I much needed a pedi as I've neglected my feet for some time. When I walked in, the people were genuinely nice and welcoming. I would normally pick the general pedi, but decided to get the scrub, paraffin, & the hot stone. It was worth it! Mai really paid attention from clipping, scrubbing, to the massage. Have been here a few times by myself, service was fine, nothing special, but it's close to where I live so the convenience factor kept me coming back. But yesterday I decided to take my 3 y/o daughter (she's been getting mani/pedis since her 3rd bday so not her first time) since she asked to go. When we got there I told them I wanted mani/pedis for both of us and they looked at my daughter like I had asked them to work on a jackal. They said they would only paint her toes and that they needed her chair for a customer (uh, I believe she was a customer). I had already sat down and had my water running or I would have left (later several people told me I should have left anyway). I had asked them if they could at least give her a foot massage, which she loves, and the younger gal said yes but the older woman said no. When they painted her toes they were very terse with her and she just looked so sad. She kept asking me why everyone else got water and their feet rubbed and she didn't. We've been to several places that were not equipped with the special kid salon chairs and have never had a problem. We've always had a lovely time with them making her feel special. Not this time. When we left she burst into tears and said she didn't have fun. I could have cried right there on the street. Convenient or not, will never go back there again. read more

I love USNails on Leary Way in Redmond. I have never been treated like a client, but like family. Nina always gives me a hug when I arrive and her Mom offers hot tea. I challenge Nina with some difficult designs and she always creates exactly what I want. I would give 10 stars if I could. I will never go anywhere else for mani/pedi. This is the BEST place for nail!! Visited many places for nail including in Sydney/ Hong Kong/ many places in. Seattle/ Eastside. U.S Nails by far give me the best experience. Have been there at least 6 times and never gets disappointed. I have thin skip and lot of cuticles alone my nails, but the technician here always treat my nails carefully and generally. Not only they are skillful, I also like their color collections. Either getting Shellac or regular, I always get impressed by the results. This is my only place to go to have my nail polish. My friends keep asking me where did I get my nail done because it looks really good and super long lasting!!! Great service, clean and updated color and tools. Oh they also just got new massage chairs, it's clean and comfortable! The price is great, in fact I think the price is below average! I really don't mind they raise the price $2-$5 dollars, it worth every single dollars. read more

This was my first time ever getting a pedicure and also my first time in a nail salon on the East Side. I called ahead but while I was there the women had to turn away a few customers because they were too busy. The first older lady who attended to me was very gentle but I didn't interact with her much because she spoke very little English. A younger lady named Nina touched up the paint job and asked if I wanted my running toe calluses taken off further. I was pleased that a) she noticed that I still had calluses (and identified me as a runner!) and b) asked whether or not I wanted the calluses to stay. In the end she actually put on a whole new coat of color and top coat. Nina radiated sunshine and was very pleasant to talk to. I am not from Washington but if I go back I will probably request Nina (without being too picky) because she was so wonderful. I was also very impressed with the price -- $22 for a full pedicure. I had been a frequent customer of this nail salon, however, lately, they have gone down hill, in a big way. I never had a problem walking in to find out if they had any openings, but they started to become extremely annoyed that I would not have an appointment. So, I started making appointments only to find that I had to wait twenty to thirty minutes because they had taken walk ins. My daughters have had the same problems. ------ Update 1/21/2015 --------- Hate to drop my 5 star to a 2 star. I still love Kim and all the girls there, they really still do the best pedicures... But their hygiene standards are just not up to par. My feet itched after the last few of times I was there, but since there were no other symptoms, and I really do love the ladies, I didn't think much about it. Took my mom there last time, her feet is more sensitive... she came away with rows of little red bubbles on her feet that itched for days. Although I didn't get the red bubbles, my feet itched too. So... no more. :( ----------------------------- Love Kim and her team. After another place scrapped skin off the top of my foot with the grater and left an ugly scar, I was swearing off pedicures but a friend recommended Kim, so I went. So glad I did. Kim does the best pedicures ever. I was super scared and would instinctively withdraw my foot at the slightly worry of the grater cutting my foot again, but Kim was super gentle, careful and yet patient and persistent that she got me to calm down and trust her expert hands. She does have to answer the phone here and there, but she's always thorough, fast and well skilled. Besides, this allows her to always pick up my calls to her, so I don't mind. I next took my mom in and another lady, Tina, made mom feel right at ease with her mani+pedi too. She also worked really really hard to scrap off all my mom's dead skin (mom's first pedicure...), I could tell it was a lot of extra work, and other shops would have probably just done a superficial job, but Tina really took good care of my mom's feet that I am really grateful. (My mom is a frugal lady who is shy and never spends on herself - she left the salon with a glowing smile). Ok, I confess, I rounded up a 4.5 stars review. The shop is showing signs of wear and tear that it's hard to ignore and may leave some feeling uncomfortable. But if you look beyond that, you'll find a lovely group of ladies (and man!) who do great work at a really reasonable price. Their friendliness more than makes up for any old wall and facility for me. read more

