I waited to review this place, but this is my third visitation and I can confirm that this place is terrible at service of any kind. Two packages awaiting and as instructed by left memo, my packages would be available for pick at this location with address and hours listed on back. As it being a Tuesday opening hours is 9am. Before heading to work I waited in my car till about 8:58am before walking up to the door where another gentleman was already waiting. 9:05am door still locked and now four people waiting in line. I knocked on door several time with no answer. Several more minutes pass I decided to call and no answer after many rings. Ironically the two lady's behind me also called which a little funny. It was now past 9:15pm and I decided I'd walk to the back of the building where there postal vehicles are to check if I can get anyone attention. To my surprise there they were more than a dozen employees just hang out as a food vendor was serving breakfast. Of all people it was the kind food vendor lady than asked me if I needed something and I said yeah! Can someone open the door . She looked and called at one of the Postal workers just standing next to a vehicle asking if they can open up. Let me tell you she looked so disappointed and could have cared less to open for business. Body language and facial said it all. I ran back to the front and entrance of the building and one of the women had already left as she had to go to work. 9:27am the doors finally opened. Inexcusable as it seemed like we the customers in line was an inconvenience. Hopefully you are home at your initial delivery instead of a reroute to this destination. read more

Good for nothing office. Do not go. You can't ship out anything here that can't fit in a normal blue mailing box. All you can do there is put your address on vacation mode and that's it. Waste of resources. read more

I actually have only had good experiences at this location. I think perhaps people are disappointed because they show up thinking this is a regular post-office, but it's not a "full service" usps. Shout-out to Sandra who was super nice and helped me out when I came! Whenever I have packages on-hold, or I have a "Vacation Hold" ending, I have to come here to pick-up, and I never had issues with packages getting lost or anything. A week or 2 ago, I had a Vacation hold end, and I did not receive my back-log of mail that day, so the next day, I came to this location to pick up everything. Sandra checked in the back, but didn't see anything, so she told me the mail carrier would likely end up delivering my stuff that day since he was already out on his run. She even gave me the phone number for the carrier in case i didn't receive it! Sure enough, I ended up getting my back-log of packages that day, so it all worked out. Thank you Sandra! read more

They constantly deliver my mail to the wrong address. Just this week we never received a package that said it was delivered to a person at the home ?!?!? Uhhh none of us were home smh. And now they have delivered my Real ID to some stranger WTF !!!! These people are ridiculous and should be held accountable for these mistakes. Worst Post Office we've ever had. read more

This is the worst usps I have ever dealt with. They always have an excuse for their inability to properly do their job. Unorganized, moody, and unprofessional. I have yet to meet someone on staff that is useful and/or pleasant. They ALWAYS fail to redeliver my packages, and I just know, they forgot to hand it over to delivery person but conveniently have an alibi. I have to go in person AGAIN to pick up my package myself tomorrow and am dreading it. read more

Had issues with a package because of how the company I bought from printed the label. I went in here to see what was up and I believe the man's name was "Dan" who helped me out. He added a note on the package and also when I called back later to get an update, he remembered me and had made sure that my package was included on the next delivery. Trying to track a package and they tell me the carrier just left it on top of the mailbox where it's available for anyone to grab. My mailbox along with probably 50 other people is located inside the garage. Anyone who drives in and out could just grab the package. They need to inform this particular lazy carrier to either bring package back or drop it off in front of the door. I'm not saying all carriers are irresponsible but this particular one was when he/she just decided to leave my package out in the open for anyone to grab! They need to inform and remind the carriers that don't know or are just plain lazy to be more responsible when handling other people's property that they are delivering to. read more

I was told by my mail carrier that this is where my mail come out of to be delivered. I have had more mail and packages lost thru thus post office/annex than any other place I have lived. I put a hold on the mail and they still delivered it! My neighbor saw this and picked up my mail for me. When I returned home the mail didn't show up. The next day it didn't either. So I contacted the USPS and filed a complaint. My mail showed up the following day. Two weeks later... I get a knock at my door. It's the postal carrier showing me a piece of paper. He then asks me when I am going on vacation. I tell him I went and came back 2 weeks ago! He shook his head and apologized. He said that the person/dept.that fills out the form for the hold mail didn't have any DATES in the spaces provided on the paperwork! I wasn't mad at him...but I could tell this was not the first time this had happened to him. The annex USPS on Bellflower is a joke! They need to go in there and clean house and put some people in there who give a damn! No wonder the USPS is going down the tubes. read more

The most unprofessional establishment. I was expecting a package and was keeping an eye on it's tracking progress every day. On Saturday, I got an update saying that there was an unsuccessful delivery due to absence of addressee... I WAS HOME ALL DAY! THERE WAS NO KNOCK ON MY DOOR! There wasn't even a slip in my mailbox telling me to pick it up!! The people that makes the deliveries do NOT care about anyone's mail on 5050 E. Garford St. We've even had an employee tell us that they refer our street as "East Dorm" due to it being mostly populated with college students, so they disregard everyone's mail. There was also an incident where my sister and I had put our mail on vacation hold and it was still delivered to us. I highly suggest that you keep track of any packages you may be expecting and use FedEx or UPS if you're able to because USPS is not reliable! read more

I was out of town and submitted the online request through the USPS website to hold my mail delivery and pick-up after we returned from a 15 day vacation. When we arrived at the post office after our trip, our mail was not there. Eddie, at the front desk, rambled some excuse and just told us to check our mailbox when we get home. Our mail was never held for us and I still don't know at this time where it is. I asked to speak to a manager and he said "they cannot be disturbed." What a gross establishment. read more

I got there around 4:20 to pick up a certified letter. I looked around and saw no one. The sign for customers to ring the bell was not visibly displayed. I looked and looked. Saw no bell. Called for a worker by saying hello. I could hear them laughing and having a personal conversation. Then I heard someone say ring the bell instead of saying hello! What bell? The bell that is displayed on the wall without an arrow for customers who have never been there to see? Oh that bell! Not the usual bell on a table to hit when someone needs attention. Waited in a line of about 6 people for 20 minutes without anyone helping us. Multiple people showed up and left. Rang the bell several times and then finally called to which they responded they will be there in a little. Multiple employees have been extremely rude and not helpful at all. read more

Very disappointing! Not really sure how some of them have a job. I've seen a couple of them speeding by Carver Elementary weekly. I've also was handed notices that I wasn't home to receive certified mail, I went there the following day and no one could find it. This place is ridiculous. I got there at 9:40am. It opens at 9:00am. In a 20+ minute period I rang the doorbell 7 times! Another customer can ein after me and rang the bell too! (1 of the 7 during my time there). The other customer called and someone said they'd come to the front. We waited. Nothing. I rang the bell AGAIN. Nobody. And minutes later somebody came in at 10:03am and mentioned that his shift starts at 10:00am and nobody was there to cover before him. (He was obviously confused why someone hasn't come up to help the window.). During that time, not one person came to the window to say anything to me. Not one time to anyone even yell over the wall to acknowledge me waiting. It's warehouse type of setup so the wall that separates the front from the back doesn't go all the way up to the ceiling so you can hear them on the other side of the wall. RUDE. If this place isn't made for customers then don't open it to customers and direct their mail to an actual post office! read more
