    Meat lovers Pizza

Love this place. Every time here, I'm always greeted with a smile and good vibes. Kind of a key to starting any dining experience off on the right foot! Upper Crust is your typical pizza joint with better than your typical pizza. I almost always get wings and a side of meatballs as well. Coming in during off hours it's super chill and quiet. It can get busy during rushes and when sporting events are going. Always a good time either way. It's a top choice for me!

Dinner lasagna special and house salad (not pictured)

I found the lasagna dinner special was delicious. Portions were generous with a large house salad and garlic bread. I would definitely order it again.

Great food, a few too many veggies on the pizza personally, gotta top them with more cheese if ur gonna put that much so they all stay in place. Cleanliness can be prioritized a bit more if youre asking me. Ranch was good, but strange, had bubbles coming up slowly. Perhaps it was just made. Some tasty stuff on the other hand, would reccommend

Just a chill guy waiting patiently for his favorite pizza ...

We love coming for the lunch specials! Such a great combo which includes pizza, salad, and a drink for a great price. My son is very picky about his pizza sauce and he loves upper crust pizza. Staff is always pleasant and the place has a great atmosphere .

They were busy for takeout at 6 pm on a Thursday! I had to call a few times to get someone on the phone and even when I got someone, I was put on hold. This tells me how popular this place is. Took about 20 minutes to make. Ordered the "All Meat" pizza, which at first appeared small compared to other medium pizzas but was thick and packed with meat and toppings. More filling than I expected. Different types of meats made it yummy and savory. Also ordered the antipasto salad, which was a delicious appetizer. It comes with the olives and nice meat skewers!

Very impressed I haven't visited since the 90s. Very different from the last time I visited in very good way! Shift on staff provided great costumer service and was very professional and polite. Our meal was properly prepared and handled delicately. Enjoyed the meat lover pizza and garden salad. Dinning room and ambiance on a Sunday evening was filled with family friendly patrons. Very well maintained resturant erupting to well superb visit with the family. Highly recommend a visit it!

This is my first time placing my order on the Upper Crust Pizza website though the Door Dash.com app on my IPhone Xr tonight. I wanted to eat Italian food tonight for my dinner time meal. I placed my online order on the Door Dash.com app at 6:08 p. m. My order is as follows: 1 x Baked Ziti it includes (3 types of cheeses, marinara sauce and a spicy seasoning) mixed into this sauce. I added the one Ground Beef Meatball it was an extra charge . The price was $14.48. Then I also ordered 2 orders of the Garlic Bread it was 4 huge pieces that was lightly seasoned with garlic and parsley and that had butter baked into this toasted garlic french bread rolls. The price was $3.98. I also ordered a 2 liter bottle of soda pop. My selection was the Sprite flavored soft drink. The price was $4.50. I didn't order a dessert this time. I also ordered one side of the Marinara Dipping Sauce. The price was $1.10. My subtotal was $24.06. The delivery fee was a zero charge because I am still a Dash Pass Member and this delivery fee would have been $4.99. The service fee was only $1.20. But this service fee would be $3.61. I am still currently a Dash Pass Member I received about an $6.20 discount off this total cost on my first order I placed tonight on the Upper Crust Pizza website. The tax was $1.98. This dasher his name is Dean, his tip was already chosen for me on their Door Dash.com App website which was $6.50. That is a higher priced tip. I agreed to pay this tip to make sure that Dean would accept my order and he will deliver my order to my house on time. I only had ordered (5) Items today. My total cost came up to $33.74. This total cost was charged to my visa credit card account tonight. It had taken (one hour) for the Upper Crust Pizza Restaurant to prepare and to cook my Baked Ziti and the 4 pieces of the Garlic French Bread. Then I received a text message from the Door Dash Company and they told me that my order has been confirmed by the Upper Crust Pizza Restaurant and that Dean my dasher driver will pick up my order soon and Dean will deliver my order to my house at the estimated time at 7:08 p. m. tonight. Dean did deliver my 5 items food order to my home at this promised time of 7:08 p. m. tonight. Dean handed me these 2 packages of my order and he smiled and then he left my home. I had to reheat this container of the Baked Ziti with the one ground meatball and I also reheated two pieces of the toasted garlic bread french rolls. Then I sat down to eat my dinner meal. This Baked Ziti was really delicious with these 3 different types of melted cheeses it was so good with the marinara sauce and the perfect amount of spices in this Italian dish. I dipped the 2 pieces of the Garlic Bread french rolls into the marinara dipping sauce it was a perfect sauce with a tangy flavor. I poured myself a glass of this cold Sprite soft drink which was very refreshing and a great tasting soda pop with my dinner tonight. I was very satisfied with everything that I had eaten from the Upper Crust Pizza Restaurant. I also received excellent customer service from Upper Crust Pizza and also from the Door Dash Company. I would definitely order from this Upper Crust Pizza Restaurant again but next time I would like to try their Pizza.