LOVED THIS PLACE!! My sister and I went here and got the best pedicures and the best foot massage!! 2 pedicures and 1 manicure =$52!! HOLLAA!! They were very clean, very fast. The girl who did my pedicure was Tina. Very sweet and gave me one of the best leg massages ever! she was strong! This is my new spot! It is very tiny in here, so make sure you get a deep breath of fresh air before you get in with all the fumes. The bonus is you get a little tipsy from them though!! read more

I went here for the first time to get acrylics and the lady totally messed them up. First of all, she cut me twice to make me bleed and didn't even apologize. Then she got acrylic on my skin and didn't notice it so I had to tell her. If acrylic gets on the skin it doesn't last as long. After I left I noticed that there was a ton left on my skin and I had to actually fix my nails at home because she didn't do a good enough job. Not going here again read more

I'm not a big "nails" person, being a tomboy for the most part. I decided to get my nails done today for probably the 2nd time ever just for the fun of it. I chose to try out US Nails because of the great yelp reviews and because the location is really convenient. The ladies here were really great. Very friendly and talented. I had a little trouble deciding if I wanted an American or a French manicure and the lady doing my nails was really patient and humored me. I appreciated her work and she did a great job. The atmosphere of the place was home-y rather than sterile, which is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I'm pretty OCD and I couldn't help wondering if the instruments were cleaned before they were used on my hands, especially the filing boards which looked pretty well-used. I'm sure some people prefer the cozy home-like environment rather than a sterile money-farm environment. I think each has its pros and cons. I'm very happy with my nails and if for some reason I get the impulse to do this again, I'll definitely return to US Nails. read more

I came here because many of the reviews mentioned fantastic nail art and I wanted a spider web on an accented nail for Halloween. When I walked in I showed a woman a picture of what I wanted and she said indicated it wouldn't be a problem. She helped me pick colors that matched the example and then I sat down for her to start taking the old shellac off. Half way through she switched with another woman and then left the salon. When the second woman looked like she was finishing up without doing the nail design I asked her about it and she said she couldn't do it because she didn't know how to do nail designs. I was pretty upset because the whole reason I came was because of the reviews for nail designs and the reason I stayed was because I was told it wouldn't be a problem. Let's be honest black nails with a like green accent nail without a design would look really dumb. So the second lady talked it over with a third guy who said he would give it a shot. It didn't work at all, so we found a compromise with a different nail design and I paid and left. I also found it surprising that they didn't use lotion on my hands or give me a hand massage at all. I've only been to a few salons but they always do that. When I got to my car and really looked at my nails, I wasn't happy. The tips were jagged and the lime green had somehow discolored in places and looked brown, and some the non accented nails weren't smooth, it's like they had bubbles in them. The shellac is really really thin, so I hope it lasts the two weeks my manicures usually last. Long story short, I won't be going back. read more

