    Incompetent, time wasting, ignorant customer service. To summarize, they have been telling my mother that something was wrong with her IPhone 8, but the problem was on their backend. It took my mother 3 months talking to different agents for them to figure it out. So, my mother stopped having cellular data on her phone. She could only use it with Wi-Fi. She brought it to the Geary location and then twice to the Van Ness location. Everywhere, she was told that she has to change her phone. Finally, she decided to switch to iPhone 14. At the Van Ness location, Denise was helping her. First of all, when they were figuring out how much she would pay per month, Denise forgot to mention that there is a $35 upgrade fee. Art, the manager, later told us that everyone knows that. Ok, whatever. After my mother switched the phone, we were making sure that everything was copied ok. The new phone was on Wi-Fi. Thank God, my mother realized that she has to turn off Wi-Fi to see that there is cellular data. The data was not there. So Denise realized that she has to do some work instead of giving go away messages and called their tech support. Turns out the issue was on their end. We asked whether the old iPhone 8 would work now. Of course, Denise did not know. She started doing a refund and copying back data to the old phone. Yes, the old phone was working now. Denise, presented as how great T-Mobile was able to resolve the issue. We have spend 3 hours there not to mention all the time my mother has wasted before. We asked to speak with the supervisor, and Art came to us. He was as little help as Denise though trying to overwhelm us with details that made no sense. He gave my mother $50 for her trouble. To Art, that was good enough. Avoid T-Mobile. There are plenty of other vendors that are cheaper like Mint Mobile with better customer service like AT&T or Verizon. They are bored at T-Mobile, they don't care about existing customers, and they show you on every occasion that they would like for you to go away.

    Such great service and all the extras offered with signing with T-Mobile, I brought my friend who switched too. I had T-Mobile until early 2010 and they still didn't have the iPhone- so I switched carriers. A change was overdue so I made it. The Geary store didn't make it easy (and it's ***not a corporately owned store) but here at the Van Ness and Pine location, it is corporate and they have their act together. Now everything's working perfectly and I'm enjoying crystal clear connections, 5G, free wireless on planes and all the extras they threw in like free AAA, Netflix and hardware upgrades every year (or two, I forget!) Anyway, it's great here, ask for Ed at the Van Ness location.

Since they seem to handle a lot of corporate-scale installations, I initially wondered if my project might be too small--but that concern disappeared pretty quickly. The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Huge thanks to Justin and John for their precision and quality of work, and to Jim and Rodrigo for their thoughtful recommendations on equipment and access point placement. If you're looking for a team that combines technical expertise with professionalism and genuine care, I'd absolutely recommend them.

The quote we received for 3x cable runs was 400% more than the team we hired, and that team said their pricing was "average pricing." We also were quoted the highest end hardware, which would have been excessive for our needs. If you can afford to shop around and the timing of your project allows, we highly suggest shopping around!

    I can't thank the folks at Total Computer Solutions enough. I needed a full retrieval of my data…read moreafter my external hard drive became unresponsive due to damage. I'd been using the hard drive to store ALL of my data after I had this same issue years ago, only with my laptop. Needless to say, losing absolutely everything I have saved is my worst nightmare. I worked directly with Gabe who could not have been more friendly or offered better customer service. He responded to my project request right away and we communicated regularly via text. Gabe answered all of my questions, big and small, throughout the whole process, and communicated clearly and thoroughly (I consider myself to have a basic/intermediate level of understanding technology, but am no expert). What I really appreciated was the transparency given with price quotes, and found that their prices are very reasonable for the service. Since I don't live nearby their shop, I took advantage of the free Uber service they provide to have your device picked up from and delivered back to you. I was incredibly hesitant to give my device, with all of my data on it, to an Uber driver, but Gabe assured me it wouldn't be a problem and that he had means to handle if anything went awry with the delivery. Thankfully this wasn't an issue. I don't know of any other company who offers this service, let alone at no charge. I am delighted and relieved to say that Total Computer Solutions was successful at being able to retrieve almost 100% of my data - the few irretrievable files ended up being not very important to me anyway. They also hold onto your data for 3 weeks post-service as a precautionary measure. I am so grateful I found Total Computer Solutions and now consider myself a loyal customer should I ever need their help again. Thank you, Gabe & the Total Computer Solutions team!

I was informed by another interested and helpful 3rd party that I might need toner and that I already had two cartridges behind my office door next to the vaccum cleaner. Bless their heart, they remembered and now I know! Total Computer Solutions is a good value because they told me up front that they do not provide the service. But I know who can... I know once I get toner installed I will have 50 duplicate print jobs from repeatedly smashing the Print button. Scratch paper right?????? Yeah, I know

    Fastmetrics has been critical to our continued operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. With our…read morenew FM phone system, when Shelter-In-Place was issued we were able to pivot literally overnight, to have the majority of our staff working from home the next day. Staff simply took their desk phones home, plugged them in to their routers, and got back to serving our patients without missing a beat. We are a mulit-office pediatric practice. Families rely on our call-center receptionists and our telephone advice nurses. In Feb 2020, we eliminate our relationship with our old phone service (one of the giants) because the cost was criminal, and the service was poor. FM was very hands-on helpful during implementation, setting up our new equipment, phone queues and autoattendents exactly how we asked. Then in March, the world changed. But our staff adapted immediately, largely thanks to our new FM system. With care-giving staff in the office, and everyone else at home, our internal and external communication continued seamlessly. And most importantly, we were 100% there for our patients to reach us, even during the most trying times. Fastmetrics has truly been a game-changer for us.
