She used to just do his nails but I've advanced him to let her groom him and she did a great job as well then I put his dirty collar on him and had to use their self wash a week later lol. I've only been here once, but had such a pawsitive experience (get it?!) that I had to give them a Yelp. We were getting sammiches next door at Dominic's (they're delicious) and needed the dog's nails cut. The wife got the food, I took the girls to get their nails trimmed. The ladies that worked there were super friendly and took really nice care of our pups during their trim. They got the nails SUPER short without hurting them. Bonus was, $5 for small dogs and no appointment necessary. We were in and out within 10 minutes. We'll be back for sure! read more

Staff are Ok. The groomer who handled my 2 small dogs was nice. I don't like their crate set-up. Rusted, bent crates stacked on top of one another are not what I call "professional". Sorry. The groomer who handled my Weimaraner was average at best, she did not clean his ears or clip his nails. I had to clean him again when I got home after spending $40 to get him groomed - very lame & very disappointing. The 2 small dogs were groomed by a different groomer and she did a good job. Overall, not a fan of how it was set up and run. I watched a poor husky pant in his crate for 4 hours straight without a bio break before getting groomed at the last minute before his owners showed up. Not cool. Needless to say, I won't be back. Had I not been vigilant with my Weim (who will not be crated), he would need doggy mental therapy after that appointment. read more

We have been using Pampered Pets for 6 years, and love their care and service. You need to book about a week in advance, because they are always in demand. My dogs are elderly, one is blind and both have bumps and lumps on their skin related to old age, which I never have to worry about getting nicked or injured because all the groomers are gentle, professional at their craft. Whenever we arrive to drop off or pick up, there are dogs in various stages of the grooming process, and none ever seem overly stressed. The dogs themselves are a testament to the care they receive while at the shop. Everyone is friendly, efficient, and take the time to really know your dog. I've had flea problems with mine, and rather than call to shame or judge, they are always helpful in advising what works and what doesn't seem to work for them and other clients. They don't try to up sale or peddle products which I so appreciate! They know their stuff, and it's obvious. They groom all breeds and sizes, fancy cuts and also the purely functional. Took my 2 small dogs a couple of months ago for a last minute grooming. I usually take them somewhere else but they were super busy that weekend. Upon picking them up, 1 of my dog's eyes were swollen. They told me it could've been the shampoo they used that irritated her eyes or an allergic reaction. My dog does have sensitive skin so I left it alone. The next morning, my dog's right eye was still swollen shut and she still looked so sad. She didn't want to do anything so I took her in to see the vet asap. The vet put some eye drops in her right eye and it was instant relief for her. He stained it afterward & that's when he showed me the small abrasion on her eye. He gave me eye drops to put in it routinely & she had to wear a cone for a week. She was much better by her follow-up appointment. I contacted Pampered Pets and explained everything that was going on and I spoke with a young man who was very polite and he wanted to help but he needed authorization from the owner. They were very apologetic and comforting. I told them it was an accident and I'm sure it wasn't done on purpose. They seemed like they wanted to make it right. Well, the owner Jackie called me on a Saturday morning and refused to reimburse me for my vet bill. She was very rude over the phone and I was taken aback. She had the audacity to tell me if her groomer had done that with her scissors, it would've been much worse than just an abrasion! No apology or anything. I really hope she doesn't have any interactions with your loved ones because she doesn't have any compassion or sympathy. It's just really sad because the vet bill was less than $200. I've mentioned it to all my friends and family, posted it on my social media and I'm now warning everyone on Yelp. Thankfully, my dog is much better. We love Pampered Pets! We have been coming here for four years now. Our little maltese, Georgie, isn't the easiest to deal with. He is very energetic, not very comfortable with strangers, yelps a lot when he is alone, and doesn't like his face and feet being touched. This makes grooming a challenge for even the best of groomers. Needless to say, the team at Pampered Pets never disappoint. They cut his hair perfectly and trim all the hair around his face without any issues every time. They are very patient and caring with him. Georgie is always energetic and happy when we pick him up. Terrible Groomer. Quoted us $45-55 on the phone for simply shaving our dog and then when we arrived insisted on $75. When I suggested splitting the difference in price the manager refused to even shave our dog. Also, the extremely rude Manager tried to tell us our dog was an Old English Sheepdog when it was absolutely a Bearded Collie. Many other excellent choices for groomers in Fallbrook.
