They were able to complete this in half a day and I picked it up next morning. Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! Big thank you to Andrea for her prompt replies to my questions and Carlos for ensuring that the techs knew what needed to be done!

Instead of just shrugging, the technician downgraded the iOS version on my phone to one that actually worked and that *allowed* me to sell the hardware *I* paid for. I was asked to wait 15 minutes, wound up happily waiting 45, as she was clearly working to solve the problem. Again, she didn't give up, just started running the checklist, and this Graybeard with 30 years in IT appreciates that. The shop itself is in the Capitol of Sketch, 24th and Mission, but like all "scary" neighborhoods in SF, it vibes a whole lot worse than it really is.

A sincere thank you to Evan at Mobile Fix for his outstanding service in repairing my laptop's fan…read more He showed me the issue and clearly explained and demonstrated it to me. He ordered the fan, which arrived within seven days, and was able to fix the problem within a couple of hours while also assisting walk-ins. During the wait for the fan to come, I was able to take my laptop home to use if needed, although Evan advised that I limit usage to no more than 30 minutes at a time to prevent overheating and use it only for essential tasks. Additionally, Evan is a conscientious person. I left a gift that I received from my nephew at his store. While Evan was away for the weekend, he coordinated with his mom and me to ensure I could pick it back up. Lastly, the recommendation for Mobile Fix came from a Costco Warranty Support person who, based on his review of about 10 businesses on Yelp, ranked Mobile Fix highest for three reasons: 1. Business longevity, 2. Hundreds (not fewer than that) of reviews (positive), and 3. The absence of paying for positive reviews in exchange for a discount.

After the battery replacement, the phone could no longer turn on the same day. I was told to come back the next day to pick up the phone. Unfortunately, the store was unable to restore it. I tried to resolve the issue directly with the store, but we could not reach an agreement. What was especially disappointing was the owner's response. Rather than taking responsibility as the store owner and addressing the damage caused during the repair, she asked the employee involved to cover my loss. I felt bad for the employee who was put in that position. In my opinion, this was very unprofessional and disappointing customer service. I would not recommend this repair service. Zero star if I could do that.

Yes, no cellphone for ten days is unfathomable. Stopping in a little after 1 pm, I saw a couple guys with T-Mobile shirts on. Ivan greeted me and I explained my situation. I have been on the phone for hours and they made me come into this store to show them the photo of the deal TMobile promised see photo but no one in the store or in customer care would honor it. After 45 min of waiting Adyson told me to go home and just let me know what he can get. Well two days later he said he can maybe get me a $10 credit per month what?!
