I had spinach dip (excellent!), whiskey sour (modified) - so good! For my entree I had the pork and swapped for mashed potatoes instead of polenta. I would do terrible things for their spinach artichoke dip. I'm so devastated that they dropped it from this month's menu. It's absolute perfection! That hint of lemon! I wish the mussels were served in a bowl that kept heat longer. The flavor was on point, just a little lukewarm. Arrabbiata shrimp pasta (no longer on the menu) was **chef's kiss**. Chorizo Caesar salad was an interesting take and the corn was a nice touch. We prefer the Stone Fruit Panzenella that's new to this month. The sweetness was a nice contrast to the heat of the Gambas Al Ajillo, which was a tad on the fishy flavored side for a shrimp dish. The Pork Tenderloin was perfectly cooked. I wish there was something with texture or more flavor also on the plate, maybe two chunks of grilled onion instead of just one. The romanesco had good flavor, but I wish it had been paired with something either spicy or tangy. The pea mash was sweet and not as complimentary to the romanesco as I had hoped. We swiped the meat through the romanesco then in the leftover sauce from the Gambas. On Thursday's, they have a special on Old Fashioned. The ice cube!! Single solid clear perfection. The entire drink is on point, don't sleep on it. The ambiance is everything I need. Plants everywhere and no kids for the perfect date night. Reservations are encouraged and definitely not required. We've been able to get seats quickly as walk-ins. I've been looking for something to replace Temper Grille as our date night spot. Pretty sure I found it! read more

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. Expectation were for mediocrity based on the location and appearance of the restaurant, but everything was well very prepared by a talented chef. Craft One Half is one of those places where you never have a bad meal. They offer a seasonal menu as well as some staples. Our 2 favorite dishes were both vegetables- hot honey Brussel sprouts and the sriracha dusted baby carrots. We could have stopped with JUST these, but we continued ordering the saffron risotto (perfect for a day with snow flurries) and a side salad to round everything out. The grilled shrimp add-on was perfect topper to our "big salad". We will be excited when they bring back their mock-tail menu because those drinks are incredible (even without the booze)! Yeah, new favorite in SB/Mishawaka area. We got the PEI Mussels, delicious, fat mussels, great sauce, and toast. Mains were the beef short rib (outstanding), chicken & potato cnocchi (very tasty), and the seafood feature, which was a very generous portion of center cut salmon, a fat piece of pork belly, all on top of forbidden black rice and some sort of curry sauce. Super super good. The portions were sizeable - we all had maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of our meals left over to take home. For the quality of ingredients, flavor combinations, and overall experience, the value was good! Service was attentive and conversational. Drinks from the bar, very tasty. Also, the sticky toffee puzzle bread (kinda like a bread pudding) was great for dessert. Warming and sweet. Definitely recommend this place. It is 21+, however there's not much on the menu for kids anyway. If you like roselily or houndstooth, or lasalle or cafe navarre, I think you'd be plenty happy here as well! read more
