When we first told this vet Lonnie symtoms he had said down the road they would scope his nose. They just swabbed it and that night my Sophie had seizures and passed. After his first seizure we took him to a great animal hospital and they put a scope through his nose and there was a huge mass that he would not make it through surgery. They threw in an extra $700 for us to pay and took no responsibility . Please do not ever go to this place. Maybe for grooming but no vet!!!

Support your local business!…read more Service is amazing: welcoming, friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. Prices are actually average and comparable to some online retail stores (sometimes even cheaper!). I like the proximity and diversity of the products (most of them are very high end, high quality) they offer. The store is divided in 3 parts: cats and dogs in the left building, hay and livestock in the middle (outdoor) and farm accessories, medicines in the right building. They offer delivery services as well. Plenty of parking. Recommended!

I simply asked how long my dog would be until pickup. If the answer is anywhere from "1 hour to 3 hours or more," that's fine, just be polite about it. I understand there may only be one groomer and that they're busy, but as a customer, I booked an appointment and am trying to plan the rest of my day. I have errands to run and would appreciate a realistic estimate without the attitude. Waiting isn't even the issue. If someone had told me nicely that they were backed up, I would have been completely understanding. What bothered me was being made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking a simple question. And while we're at it, the constant pressure around tipping doesn't help. Tipping is meant to reward good service, not compensate for poor customer interactions. Had the experience been more pleasant, I likely would have tipped more generously. The groomer may do great work, but customer service starts at the front desk, and unfortunately that's where this experience fell short for me.

Their toucans and parrots were spectacular. Yes the store is noisy but the birds seemed very lively and happy. They had huge tortoises as well and some fun reptiles too. I went with my parents and my little girls (2 and 3 years old) and we all had a great time. The owners seemed to know their animals and I wish them well in their plans to build a larger educational children's zoo here in North County. I agree with Stephanie and definitely recommend this place.

They're called Rainbow Mealworms and yet they've been OUT OF MEALWORMS for more than six months.. maybe the should rename the business? lol Supposedly, it's because they can't get carrots and grain to feed them?? Each time there is a problem with a single item in my order. One time the nightcrawlers all came all dead. Another time the hornworms came all moldy and dead. They did replace the items each time. Recently I got a promotion on line to my e-mail that people can earn points for different things, one being their birthday. We both can document how many times I have ordered, so when I asked about my birthday points I was told to put in my birthday into their system. I did, and they refused to give me any points because they said it was too close to my birthday (the reason they sent me the details of birthday points in an e-mail) They refuse to give me any points unless I give them a copy of my ID or driver's license. They can see how many orders I have made. I find this very petty since the points value is under $5. Their customer service is awful. If they do not want to give birthday points they should not promote it. I have decided to get my worms somewhere else. I might try again in January when my birthday points may be posted. Until then, I will buy my worms elsewhere else. To bad their customer service is so bad.
