Love the all day menu here! I got the huge stuffed pancake (delicious) and my dad got a pizza all at 10:30 am. The service was super fast and the price was great. One star was removed because the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner and updated.

    BURNT 4 PIECE FRIED CHICKEN!

Never in my lifetime will I go to this place of a so-called restaurant again. We usually go after Sunday service every week. Well, this will be my last time going there. We got there and sat in our favorite server's area. We ordered our food, but this time I decided to order food to go as well. The Togo food came in a tied bag delivered by a different person besides our server. Our server was looking for our takeout food as well and someone else gave it to us. Paid for our food and drove home and put it in the fridge for later. Well later came and I open my food. That when all the dumbness happened. I ordered fried chicken (4 pieces) and sides, grilled chicken club sandwich with sided. The fried chicken was burnt beyond belief. It was too late to call the restaurant and complain, so I waited till the next day to take my uneaten food and the receipt back. I spoke with the manager and showed him the food. The chicken looked past burnt and he said it looks fine to him and asked did I cut it open and check it. Obviously if you look at it, you can tell it hasnt been touched. I said you not going to do anything about this. He said, its our policy that if something is wrong, you have to bring it back the same day. I said so you want me to drive 45 minutes each way to bring this back, plus I open the food late at night and noticed how disgusting it looked. He said there is nothing we can do. Its a shame! I brought untouched food and receipt back and he did nothing. What makes it even worse is, its just food and he could have gave me a gift card or something after all I was a frequently visiting customer. To my favorite server, Ill miss your great customer service but the restaurant can keep this loss.

Today is the last time I will eat at Tradewinds and one of the only times We have actively decided to zero tip waitstaff and management. Here is why: My boyfriend, oldest daughter and I dropped our kids off at Bethel and decided to go out to eat. My daughter (16) was not hungry, so she laid down in the booth. The waitress at one point asked her to put her foot down off the booth and she complied. Within a few minutes, what I assume is the manager, came over and Rudely asked my daughter if she was sick and rudely said "This is a restaurant, not a bus station." My boyfriend, daughter and I were Aghast and my boyfriend immediately called the manager out for her rudeness. The manager (we think) did apologize after being called out by my boyfriend, but seriously what the hell. Did we need to get approval for her to chill out? She is 16, she typically sits up at restaurants, but we feel there was no reason for such open hostility and rudeness. We were paying customers, typically tip very generously and not that it's their business but my daughter does have depression, anxiety, was operating on little sleep as we had to evacuate our home early in the morning due to a nearby building on fire & had been running around with us. This could have been handled absolutely differently without rudeness. If they would have quietly asked her to sit up explaining that there policy is that everyone remains seated, I would not be reviewing them right now. There was a child directly across from us (younger) that was laying on a booth seat with no admonishment from management. I have been in countless restaurants where my children have fallen asleep on booth seats. I would hate to have other parents have this experience here. Rudeness has no place when you provide a service.

The service is exceptional and the food is delicious. We loved the potato skins which were unique in that they were more like tempura than traditional potato skins. The Brussels had a ton of flavor as did the steaks and salads. The highlight was probably the Sword of John Adams. It's basically a giant kabob with grilled meats (steak, lamb & chicken) and vegetables. It reminded me of something I imagine you'd see at Medieval Times but much more tastefully done. The Pumpkin Spice Gelato and Crème Brûlée were a nice way to finish our dinner. A bit unexpected that they also offer sushi. We did not try it this time but based on our first experience, would feel confident to try it next time since everything was SO good.

Now for the food... we were so excited for the steak fondue... three small cast iron pots, less than a 1/4 cup of fondue the same amt of meat and mushrooms and a mound of toasted bread cubes... this was tasty, but for $18 those crocks should have been filled three quarters full! For dinner I ordered 1/2 of the arugula salad with chicken. I could not eat the salad as it was drenched in dressing, almost like it it been dressed earlier and lest to wilt.. chicken was over seasoned and quite dry. The burger... COVERED in two sauces... they don't described it as a smothered burger... such a shame bc the flavors were there. If choosing, pick the others, prices are much better and hands down, so is the food..

Besides that--I hardly have much of a demand, I just want to know if my burger comes with a patty or is just brisket, as it wasn't very clearly indicated in the "burger box" Super disappointing at such a price point/location. I expect more than being visited twice in nearly 30 minutes and only getting the response of "I don't know" and "I'm not sure" I left after taking two sips of my beer, and was chased out by some manager who FINALLY acknowledged us, only trying to get paid for the single ounce of beer that I consumed, as well as two sips of (warm)unsweetened tea that my grandmother had. It's not often I leave without paying, but if you're not going to acknowledge me and cant be at least a decent host, I'll just be on my way before i get too far in. When you charge $20 for a burger, I would think the service is matching that level of quality. Yes I would like a follow up, too. Because if you got my grandma following me in agreement, there's an issue. Really disappointing, probably won't make the stops like I used to. Place appears to need some quality help.

The food was creative, beautifully presented, and incredibly well-balanced, and the wine pairings elevated everything even further.
