    Avocado Toast

The Avocado Toast and Healthy Hash were delicious! I would have never thought to pair strawberries with an over-easy egg dish, but it works well with all of the other ingredients such as the advertised chili-rubbed kale. To me it appeared that the chili pepper condiment may have been added separately vs massaging the kale with it but it was all very tasty. I cannot comment on the Healthy Hash other than to say my husband didn't leave a morsel behind. Our waitress was friendly and attentive but service was a tad slow but we were not in a hurry. The ambiance is modern and uplifting and always a favorite or ours when we're in Granger/Mishawaka. We'll be back!

Uptown kitchen is a lovely, open space, with a great menu. Their cocktails are good, and the service is always top notch. It feels good to be there.

The food was delicious I had a sandwich and the service was prompt and friendly. A few minor issues with silverware, but overall, we all enjoyed our meal and would return.

The Shrimp and Andouille Sausage Hash was excellent. Service was quick and friendly, and everything was fresh and delicious. This was my first time stopping in, but definitely not the last. There are several other dishes on the menu I cannot wait to try. An excellent breakfast all around!

food was pretty okay, not terrible but not amazing. i think it could've been good though with more flavor. service was a bit slow, but they did seem very busy and booked. so it was really loud inside but overall not bad

I stuggled between three and four stars for this restaurant. I wanted so badly to love this place, but it just didn't. Ambience: Trendy weekend brunch, a little more "light lunch after golf" atmosphere than I expected. The decor is very rustic meets Cosmo, I enjoyed the cake/vase island in the middle of the restaurant. Staff: We had a gentleman that was very rushed unfortunately. It seemed like he was helping to fold napkins in the back (our view was the kitchen area) and other tasks while we had almost 45 minutes between drinks and brunch. We looked around and saw lots of other staff stopping and checking on tables etc, but we did not. The older man who brought out our meal finally asked if we needed anything. Yes, we had drinks with no straws or silverware. Food: Older Daughters Caesar salad she said was good! Looked delicious I had stuffed french toast, cream cheese was delicious, banana compote was just banana lol Kids had a pancake, it was a pancake. Overall: I have been in restaurants all over the world, and this one of the highest in pricing and lowest in overall restaurant atmosphere, service and food. In all fairness, it was a busy ND game weekend. The restaurant was busy but not completely full and no one was waiting to be seated. I am hoping this was just a fluke visit. I am going to try this restaurant again at a less busy time with just a girlfriend to hopefully see what others like about this place!

When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and taken straight to our table. They serve breakfast and lunch all day which is one reason we chose this place. Within minutes our waitress came to the table and gave me water to start. The menu looked very appetizing which made it very difficult to decide on what to order. I was very pleased with how fast the food came out and how it tasted. The restaurant is very open with high ceilings and there is a separate section that could be closed off for a private party. I would definitely go back again.

Came here for breakfast and we were impressed by the quality of food here. Simple breakfast foods made with creative and quality approaches to sophisticated cooking.

We went with a party of 5 and there is only one table that fit us but luckily it was open. I would suggest going early because they sell out fast. It was very busy when we went but it was worth it. I really liked the Ube cookie and the sandwich I got. They warmed the sandwich but not the cookie (I also didn't ask them to). The Ube cookie had coconut in it and I'm not a coconut lover but it was subtle enough that I like it!! Coffee was great too!

Located next to Brasserie 23 and some nice apartments, the exterior of this café immediately gave off European café vibes. Inside, we were greeted by the staff and looked at the menu for a bit before ordering. About 5 minutes after ordering, we received our drinks and food from a few kind, fast, and professional baristas. There is free wifi and the two unisex bathrooms are clean. There is also a lot of places to sit and we saw a few students working on homework while sipping on their matcha lattes. The prices for everything is overall decent but still a little high. Bakery goods are priced well while the drinks are maybe a dollar too expensive. They only use locally sourced whole milk in their drinks as well, just an FYI. All around the cafe are various things for sale, like local coffee beans, glass jars of that whole milk, and yummy loaves of sourdough and foccacia bread. I am from out of town so I didn't buy any bread or milk but I wish I could have! As for the food, everything was indulgent and delicious! We ordered a lot. I got a cinnamon churro latte with GORGEOUS sky design art. The taste was pretty basic - Like a cinnamon hot chocolate. Very milk forward. My bf got a chai latte. This had strong flavor. I should get a different drink next time as I only like to pay $7 for drinks that are unique! My bad! So after we each had an indulgent caffeine drink, we then had a breakfast sandwich. I got the turkey/bacon and my bf got the sausage one. Bacon was good and slightly fatty and the bun/brioche bread was really poofy! After an hour or so of conversation with my bf's family and friends, we then shared an almond fragipange cookie (thiccc and moist) and a blueberry coffee cake slice. Both were great! We had the coffee cake at his home and enjoyed the cookie at the cafe. The cookie was just like the cookies from the famous Levain cookie chain. These are the kind of cookies you can only have infrequently because they are so high calories, but boy, they are delish! I already followed Caffe Capriccio on Instagram so I can keep track of limited time drinks and desserts! I'll be moving to this area next year to be with my boyfriend and am happy to say that we will definitely be back!

