loyal to a nail place in Kirkland whenever there was a special reason to get my nails done but recently I wanted to try somewhere closer to me. I looked on yelp and this was the number one spot when looking from my app. I know when looking online vs. the app it changes things around but I read the reviews, skimmed the pictures and did my research to decide that I wanted to give this place a try. Last month I tried somewhere else in Bellevue and my nails turned out nice but they don't even compare to the really nice nails I got done today. Normally I will look for a picture on pinterest to show whomever is doing my nails so that there is less confusion. I went for an easter pastel look and was not totally sure the salon would have the colors in the shades I wanted. They had ones close enough and in the pastel family. I also was unsure about which nail should have which color but Chloe (who was doing my nails) helped me out with deciding the first hand to mimic the picture and then she did what made sense with the other. Chloe is very thorough with her technique. She shapes and trims your cuticles like it matters to her that they are perfect. I felt very confident with how my nails were turning out throughout the entire process. I knew that my the end of it I was going to be very happy with the result. Speaking for my experience only, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try for a gel manicure. P.S. I tried to post pictures in different lighting and backgrounds so you could see if there was a change color. read more

This place is so cute! All modern interior, it feels so relaxing the moment you walk in. Parking is free! Big plus in big cities. The gal that did my dip powder was efficient, nice, and had so much attention to detail! She got me in and out within the hour since I had work, but nothing felt halfway or rushed, she was just that good. It's been a week and today someone asked if I had just got them done! Definitely would recommend friends and coworkers, the price is good for Bellevue too and located just a couple blocks away from downtown. I had an awesome pedicure here today! It was the Super Deluxe Pedicure and it was one of the best I've had. It included calf massage with fresh orange slices, which was surprising and felt great. Plus, it seemed like the vitamins were good for my skin. It also included paraffin wax, hot stone massage, and warm towels wrapped around my calves, in addition to a foot soak and other things that are more typical for a pedicure. Not that impressed by the work they did. The initial manicure, the edges around my cuticle application was sloppy. But I was not that bothered...until my manicure didn't even last two weeks. I did not do anything strenuous, FYI. This is Shellac, normally lasts me 2+ weeks. I wouldn't come here for pedicure either since they don't use liners in their tubs.