Ask the Community - Upper Crust Pizza

Do they have gluten-free pizza crusts? (Ones NOT made with cauliflower as I can't eat that either.)

Yes, we have two gluten-free options. Our standard GF crust is made from rice flour & the second option is cauliflower.

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes. Ends at 6

    Did they close?

They are remodeling... I don't remember the date they said they are going to reopen but it's before 2/1.

I was soooo excited about the Philly connection, as I'm very familiar with cheesesteaks having lived near Philly in a past life. Well, I was sorely disappointed. We were told that the bread is flown in daily from Philly. Well, I don't know where it's coming from because it's definitely not the same bread as what they normally use there. The sandwich and meat were dry and flavorless. Totally underwhelming unfortunately. So then we saw that they made key lime pie there too! Again, I was SUPER excited because key lime pie is my favorite dessert of all time. And again...disappointment. I took one glance and saw that it was light green in color and knew I was gonna be mad. Yall, Key lime pie is yellow. You should NEVER add food coloring. That's just gross and inaccurate. The texture and flavor were also off. Texturally it was way too thick and dense, which would have been fine if it actually tasted like key lime. But it was severely lacking in that tart key lime flavor that it's known for. I'd definitely go back because of the service and vibe. But I'll maybe try a burger and the cheesecake instead.

