My little shihtzu is older. She goes in wagging her tail and comes out wagging her tail. That's all I need to know. Lisa has been super responsive since the first time I contacted them last year through yelp. They do a great job. Full bath, glands, nails, cut is $50. It takes like 3-4 hours. Street parking is available right out front or on the side streets. Across from Bagby and Vital on PCH. read more

I was SUPER nervous to drop my Willow pup off somewhere i had never been before, with someone i had never met. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted & Willow was off to look like a new pup. Willow is a shih tzu X yorkie mix, who has VERY long, thick hair. I asked her to cut it pretty short, which she did! Two hours later i was told i could come pick willow up. Wow, i definitely left with a new pup & it was great She looked wonderful!! She can actually see now She even came home with a cute bandana & a bow! We will definitely be coming back!! read more

Local Business Owner here and wanted to leave a Review! I work in the Pet Industry as well not too far from their salon, and I just want to say that the owner of Tails A Wagging has amazing character & integrity. Good hearted people are rare! But it is a blessing when you find them. To own an animal, is to be a parent responsible for our hairy soulmates. When you love your dog as much as I do. You want to know that the person who has your baby is a solid loving person! Ill take that over anything this day and age! Keep them tails wagging Guys the neighborhood loves you! :) read more

My Dog loves Tails a waggin! The staff goes out of the way to earn a 5 star rating! I have been using Tails a Waggin for 8 years now and am always happy. while I have a poodle, his tail is not cut and he is far from a fu fu dog, lol. But he comes home with silly bows in his ears. He goes ballistic when I tease him about bow in his hair and we play for an hour u til he gets them out. We love Tails A Waggin! read more

We LOVE the gals at Tails A Waggin. We've been taking our Schnauzer-Poodle mix here for a few years now. They always do such a fantastic, thorough job. He only has one eye, and they manage to create a wonderful custom-cut around the missing eye to hide it's absence. Most people don't realize he is only one-eyed until we tell them. Sammy loves Tails A Waggin, we couldn't be happier with their services. read more

Took my dog in for a nail trim. He walked in nervous with his nose down and tail between his leg. She sat right on the ground with him and cut his nails quickly, and he was giving her kisses by the end. Super impressed! Didn't think he'd let anyone cut his nails. read more

Tails A Waggin - Thanks for taking care of our girl! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Oceanside, California

Disappointed after asking for a "light" cut on my Labradoodle. I I was told the longest cut they could do was much shorter than I wanted and that they didn't do "hand cuts". I wasn't asking for anything special, just not a severe short cut that she had given my other dog. Been going there several years - don't think I am an unreasonable customer. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

We had a great expereince here. Took our King Charles Spaniel who is definitely not a fan of getting grommed and everytime we have taken him they do a fabulous job and he seems fine. They cut him just as I directed. They also have a great drop off area in the back so I don't even have to get out of the car with my little girl. Also very afordable compared to other places we tried before. The ladies are really nice. read more

Lisa was able to get my dog in the same day. He was really shaggy & needed a cut bad. She did exactly as I asked and was done on time at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back. Thanks Lisa! read more

Tailsawaggin is great!! Denise & Lisa really love what they do and you feel it as so as you walk in the door . I appreciate how kind they are to my spoiled dog Kush he is happy to be there to get groomed. The price is good deal but, it's the kindness & the outstanding job these ladies do that keep me coming back for past 5yrs now read more

I found this place by accident while at the Urgent Care next door. I decided to give it a try without checking reviews. I am so happy I did. I used to go to Petsmart and the girl there did a great job but it was so big and my dog had a lot of anxiety. She did much better with this gem of a place and Lisa did a fantastic job grooming her. It is a small place and you get really good personalized service. I highly recommend these lovely ladies. read more

I think Lisa and her crew are the BEST! Kai is my 2nd dog that I've brought here. The grooming is very professionally done and the people who work there are so friendly. They are very affordable and do a complete job when grooming. I always recommend this place to whoever I meet who is inquiring about a groomer. Not only does Lisa do excellent grooming, but each year she has supported our TCMC "Tails on the Trail" dog walk with a certificate for our opportunity basket without hesitation. That really shows me that she's not only a great groomer, but she loves animals and supports them in any way read more

Their are great I'm so happy to have found this place I will never take my dog anywhere else they are very good with with any dog breed you feel welcome as soon as you step in the door they are great, give him a chance and you'll love it as much as I do. They will put a little bandana on him when you're ready to pick up which makes them look so adorable. read more

Today was my dog's first visit to Tails A Waggin. I couldn't be happier with the services they performed. Denise and Lisa were so friendly and treated my baby like she was their own. Most importantly, Berry came home happy as can be. That's how I know they really care and treat their "customers" well. I will definitely be bringing her back. Thanks ladies! read more

Our toy poodle has been getting groomed by these two talented women ever since he arrived in our family at six months of age. That was back in 2006! As a poodle, if he isn't groomed every four weeks, with a haircut every few months, he'd look like a sloppy overgrown slipper! Instead, he looks gorgeous, thanks to their caring and expert grooming skills. I wouldn't take our little guy anywhere else but here! read more

The best dog groomers I have ever met! they follow your directions exactly. They have very good auras about them which is important for dog grooming they try to accommodate your dogs as best as possible to make them feel at home and they treat them like they're their own I highly highly recommend these people! read more

My dog Bridgette just loves to go to Tails A Waggin. We have been using them since she was a puppy. When we drop her off, she is always so happy to be there. She just Loves Lisa & Denise and practically jumps in their arms. She is always groomed as requested. I especially like the fact that over the years we have had the same 2 groomers, which really get to know your pets. I have so many friends who get different groomers every time they go to the same location. You know what you are going to get...dedicated, educated, loving groomers. It is also nice that if they expect a issue with your pet they will let you know so that you can get Vet care BEFORE it turns into a HUGH issue. Five Stars all the way!!!! read more

I took my dog here for her first hair cut because she gets so hot in the summertime that she just needed to be rid of some of her coat. I took her in and she was terrified, but it was her first time and she was probably afraid of all the other dogs there. I explained what I wanted, the groomer verified that she'd understood, and I left. When I came back for my dog, the cut looked like she almost finished what I wanted, then quit. My dog was so ready to leave that I just paid and left. I wasn't real happy and the hours could be more convenient, but it seemed busy so I guess other people have had good experiences here. I'll try somewhere else next time, though. read more

I have known Lisa for over 20 years of grooming my dogs. She has groomed all my dogs. Why go elsewhere when you get perfection here. Prices are fair. Her employees are so sweet. My dog Cameo gets all excited when ever I drive near this place. We love Tails & Waggin!! You will, too. read more
