The staff is usually helpful, and turnaround times are pretty quick. However, my last experience was really disappointing. I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.

I was just at the limit of my one year warranty, so I sent it in and they put in a new screen for free- a manufacturer's factory warranty job. The FedEx guy just returned it, and it looks great. They also sent their best tempered glass screen protector. I figured, "I've got a new screen and a high-quality protector; let's go get a pro to install it." So I called SF Smart Wireless, and explained that I had a new factory screen and a new factory screen protector. Could they install the screen protector for me? "Sure we can." "Okay, I'll be over in a little while." Here's the "Professional" job the guy did for me. He told me, "You can see some bubbles when it's turned off, but they aren't as visible when the phone is turned on." I guarantee you, the bubbles are visible when the phone is turned on! "Some bubbles???" I've got 34 bubbles on my phone screen now, and I've only had it back from the factory for an hour! This is my day off. I've got things to do. I've been transferred back and forth between att and Asurion nonstop trying to get this settled with no luck. Somehow they have the color of my phone and imei number wrong. When the correct one item it changes the other and this has happened over and over again and ive processed and canceled over 15 claims over the past 3 weeks. Asurion is trash. Their customer service is outsourced and they just give you the run around. DONT PURCHASE ASURION INSURANCE ALWAYS GO THROUGH THE PHONE MANUFACTURER INSTEAD. Imagine paying hundreds in penalties for a defective experience that the store itself admits is "normal." Meanwhile Costco and Amazon manage returns without punishing customers for faulty products. Lesson learned: Best Buy's policies are stuck in another decade. Shop elsewhere.