Really? Or even more depending where you go. Frankly I don't know how anyone can afford it any longer but that's a different story. The new owners still don't even seem to know what they are doing after I would say 3yrs now, maybe even more since taking over this place. I used to love going here, now I go maybe once every 3 months if even that and I know why. The service is not the same, the owners are clueless and the food doesn't taste the same at all. The atmosphere of feeling like you are at home when most everyone but mostly the owner remembered you, would come talk to you, helped you and knew what she was taking about, is all gone. I was there yesterday for one of my favorite sandwiches, meatball sandwich. I like that the meatballs are small, not a size of a baseball or even larger, just perfect size, tasty etc. I go up to the register and instead of his clueless wife when you ask her a question and she looks at you as if you're from another planet then has to go and ask one of her employees which that in itself looks totally bad, this time was her husband who looks to me for now the 4th time through the year I visited, that should just stick to staying in the gym since he looks like someone that takes care of himself that way, quite fit, and although nothing at all with that, perhaps leave the deli part of it to someone else and go back to working out instead, it seems his forte. When I told him the sandwich I wanted, he clearly said to me "what would you like with the sandwich" a question I was never asked before because it simply came with a small bag of chips or pasta salad, so I asked what did the sandwich come with, "it comes" the word that he used "it comes with", not "extra charge" and he mentioned French fries, bag of chips while he pointed where the chips were, pasta salad. I said, "I'll try the French fries". Not ONE TIME he said to me that none of the items he mentioned to me were extra charge, I even told him, "oh they come with all that you just told me"? He said yes. When I paid the total came to $24 dollars, the sandwich itself was $13.65 and a coke that I ordered was $3, how did it get to $24? Well, the French fries were extra cost. Had I chosen a bag of chips, the once he pointed at were also extra charge just like if I ordered pasta salad, I found out about the extra charge from the lady that brought me the sandwich and I asked why my bill was $24 dollars, SHE, not the owner told me about the extra charges. After I said to her, "why didn't or doesn't the owner tell you so instead of saying that these extras come with the sandwich" she looked at me and said "I don't know". She didn't even know however any of the prices of the sandwich they sell. These are the new employees now. I know you are going to think why I didn't ask right away why my bill was $24 dollars. I didn't even think about it immediately, I was hungry at this point, the place was quite busy and I wanted to find a place to sit, no excuse, but didn't think about it right away. Not until I set down and then started thinking about why my bill was higher. That was my fault. I should have immediately asked and actually I should have gone to the owner afterwards and mentioned to him that he should tell the customers correctly, meaning do NOT SAY "IT COMES WITH" that means IS NOT EXTRA CHARGE. He needs to say that wherever we want with it, there is an extra, then up to the customer if he/she wants it or not. The sandwich did not taste like the way it used to taste, meatballs still small but they were very salty, and the fries although I will say cooked pretty nice, crispy and all, a very small portion and also very salty. Overall and sadly for me because I truly liked this place a lot with the previous owner, it's not a place I would go back to. The prices are as high and now higher than any other place nowadays, nothing spectacular, their bakery department is now very limited, used to be huge and very nice selections, they used to have a pastry chef in the back that made the best deserts, and I don't know if they also changed cook, but nothing tastes the same. The place is always very busy, so I am sure I won't be missed, I won't waste my money here again. The new owners should by now know what they sell, know how to interact with customers better, know the job they took over. The owners before were absolutely wonderful and great to talk to, they would interact with you ask you if everything was ok, great service from the staff. I miss them and the new owners really need to step up, it's time. The place also very dirty on floors, tables, trash cans totally disgusting and filthy.

For our first appetizer-type courses, we ordered sliced sourdough with butter and roasted cabbage - both great options. The roasted cabbage ended up being my favorite part of the dinner. It was like a Caesar salad on a juicy, tender cabbage spear with a slight char. I felt like I definitely needed to order some bread to try some element of the bakery. We got another taste of the bakery because we also ordered pizza from the kids menu. I snuck a piece and that was great. We ordered two main courses: one pasta dish and the other was a braised rabbit with morels. The pasta dish was fine but my wife and I weren't planning to share it. We had to share it because the rabbit dish took so long that I had to cancel the order. It was unfortunate because I was really looking forward to that. That was one inconvenience. The other hiccup was they didn't have any beer available because of a cooler issue. They had really good beer on the menu too, so finding that out after I ordered was a let down. I entertained ordering wine or a cocktail afterward, but passed. We were sitting by the bar and the cocktails they were making looked really good. With those issues, the manager spoke with us and sent us home with a slice of lemon meringue pie to rectify. We appreciated the gesture and the service we had all night was good. I'm sure this place gets 5/5 stars most nights. It's a super cool place inside and out.

To my surprise Water Shack's burgers were delicious and satisfying that I find myself coming back here ever so often. Their burgers aren't the heavy, greasy/high fat patties you would get from other places. However, their 1/4 lb patties are their smallest patties and heft makes for that ideal bun to burger ratio. Did I need to order double patties on most of my burger orders? Probably not. Their patties are on the leaner side but they aren't dry; and the fixings from any burger you choose will satisfy that meaty burger fix you're looking for. The Chicken Patty Melt is also a very tasty item. Very cheesy, buttery and crispy toasted bread with chicken breast. Their fries and onion rings also come air-fried so this place focuses more on the healthier comfort food options that wont leave you feeling heavy and drowsy.
