This review is a few months late but I finally found my pictures from my visit to this nice Granger, Indiana restaurant in 2025 and figured I'd still put my review out there. Better late than never! So this visit was me, my bf, and his parents in honor of my boyfriend's birthday in 2025. The exterior is really nice and new, as is the interior! More on that in a bit... We had a reservation that we made weeks in advance but still had a wait. Rocky River Tap and Table were definitely understaffed and it took forever to get waited on and then we waited nearly 30 minutes to put in our food order. Our waitress was Amy and she tried but she definitely had too many tables. Once we got our drink and food orders, I sipped on a cider from Round Barn in Michigan (refreshing!) and I ordered a $21 bison burger with sweet potato fries (tasty!). I always get sweet potato fries whenever they are an option and this was a very generous portion. We had cheese biscuits to share and all 4 of us were addicted to them. The biscuits were so unique! My bf got a free birthday dessert of a carmel brownie dessert that was diverse in flavors and a crispy salted crispy-ness on the bottom 9/10. He, of course, shared his dessert because he's a very lovely and well-trained guy! Haha! So we enjoyed the food and the drinks but were not inpressed with the service. How about the decor and ambiance? Well, Rocky River recently underwent a renovation and it looks spectacular! The interior was white with moss on the walls and poinsettas everywhere as it was the holiday season of 2025. It is perfect for classy Instagram-worthy photos. I didn't pay for our dinner but I found that the prices were decent for the most part. I'd come back on a slower day. This a very nice casual restaurant. It's clean and tastefully decorated. I decided to try their Adult Grilled Cheese. The sandwich was delicious. Their fries were pretty good. The service was friendly and helpful. A good dining experience. My only thing that bothered me a little was the fries being so heavily seasoned....like a lot and for some reason I seemed to have a lot of really tiny pieces of fries. We are traveling here for basketball tournament and this restaurant popped up as a must go to. I ordered the fish tacos and my daughter ordered a chicken Caesar salad. The fish tacos were amazing with pineapple salsa and avocado and my daughter's salad was delicious read more

Everything is SO fresh! Hands down the elote dip was our favorite! Service was great and the restaurant is homey and welcoming.

The food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was peaceful, which was a nice surprise since we had a late lunch on a Sunday and didn't expect it to be that busy. I had the Chipotle salmon, and my daughter went with the parmesan-crusted perch. While neither of us was a fan of the dill sauce that accompanied the perch, we were glad it was served on the side. We both ended up finishing our plates! I'm looking forward to returning soon to try more dishes. read more

We usually stop between Cleveland and Chicago for lunch with friends. We stopped here for the first time and we will be back for sure! The food was outstanding, the ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful, the servers were friendly and very good. Six of us all had different meals and every one was expertly prepared, plated and served. I highly recommend coming here you will not be disappointed! read more

We had the artichoke dip to start. Best I've ever had and the flatbread it came with was wonderful!! I had the bison burger and my wife had the prime rib burger. Both were really good and the sweet potato fries are addicting!! The key lime pie is huge and just perfect!!! Service was excellent and we are needy!! It's a beautiful restaurant and when we got there they had reserved a high top for us but my wife is short so they quickly got a table ready for us!! Very accommodating!! read more

Okay atmosphere, a little bland, hit and miss on the menu. Wife had ahi salad and enjoyed it, but my chicken bacon ranch flatbread had zero flavor and was a total disappointment. Should have known better to get flatbread at a farm to table place. Good offering of drinks and good service, but food just not good enough to be in our rotation of weekly places to go. Great time!! Had the jalapeño cheddar biscuits (they come with honey butter- slightly odd pairing bc of the cheese but not bad). Highly recommend the stuffed chicken! Great flavor and the veggies were perfectly roasted. Also service was FAST! Had just finished a biscuit when the main meal came out. read more

We had a great dinner here. It was totally not what I was expecting. The name of the restaurant denotes bar food, but the decor was very French country and the menu quite diverse. We enjoyed lots of yummy food and drinks. It was a little pricey though. Definitely a nicer occasion restaurant . But I would definitely come again. read more

