What a saver during pendamic! I accidently inserted sim card into my iPhone 10 when my new iPhone 12 promax arrived when I exchanged the sim cards between 3 phones. Since all Apple stores are closed in SF now, the Apple technical support suggested going to a repaire store. After research on Yelp and talked to all the owners, Easyfinder is the closest store knows how to do it. And Easyfinder is also closest store near my house. Eddie was very helpful, he solved the problem after 30 minutes working. The phone is back to normal again. Now everything is back to normal. I'm sure the previous reviews are relatively outdated. I went to the store with my parents yesterday because I just wanted to them to have their own choices of their cell phones. One of the employees, Sandy, greeted and assisted us. She is very knowledgeable and patient explaining to my parents the features and difference between phones and data plan. I was surprised how patient she was as I'm not a patient person. :-) She took time to go through some of the main functions for the phones my parents chose step by step. Customer service is always the key and that's what I'm looking into it. I didn't get my phone there, but I have no problem coming to this place again for an upgrade or getting new phone. This is place is totally illegal. I personally got this place checked out by the SFPD and SFDA. Now, they no longer can offer contracts for AT&T. Here's what happened: So back towards the end of 2009, I came in to renew my AT&T contract. 2009 was still in the era where smartphones were not as popular yet, and import phones were still popular. They advertised that they can get me the Nokia 6300-s for free if I renew for another 2 years. Good idea, good upgrade, so I agreed. They then told me they had to photocopy my credit card and driver's license. Sounded fair, since they would be the 3rd party opening up the contract for my phone line, so I agreed. What happened next is where it became downright illegal. Long story short, they: - Pretended to be me and went to Wirefly.com to open up 4 data plans under my name - Proceeded to order 4 Blackberry Torches and had them shipped to me ($200 x 4 = $800 charged on CC) - Closed the data plan on the very next day (Early termination fee $300 charged on CC) - Then went to Amazon and ordered another Blackberry Torch ($150 on CC) Total charges that I realized after a week when checking online: -$1250. Not surprisingly, I had a large "wtf" face on, and my mouth dropped large enough for a D cup to fit into my mouth. Previously working at Wells Fargo, I knew instantly this was downright illegal; they were doing identity fraud. I contacted them, and they told me they would reimburse me. Another week past, and the Blackberries came. I went to the store and asked the same HK lady on what the fat fuck was going on. She takes out my Nokia, and says "ok, now we trade for the phone." What. The. Fuck? I gave her a speech on how this practice is illegal, I never consented in letting them use my information this way, and how the contract never stated that they will as well. She looked blankly at me, then said, "do you want to trade then to complete our deal?" NO I don't want to "trade!" Take the fucking Blackberries, I didn't want to have anything to do with this Nokia phone anymore and this "deal." WOW this dumb bitch man! I contacted their manager when the bimbo finally called her manager, and he offered me money to "settle" it. Alright, this is where it became unethical, but when was it ever in the first place? I literally laughed, hung up, and left, telling the hk bitch she'll be hearing back from the authorities soon. I ended up contacting AT&T, SFPD, and SFDA. They opened up an investigation on them, and just this week when I passed the store, I notice the logo "AT&T" is no longer there. Personally, I'm surprised this establishment still exists. read more

Bought 2 galaxy S5, both of them died within three months. The most hilarious part was the day I went to the store for repair, and they charged me 35 dollars international shipping fee because those cellphones were from HK???? Also,I had intention to add one more phone line to my account, and I asked their consultant to help me with that. The exact word he responded :" we only take care with customers who want to do 2 years contracts with us. No one give a damn about you if you only want to add one phone line." I'm like wtf??????? DO NOT EVER COME HERE!!!! I brought my phone in for repair and they said they have to send it to samsung and it'll take about a month so I agreed. So a month past and I called but I always got the run around. Soon after I called samsung and gave them my IMEI number and was told my phone was not there. I finally showed up to ask where my phone was and they completed ignore the question. They didn't tell me how much it'll cost to fix and after 7 weeks I finally got it back and they charged $120. I found these guys first in their San Bruno Avenue store and then started going to their Taraval store because it was nearer where I live. The people in the San Bruno Store are very helpful - and the people in the Taraval store are the same. The owner is a young guy who is just very friendly and honest - and I guess he just hires people who are like him, who area also going to be friendly and helpful with the customers. The owner and the people in this store have given me very polite and friendly great service. They have been patient with me in helping me find me the best SIM deals and have done phone repairs for me and other people I've recommended go there because I've always had a great experience in there. When my iphone 5c screen broke I came here because it was advertised cheaper than anywhere else I could find. SPOILER: THE PRICE ADVERTISED WAS WRONG FOR THE IPHONE 5. My LED was fine it was just the glass, and they charged me $70. However, after calling around, this was still as cheap as anywhere I could find. My parents have never used smart phones at all. The employees in Easy Finder are so patient to teach my parents how to use it. Went there to upgrade my phone and was told I will get the new iPhone XS shipped to my house within a week. One week passed and still not get my new phone yet. Called them to follow up, they said they haven't even touch my request yet. When you step into the store, do not expect a smile or hello. I had no idea where to begin. There is no customer service provided at this branch. The two girls (one of them is Ms. Watt) offer unprofessional services. They made a lot of mistakes and they were not sorry for what had done and not done. They tricked me into purchasing the plan with "free phones" while there is hinted fee with the rebates. I hate hinted fees and I asked particularly if there will be any fees. Ms. Watt said no. After the rebates, the phones will be free. As a result, the bill shows $100 less than the actual rebate. Either she tricked me purposely or she is lack of the product knowledge. As a customer, I deserve more professional services. I would not recommend this branch at all. The one star goes to the boss. However, with such employees, they have to change their attitude and to be trained with more in-dept product knowledge. read more

I opened the account in sunnyvale location and the customer service was very good. they told me to pick up the phone in san francisco location and the customer service was bad. if you don't speak chinese, don't go. they look down on people who do not speak chinese. I had bill problem since my 1st bill and never get resolved. I did not get the discount every month ($15 per month) and addition to $300 cash back rebate after 4-6 months.
