Been wanting to try this place for a while, as a coworker recommended it. Decor was interesting and there's arcade games for the kids, wings were good. Pizza, not so much. It lack flavor and was bland, it was weird because it looked delicious but just fell short. The tall guy that worked there was not friendly at all, seemed like he was annoyed to be there and just made it uncomfortable when ordering and when he brought us the food. We had just arrived from out of town and were hungry, so we decided to give this place a try. We arrived around 3:15 p.m., and it was fairly empty except for a couple of people at the bar. We ordered two pizzas for our family of five and got some change so the kids could play games while we waited. Unfortunately, there weren't many games, and about half of them were broken. Each game costs $1, and we lost $3 to machines that didn't work. They also tried to play air hockey, but the table wasn't blowing any air, which made it impossible to play. After spending time and money on the games, we sat down to wait for our food. Nearly an hour later, after watching several people come in, eat, and leave, we asked about our pizzas. We were told that our order ticket had been dropped on the floor and never made it to the kitchen, so our order hadn't even been started. When the pizzas finally arrived, they were underwhelming and didn't make up for the long wait or poor experience. Overall, my impression is that this place is poorly managed and has more of a dive bar atmosphere than a family-friendly pizza restaurant. Miguel was polite and knowledgeable and my fam of 4 ordered something to satisfy each of us. 10 alien wings (5 original which means buffalo and 5 bbq). Came with carrots and ranch. Best wings I've ever had. I got the bbq ones. Wow. Meaty and perfectly cooked n tossed in sauce. They have someone who makes the bbq and man it's truly deliciously done. 100% this place is my wings place. I wanted more but was full. Next time. Can't wait. Garlik cheese bread. Kids loved. Large cheese pizza. Good with their ranch, be sure to ask for some. $53.23 We all ate well and had over half a pizza and half the garlic bread left. So much fun to see, impossible to see all. My family loved the San Marcos location, and for the sake of nostalgia, since the other closed, we trekked to this location and were sorely disappointed. Super-bright location, so the theming is less immersive and the memorabilia is sun-damaged. Football was on, so no music was playing, and the vibe was off. One of the two front-of-house people was kind, but the other was downright rude. He acted put out about taking our order and looked at me like I'd asked him to recite War and Peace by heart when I asked questions about the shirts they have for sale. We tried to play air hockey, but one side kept eating the puck and not reproducing it. When we told him, he stalked over, wordlessly and dramatically switched it off, and turned on his heel. We were surprised when he came back with a dollar to refund us. Most of the games and prize machines were out of order. Most had signs, but we discovered many others that weren't working, and I was so turned off by the employee that I didn't care to let him know about the rest of the machines that were failing. This has become more of a neighborhood beer joint than a family place, and the theme doesn't even matter as a result. Furthermore, the pizza is bland, so it fails on every level. read more

Came in here randomly and was surprised with how fun the theme of the restaurant is! As the name indicates, the theme is Mars and everything space. You can find toys and huge model statues of Star Wars, Mars Attacks, and other space movie decorations. The man at the front counter was super friendly and answered all our questions about pricing and flavors of different pizzas. We ended up buying "The Killer" in a medium, which is basically a supreme pizza; it was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. We ordered takeout and it was my first time trying this place. I was hopeful, even with the confusing decor (it was cute and fun to walk around and take it all in while waiting for our pizza though - I must admit!). We waited by the cash register for 10 minutes before someone came out to help us. We told the gentleman who was to take our order, that we were first time patrons. He expressed his appreciation and was friendly. I asked a couple questions about the "aged cheese" to which I was told it is no different than the other cheese. It was a Monday so there was a deal where you buy a large, pay medium pie prices - buy a medium, pay small size prices. We ordered two mediums - the total still came out to nearly $40 dollars for both pizzas. Based on the taste, I felt this was over priced. There was nothing special to it - bland as far as pizzas go with limited toppings. It was also overcooked and the cheese went only half way up the dough. I like their salad (their ranch is great!) and they have local craft beers at reasonable prices, BUT it's unbearably hot inside during the summer -- especially July - September. It's always been like this. It's so much hotter inside vs outside (probably because of the pizza oven), and there's no outdoor seating. We went the other day, as I hoped they'd finally gotten AC, or at least had gotten fans since it's been 87 degrees the past 3 weeks, but nope. Been going here for years! Something has changed. We ordered a large pizza with ground beef, cheese, olives and pineapple. The crust is burnt! The toppings we so scarce we had to pick the very thin toppings up to see if there was any cheese or ground beef. A couple olives and a couple pineapples pieces were thrown on there. It is a little difficult at times to call in a pizza and have it ready for pick up as they don't answer the phones much but if you really want it which you will want it - doesn't take much to drive to killer pizza, have yourself a beer while you wait for that amazing pizza and bomb ranch . This is a 3 star review because of the staff, otherwise I would make it a 1 right now. The staff here is generally very warm and friendly and the space vibe is fun and unique. We have been regulars here since they opened but are questioning our return patronage. While I love our four legged friends, the restaurant/pizza place, is not conducive to having dogs (not service animal), in the restaurant. There are often children running around and playing and I have seen several dogs in the dining area, unleashed, in the carpeted area. I am pretty sure this is a health code violation. As well, the A/C has been out for about a year now. It can get miserably hot in here for the guests as well as the staff. read more

The employee at the counter took an unreasonably long time to help me, showing no sense of urgency or care. After finally taking my order, he informed me the pizza would take 45 minutes to make. What makes this worse? The restaurant was completely empty at the time there was no crowd or rush to justify such a long wait. The complete lack of efficiency and basic customer service is unacceptable. If they can't handle a single order promptly during slow hours, I'd hate to see how they operate when actually busy. We're giving this place about a 3-star review. I come here all the time with my daughter, almost every other day. However, today I questioned their pricing and it made no sense. A medium pizza normally costs $26, but on Thursday they have a "buy one medium, get one free" special--and somehow the total comes out to $31. I simply asked about the price difference, and instead of explaining it, I was asked to leave. That's disappointing, especially as a regular customer. Still haven't voided the charge or given me a refund. Why would you be accepting orders if your business was closed for an emergency? UPDATE: Business responded saying this was out of their control. But be warned, I used the website and ordering link that is associated with this business's information listed on Google. Businesses DO have control over this information and can verify its accuracy by creating a profile, specifically to ensure that their customers don't have issues like this or fraudulent charges from some rando on the internet. There is also a law in CA to prevent third party delivery services from listing a restaurant without their consent. It's sketchy that this business has done nothing to address this issue, but has plenty of time to respond to Yelp reviews to blame a customer for not knowing that the official website linked to their business was incorrect. I'm ordering a pizza not launching an investigation. Poor customer service all around. read more

I had the opportunity to try this pizza restaurant in Oceanside called Killer Pizza from Mars. It has the cool sci-fi alien vibe. It's a great place for families to bring their kids. There are video games and fun things to do. As for the pizza , it looks and tastes amazing. I bought large meat lovers. There was plentiful meat, cheese, and sauce. Got a pizza here yesterday because my wife and I were craving it. Timing was perfect for picking it up hot. I appreciate the guy at the register correcting the price since the guy who answered the phone messed it up. The only problem I had was the my pizza was LOADED with jalapeños and we didn't ask for them. I did realize they were on there until I got home and it's 13 miles/30 minutes from my house. As a guy who loves pineapple on his pizza(I know), it totally ruined and hid that flavor.
