I came to try the pizza because I'm Brooklyn for life. The name said Brooklyn so I had to come try it. The pizza is really good. I gave it a 4 because it's not as good as a Brooklyn pizza but came close. I think it's just missing a little bit more flavor. There's a flavor you get from NY pizza that you get even after eating the pizza. This is much better than a lot of places in California selling NY pizza. They sell by the slice too. They have indoor seating. Quiet setting. The staff are friendly. I would definitely come back

Wow! Perfectly crispy I went in a little early for my pick-up order and had a slice of cheese while I waiting and wow... sooooo good! Everything a slice a cheese pizza should be and the server was so nice! The Sicilian was really good exactly the crisp yet fluffy slice I was looking for

Food: Only tried their Pepperoni pizza so far. All I can say, DELICIOUS, Good proportions and didn't seem like they re-used grocery frozen toppings[see my comment below] Service: Friendly, welcoming, Very professional. Ambience: Great location, has their own business address location, clean, has clean seats. Good lighting. Overall: HIGHLY recommend. Also, they didn't use grocery frozen toppings unlike that pizza spot up in Capistrano[pizza spot located INSIDE a restaurant called LUNATICS or something similar to that name.. w/unprofessional owner]

Having worked in Brooklyn for a long time, I know what authentic Brooklyn pizza tastes like. This place serves a solid Brooklyn-style pizza, and for Oceanside, it was impressive and delicious. I ordered a white pizza with veggies, and it was genuinely excellent. I'd love to try other slices, but they didn't have any other pies ready at the time, so I went with what was available. I'll definitely return another day to explore more options.

"Get outta here...and go fck yourself" is something you may hear in Brooklyn. Not Here. Dan and Clan are west coast sommeliers of hospitality. Pizza 10/10 just like the hospitality. Do the grandma/sicilian square...outta the park good

Delicious pizza! Crust is spot on. Toppings just right. And cheese is amazing! Service is quick and helpful. Plenty of room to grab a quick bite for a few people. Still a favorite to eat when I'm in the area. By the 78 and 5 freeways. Recommended to friends and family

GROSS bathroom - dirty - empty toilet seat cover dispenser - empty hand-towel dispenser - unflushed toilet - did I mention DIRTY?

TRUST THOSE WHO YELP REGULARLY... So many pizza options out there, so we were excited to try Brooklyn Boys near home. Our first observation was a handicap parking space (ideal for my mother) directly in front of the restaurant, yet no ramp for access to the sidewalk (see photo). Once inside the gringy-looking establishment with an apparent drunkard at the first table, we noticed a young girl behind the counter along with an older couple. Realizing it's likely just a money-producing franchise, we looked for a menu. The ONLY menu available (per the elder man) is the one taped to the front window. He suggested we step outside to read it from the sidewalk. Since my elderly mother is on a walker, I stepped out, made a choice, returned to the counter, and placed an order for a $30 pizza pie . Let me cut out the fluff... - gross restroom (see photos) with no seat covers, empty hand-towel dispenser, etc. - table seating in the storage area, or vice versa (see photo) - disgustingly stained seating (see photo) - no table service - pizza was "unsatisfactory" - the $4 Coors Light in a bottle was good I will NOT be surprised if a health department closes this place down and finds rats living inside. NOT RECOMMENDED... even for take-out

Hard to find good pizza by the slice in north county. This one is definitely the best I've tried. $4 for a slice is reasonable too. The crust in thin and crispy, and the toppings are so flavorful! My favorite is the lasagna pizza, which has Ricotta cheese and ground beef. I hear they are under new ownership, but I can vouch for the pizza slices, very very good !