I came after I saw the reviews were so great. I came in to get one acrylic nail fixed and she barely took any time to fix it. It's not even/flat or shaped like my other ones. Also after I washed my hands my nails had all those little fuzzies on them and she didn't take the time to wipe them off and decided to paint over the fuzzies and tried to hide them...which didn't work. Always seems to be busy but the last interaction left me disenchanted. I called them up to see if they would take 4 people for a birthday party. The woman on the line told me that there weren't enough people working on Saturday and that they could take 3 while one waited. When I declined, she tried to insist that I move the birthday party to Friday instead of Saturday where there were enough workers to work on 4 people.. I already felt awkward with the suggestions and told her no. She then proceeded to call me back with caller id and tried to offer the same thing again. First of all, I never gave her permission to call me back and second, the answer was still no. I don't think I'll be returning to this place again. read more

I recently started to get manicures at US Nails in Redmond based on its reviews and good pricing. They did a great job from the start (I got a shellac manicure). Since my first time I have also tried some salons around Seattle - they have been friendly and professional, but the pricing and attention to detail did not compare to US Nails. (I dont get acrylics/gels/tips, so I can't speak for those services). I just got a natural-looking American manicure (shellac) and she did an excellent job! read more

My pedicure lasted 15 minutes and when I got home to take a closer look they left some of my dark polish on and missed the edges of my nails so honestly I could have done a better job myself. Nice ladies, but poor service I thought. read more

They did a great job on my pedicure! The people are very nice and prices were very reasonable, probably the cheapest I've seen in the Bellevue/Redmond area. My pedicure was only $22 but they were very thorough. The place is really small though so I recommend making an appointment. I only saw about 4 pedicure chairs and 4 manicure tables. They didn't have a huge color selection though so I would bring one if u have a favorite you want them to use. read more

Had an amazing manicure from here! Can't remember who did them. I've been trying to give my nails a break from gel so I did a regular manicure. I have NEVER had a regular manicure last more than a couple days without chipping, cracking, smudging etc. but it lasted TWO WEEKS with no problems!!!!!!! The only downside to my experience is that my friend and I were told we could be taken right away but we ended up waiting about 20ish minutes. But it was worth it for a 2 week flawless manicure! read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp, I gave this place a try. It is true. US Nails is a nice place for decent price and service. The massage is all right. The only thing (that is always my issue...) is the carpet. I will not walk on the carpet without a pair of slipper. The white towels should be newer. read more

My pedicure was too good!! They did a great job especially with my foot ... too much of dry skin but she patiently did it!

I was surprised after all of the good reviews to have such a horrible experience. I made an appointment for my friend and I - I still had to wait 20 minutes before someone started. They kept on switching people doing my nails and no one seemed to be proficient in doing a fill. One of the women cut me very deep with the file. I didn't see licenses posted and after the fact I really wonder about if they are adhering to sanitation regulation. It took 2 hours for my friends full set. Will never be going back and wouldn't recommend. read more

I have been going to this place for a few years now and have never had a problem with my nails! I only get manicures and pedicures so I can not speak farther than that, but the service is excellent and friendly. My favorite part is the hand & foot/leg massages which are always relaxing. The massage pedicure chairs are a plus as well! Also, I tend to mess up a nail every once and awhile before they are dry and the ladies always fix it, ensuring that I have a fabulous nails when I leave. I would recommend leaving yourself a little extra time as they can get backed up with walk-ins later in the day, especially in the summer. read more

I moved to Redmond in June of 2010. I found Us nails. The staff was friendly and their basic services were good. I became a loyal customer, and never looked for another nail salon.Just mani/ pedis. In February of 2011 I decided to have them apply acrylics.It was the worst I have seen. When I spoke with the manager, she looked at them and said she would try to fix them. After about 20 minutes of filing, buffing, etc, she changed her mind. She then said she could not see what I was talking about. They looked straight at me and said they could not see the bubbles, which were clearly on every acrylic. They would not admit the problem or do anything else about it. Very nice people working there, but extremely disappointed with how my nails turned out. I was okay with the length when she cut the acrylic nails, but she filed them down even shorter to stubs... My middle finger nails are shorter than my pinky nails....They took on way too many customers and completely rushed my appointment. The polish is sloppy and messy, no base coat was used, and the nails are bumpy. I didn't bother having them try to fix it because I was in a rush, and by then the salon was full. I called back and asked if I could get them fixed, and they said I would have to pay extra.... Would not recommend. read more