I come here every time my parents are in town from Miami. The quality of the food is great for South Bend. Fresh farm to table. The menu isn't large or extensive so not a ton of options, but they have a decent variety of foods. I like when they switch it up seasonally and add new items. It's pricey, but again, the quality shows in the dishes. Most restaurants in the area are chains and have microwave food with preservatives and tons of sodium. My only complaint is there aren't many vegan & vegetarian options. I often just have the same thing over and over again, their Caesar salad which is so yummy with the fresh grated lemon zest and sweet potato fries. (They should do like a caprese panini for those who don't want a flat bread as an entree or a tomato soup and grilled cheese. One time they had a poblano grilled cheese on the menu which was awful. Some things should be keep original and simple. I do LOVE their espresso martini, it's more like Kahlúa and cream than a true espresso martini, but still delicious. My dad also enjoys their beers and cocktails. Their renovations came out amazing. Much nicer dining room than they previously had. Very nice ambiance and decor. The service can be slow sometimes. Some servers are warm and friendly some are cold, that's usually hit or miss. All in all a great choice for dining in the Mishawaka area. read more

Ordered the chicken pot pie. It had one flavor: salt. The crust was quite underdone, the gravy? bechamel? Was translucent, lumpy and gelatinous. There were chunks of, so far as I could tell, prefab "grilled" chicken patties in it?! No peas. Not a single pea. They graciously make up for the lack of peas by adding EXTRA severely mushy carrot chunks. No one working here has heard of seasoning. They didn't get past salt in culinary school. Service was top notch! We ordered poblano cheddar biscuits, chicken pot pie, chipotle chicken tacos, honeycrisp ale, lavendar love and pumpkin spice margarita. All very delightful. All this and new, fresh decor want me coming back for more! During October, they are donating a dollar to help stop violence against women every time someone orders the lavendar love cocktail! We went to Rocky River and have were so disappointed. We both ordered tacos, and they came with 2 stale tortillas, that you could not eat, a spoonful of rice and maybe 10 black beans. There was no lettuce, sour cream or anything else on the tacos. To spend close to $50.00 for these 2 meals was, needless to say, way overpriced. We both left hungry. Honestly, we could have gotten better tacos at Taco Bell. Don't waste your money eating there. read more

I eat steak probably 2-3 times a week, for the prices they give, the amount of food given was almost insulting, I wouldn't in a million years have the audacity to serve what they serve at the prices they charge. Food was disappointing and mid at best, the only redeeming factor is the staff being polite and professional. It was our first time stopping to this restaurant. We were near Granger for a sporting event. I looked on Yelp and saw this restaurant was close and had good reviews. It did not disappoint. Our teenage son was extremely hungry after wrestling and wanted the steak. Needless to say, he loved it and ate every bite. My husband decided to get one too. Each got one medium rare with the mashed potatoes. Each said the flavoring was great and the steak was tender and juicy. While $40.00 may seem pricey, it was worth it considering we have paid upwards of almost $60.00 for less quality. I had a salad that was great in size. It packed full of fresh vegetables and was quite filling. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good quality food. Service was also great! read more

We dine here at least once a month, and the atmosphere is truly one of a kind. Every waitress we've had has provided excellent service, and we've never had a bad experience with the food. Their menu offers a wide variety of options to suit any mood, and the food is always cooked and prepared to perfection. We have two young children, which can sometimes make dining out a bit stressful. However, Rocky River caters to kids as well, providing them with their own silicone plates and cute cups! Our latest waitress was fun and friendly; she even let my kids choose their own straws, despite being super busy. She still took the time to interact with us, which we really appreciated. The bathrooms are clean and properly stocked. We love this restaurant and will continue to support them! read more

Honestly we always enjoy our meal but the food is priced way to high. It looks high end but the food is just as good as any diner. The zoodles lacked any flavor. Pulled pork and Mac came with nothing else, no salad or bread... for $19. The prices make me feel like we should get a salad and fresh baked bread with our meal. Holy Snap Crackles!!! This was hands down the BEST Rueben I've ever had! They smoke the pastrami in a smoker out back and it is sooooo scrumptious. The craft beer choices were also on point. The Neapolitan milk stout was divine. read more
