Their toucans and parrots were spectacular. Yes the store is noisy but the birds seemed very lively and happy. They had huge tortoises as well and some fun reptiles too. The owners seemed to know their animals and I wish them well in their plans to build a larger educational children's zoo here in North County. Recently I got a promotion on line to my e-mail that people can earn points for different things, one being their birthday. We both can document how many times I have ordered, so when I asked about my birthday points I was told to put in my birthday into their system. I did, and they refused to give me any points because they said it was too close to my birthday (the reason they sent me the details of birthday points in an e-mail) They refuse to give me any points unless I give them a copy of my ID or driver's license. They can see how many orders I have made. I find this very petty since the points value is under $5. Their customer service is awful. If they do not want to give birthday points they should not promote it. I have decided to get my worms somewhere else. I might try again in January when my birthday points may be posted. Until then, I will buy my worms elsewhere else. To bad their customer service is so bad.