It was also my first pizza from them. I ordered the Salsiccia pizza which has a sweet fennel sausage on it. The sausage tasted homemade. Perfectly seasoned. Incredibly gritty and had hard pieces of something in it that we had to spit out. The ravioli pasta was good, the stuff in it was truly disgusting. Again so bad all this time we've chosen other places to dine because of that one dish and whatever hard things were in it along with that gritty finely grounded chicken. So anyways the rating now is for my experience now. The above is just why it took me so long to try this place again. Service was great! Over the phone so nice and in person welcoming and friendly. Great staff here. Blonde is who helped me. Another dark haired lady even asked if I'd been helped and even with her serving was willing to help if I hadn't yet been helped but I had been helped so no need. Super great two ladies. Thank you both. Just had to wait a short bit for my food and to pay. $30+ for it. I had a bday coupon of $5 and $7 still on my account from all that time ago. Lady stepped in to put those discounts. Wonderful! The bag of my food was so light I looked inside because seemed nothing was in it. But it has my to go food in it so off I went. We live super close and got home, opened it but it was just warm. Not hot. Odd but well I was able to eat it right away. The sauce was oily butter tasting. The cheese on it tasted like plastic and the dish was missing the prosciutto sadly. Inside the pasta and the pasta itself was yummy! Sad the sauce was oily butter, no other flavor but oily. The pasta was smaller than before, still only 5 pieces of pasta, at $30+ for this ouch! Even after my discount $20+ was still not worth it. Bummer. The other time I had this dish it was all so good, the sauce and prosciutto etc. I am not saying we won't ever return, service is great. Looked over reviews, yes it's cramped inside and you are on top of others unless you get the booth, so I recommend the booth. We enjoyed our dine in experience time ago, only the chicken ravioli was gross, the soup was just ok but the rest was great. After today's experience I won't be repeating the tortellini. Maybe calamari and pizza next visit, but pasta portions n flavor lack too much to attempt other dishes. Just my thoughts. Again great staff!

I needed food for a last-minute backyard wedding for 40 guests with only three weeks' notice, and he made everything so easy and stress-free. He was always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and gave me so many menu options--even offering to customize dishes beyond the menu. We ended up with an incredible spread: antipasto, chicken piccata, salmon, salads, two pasta dishes, vegetarian-friendly options, pizza for the kids, and cannolis for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. Angelo personally delivered everything right on time, hot and ready to serve, and even provided serving trays and utensils which made presentation simple and beautiful. There was more than enough food for everyone, plus plenty of leftovers. It may have been a simple backyard wedding, but the food was anything but simple. We ordered Brussels sprouts for our appetizer. It was pretty standard. We love Brussels sprouts so it was good but it wasn't particularly crispy and was very basic with just salt and pepper I believe. We enjoyed it but felt it wasn't worth our money because we could make something similar at home. For our mains we got the carbonara pizza and the papardelle bolognese. The carbonara pizza was not exactly what we were expecting. We had envisioned a creamy carbonara sauce with Parmesan on the pizza but instead there was just fully cooked egg on top. We also felt that the topping to cheese ratio was off. We preferred less cheese and more toppings. The crust was thick and if you like thick crust you may like the pizza they have here. The papardelle has good flavor but the pasta was a little bit overcooked. Overall, we felt that this restaurant was average hence my rating. We felt that the value of the meal was not as good as some other places we've been to in the past. We likely won't return and I don't think I would recommend this place over others.

Our waitstaff was headed by Kap & he did an excellent job. Told us to check out the happy hour menu since it was almost over, so we could get appetizers in at a reduced price. Ordered the calamari (crunchy, yet tender), bruschetta caprese (piled high with mozzarella & basil & chopped tomato), Caesar salad (crisp greens with a garlicky Caesar dressing), meatballs (2 large in a marinara sauce - so tender). They also have sliced warm bread on the table with olive oil/balsamic or butter. The drinks were perfect - nice and chilled and crafted perfectly. Kap also made a great recommendation on a bottle of wine. The menu has changed though. Some of our favorites have disappeared... (seafood risotto), so tried other dishes. Carbonara is so rich & creamy. The pizza margharita was cooked perfectly with a nice crust, but was a little lackluster in taste (not enough cheese maybe?). I did order a side of pesto to add some flavor. The lobster ravioli is always great here, so 2 people ordered it. Added chicken to the vodka penne (grandson's plate was completely emptied). Also had a fettuccini Montanara. Everyone but the grandson had leftovers to take home, so servings more than adequate. Kap really made the dinner perfect. Attentive without being over-bearing & making great recommendations throughout. Will definitely be back.