The restaurant is clean and attractive. I had the Croque Madame, which was literally perfect, and better than those I had in Paris. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese perfectly melted, the egg perfectly cooked (not runny, not overly hard), the ham perfectly salted. Others in my group enjoyed the Short Ribs Benedict, Grand Bebe, and Tortilla de Patatas. (I'll note our first visit was the morning after a Notre Dame home game, and their stores were depleted: we could have anything on the menu as long as it was chicken. :) The chicken dishes we had that visit were very well done as well - moist and juicy on the inside and lovely on the outside. Obviously we came back, just not after a home game!)

Onion Soup Gratinee - $11 - Needed salt and wasn't very flavorful. 2/5 stars. Chorizo and Shrimp - $22 - This was easily the best dish. Cooked well, good flavor, and a decent portion (probably because the price is so high). 4/5 stars. Chicken and Leek Puff Pastry - $26 - The pastry was lacking. It was soggy, weird taste to it, and just not pleasant. The filling was also mediocre. Don't get this. 0/5 stars. L'Entrecote de Paris (Steak Frites) - $45 - The steak was chewy, the fries were over salted. For $45, this was not enough steak, whatsoever. Not like it was a good cut either. It's a rip off. 0/5 stars. Pan Roasted Duck Breast - $36 - My mom and I both ordered this, and we could combine both of our dishes to make ONE duck breast. Portion was horribly small. Never have I ever been given HALF a duck breast. The sauce wasn't good either and it was broken. 2/5 stars cause the rest of it was cooked fine. The birthday dessert was a scoop of ice cream and some stale cinnamon pastry thing. This was wildly bad. If the flavors were on point, the prices would be understandable. But the flavors were bad, the prices are expensive, and we waited a very long time to get our food. We couldn't get into a different restaurant that night (it was a Saturday night on move in weekend), but this one we could get into, and now we know why. Don't go here.

Walking in, the vibe was more than fine... I'd even say a bit more elevated than a diner, with some charm. The server was welcoming and did get us started quite promptly, with our order taken within 5-10 minutes and coffee on the table 5-10 min later. Everything was downhill from there. An hour passed and we still didn't have our food. The server told us "you're next, it's coming". While something seemed off, we remained patient. Another 15 min go by, nothing. Mind you, unbenownst to the staff, we actually knew another table who arrived and sat down 15 min after us and, while they also waited a while, they finished their meal and left and we still didn't have anything. It's at least an hour and a half later, and we finally said something. Once again, "you're next, it's coming", but this time an added, "he sold your food to someone else". Aka the server either told the truth, and the restaurant made an error, or the server pawned their error on the chef. Food finally started to drop, but the order was certainly not fully accurate. Tolerable, but noticeably not accurate. Missing sides, incorrect orders, and one guest missing their whole order. At this point, we're looking to speak to a manager. The missing omelette meal finally hit the table, looking like it was whipped up in a couple minutes, on a dirty pan (think full yellow with a layer of black and oily grease). Upon cutting it up it was clear that it wasn't fully cooked. I wish I took a photo, but the "owner" took it to examine it herself and was both rude and defensive. Not one apology for any of the above. Forget about any suggestive comps or resolution. The server didn't make any eye contact once it was obvious an error was made. Genuinely, I can understand that mistakes can be made, especially during busy times. But, no excuse for the demeaned of this "owner". I put this in quotes because her behavior and response to the situation is certainly not acceptable. Maybe we had a "miss" experience. Maybe the food and service would be better next time. But due to the response of the "owner" we will not be returning and I would not recommend to anyone.

It's not often I leave without paying, but if you're not going to acknowledge me and cant be at least a decent host, I'll just be on my way before i get too far in.
