Love this place. Its one of the few spots left where you can still get a delicious and filling lunch for under $10 thanks to their 2 slice combo. Be warned though, once you try a slice, you'll be hooked and will be coming in regularly for a nosh. Sometimes you may just pop in to see what the specialty slice of the day is. Then one day you'll realize their sandwiches and pastas are also really delicious and a great value and start taking some out for dinner sometimes. And then suddenly, before you know it, you'll ordering meatball and ricotta pies for delivery from your bed on lazy Sundays and happily eating it all day. Decided to try this place on the recommendation of a colleague. Called at 10:58am and happy they answered the phone before their stated opening time of 11:00am. I ordered two 18" pizzas which totaled $56.83. I was told the pizza would be ready for pick up at 11:30am. The person sent to pick up the pizza sent me a photo she took waiting in the lobby at 11:57am. I called the restaurant and asked for the status of my order. I was told it was picked up. I told the man I had someone who said they were still there and reminded him that I was quoted 11:30 and it was almost 12pm. The man on the phone became defensive and said that it "was a busy day" and they were "making pizzas.' He added "The food left, it looks good" and said he "didn't know what else he could do." He offered no apology and said "All I can do is try to do better next time." Good service is equally important as good food. This was not the right attitude to have when addressing a customer concern. 30 minutes late with no apology or offer to somehow make it right on a future visit? There are PLENTY of other Pizza Places in Oceanside we will choose from. Update: the food was awful. The pizza sauce itself was good but the Crust was extremely dense and dry very hard to chew through. the cheese pizza was very Similar to Costco pizza (which also a lower quality) read more

Good food, bad service. I went in there and the worker with the glasses told me it would be just a few more minutes after I called it the order on the phone 20 min before. I was the only one sitting waiting for my food while the other worker with longer hair was just messing around with what seemed to be his siblings at another table. Overall no one asked me again if i was waiting for my order and I sat there waiting for 20 min inside, later taking home cold food. Don't know what happened but we used to love the calzones with lots of fillings. Got an eggplant calzone (9/8/24) and it was almost empty. Sure there was some eggplant, sauce and cheese in the middle, but the ends were empty. Called and spoke to Mike who made it insisted that's the way calzones are. So let me tell you about this place that I tried out. So first off I didn't have high hopes for this place, especially when I called and a kid that answered said "hello what's up?" and when I asked about something on the menu he said, "dude I really don't have time, it's super busy." So I just assumed it would be downhill from there, but I really wanted to try the place out. So I still ordered a couple of pizzas, an order of wings, and the meatball appetizer. I will say all the food was really good to be honest. Some of the best pizza in the area for sure. The same could go for the meatballs, but the wings were just OK. However, with all that being said, beyond the lackluster customer help, when I went to pick up the food, apparently they thought more was ordered and the bill came out to like $140, which is wild. So, upon asking the girl at the front about a potential refund, she had zero clue how or what to do. SMH So can I recommend this place? Yes, kind of. The food was really good, but apparently, whoever is in charge maybe needs to do a better job of training on the customer service aspect, because it has been a while since I visited a place with such poor service. read more
