Our Aussie is very scared of being groomed and will not let us even brush him at home. Typically, groomers don't get far with him because of nerves leading to aggression. Well, I don't know how to Groom Room did it but our boy was groomed perfectly (he arrived with long, matted fur) and they were FAST! He wasn't waiting in a cage for hours (groom took less than 2 hours). We'll be back! read more

I have a 15 year old senior pup (Carly) who is partially blind, deaf and has dementia which makes her aggressive during grooms. It has been really hard finding a new groomer who will take her since we've moved here. Our priority was to find someone who is empathetic and is up front of what can be done and what was actually done. Most importantly, we wanted Carly to be as stress free as possible. Our last attempt in finding a new groomer left Carly so traumatized that we were nervous about this upcoming appointment. However, we were happy with Groom Room and their professionalism. We really appreciate Julie's efforts in grooming our dog and we are content with what was done given Carly's difficult behaviors. She was as happy as a clam when we saw her. Thank you guys so much! Highly recommend if you have a difficult dog who needs a little extra love and care. read more

Always makes my dogs wince in pain w nail trim.. deff not patient or kind... RUNNNNN... have you seen their prices? Ya.. Im not into paying recent groomer graduate prices or their mortgage. Instead go 1 mile North To Sydneys in Albertsons parking lot. 20+ years experience and she's the owner. 50$-80$ for a yorkie.. not this ridiculous 150$-+++ at the groom room read more

Decided to give this location a try since it's closer to home than our normal groomer. Was disappointed in the premium wash service we received. My dog has been shaking his head for three days now since his wash, and when you look in his ears they don't appear to be cleaned at all. They also shaved way too close on his fanny and now has an itchy rash. His paw pads don't look trimmed either. Won't be returning and will stick with our normal groomer. read more

Although this place gets booked up in advance, it is well worth it. My Australian Shepherd love is going there and they're even able to brush his teeth and he always just looks so beautiful when he's all done. Would highly recommend, service is great. they respond through text. They have an easy online booking after your first time and the prices are fair. read more

We have been coming to the groom room for a few years now and have always had a great experience! We have a very anxious dachshund and a super senior guy, with many health issues, which they have always treated both with extra care. We normally see Taylor and she always makes our pups look so great. We highly recommend! read more

We didn't even get to book here when we tried, the customer service was terrible and the girl at the front was cold.

I have been bringing my pug here since he was a puppy. They always go above and beyond to take such good care of him and he always comes back looking and smelling great. If they notice something off or of concern they make sure to let me know, infection in his ears or wrinkles... They are always excited to see him and more importantly, he's excited to see them! read more

My sweet boy has come a long way as a client here. The staff told me that it used to be a 2 person job to hold him down and trim his nails. We are down to just 1 person and he has grown fond of the staff! It's very convenient to have a pet store right next door. Well... convenient for my doggie because he usually walks out with a new toy and some treats:) read more

My dog is groomed at the Groom Room and always looks great. I tried the mobile grooming route, but they cut my dog and she needed stitches. My dog is very wiggly and scared. Taylor has done a terrific job with her. read more

Plenary of parking. Attached to wonderful pet store. Staff is friendly and place looks clean. Love the fact that is ala carte and prices are reasonable. Have used their services for several of my dogs. But last two time were very disappointing. Felt that the groomer didn't do a quality job in cut and nail trim. My daughter took her dog there and had similar experience. read more

Would like to leave a 5 star review but my goodness. The 2 girls in there today including the groomer that serviced my dog were extremely rude for no reason. They didn't even cut my dog per the notes and were mad I didn't like the cut they tried to do. Also the prices are now outrageous. Wasn't aware of the new price changes. It's sad to say we may not return here when this place used to be the go to spot read more

Great first experience! We have 2 frenchies both just turned a year old, I was nervous for their first experience at a professional location and didn't want to stress them out over it , the girls made sure to take extra care and give extra love to my babies :) said they did great and it was so cute to have them walk out with little bandannas after. ALSO their hair felt sooo soft for days after. read more

I love this groomer. The women working there are always so great with my fur baby. I have a schnauzer mix so I typically get a version of a schnauzer cut, which they always make her look adorable. Similar to some other comments, there are usually some areas that don't quite get cut and left long but I'm not looking for show quality for these reasonable prices. I appreciate the quick turnaround time because my dog is a rescue and gets super anxious. I used to take her to Petco which was a half day turnaround minimum. The Groom Room is usually a couple hours at most. Much better for my stressed out baby to come home quickly. She's always happy when I come to pick her up read more

The girls are great and do a wonderful job on our two golden retrievers. Brandy and Cali love going to see them.

I often care for variety of dogs. I recommended to this cuttie pie's mama that we should visit Groom Room by making appt with Taylor. There was almost two month wait. It was well worth it. Five Stars for overall service! read more

I have used Groom Room's services for the past year and a half. The grooming services itself are good however nowhere near worth losing your pet for. I dropped my husky off for her appointment and as I reached my car, I see my dog running through the parking lot without her leash and the employee I handed my dog to, running after her. This business in located in a heavily trafficked area directly near a main road with their doors propped wide open. I was able to get my dog who was obviously anxious from the heavy traffic and almost getting run over after a 10 minute chase. I understand mistakes happen however you can never replace a dog. Therefore, it is a big responsibility that this business tremendously failed doing so in this situation. I am very grateful my dog is okay however I cannot guarantee that would've been the case if I didn't see her running through the parking lot. The mishandling of my beloved dog at this establishment is unacceptable and terrifying. After the chase, I was not spoken to at all regarding the situation. No apology or follow up from the establishment until I asked for the manager Julie at the time of pickup. I appreciate the delayed apology and free de-shed service however it will never alleviate the panic of seeing your dog almost get run over. This may have been a once in a lifetime occurrence however should have never happened in the first place. Beware. read more

This will be my 2nd and final update. The owner Karen asked me many times what she could do to make it right, each time I responded nothing. She did offer me a refund, which I accepted. After 2 days of not seeing anything on my statement, I called her. I let her know I didn't see it posted yet and she said well, i saw your review and I'm not going to issue you a refund anymore. She said you have a vendetta against me and made it personal. She then basically said that if I took my review down she would issue me a refund!!! WTH? Really? That is not okay and speaks volumes about this business and it's practices. She claimed I was out to ruin her, etc. I will always fight for animals. Bottom line, my dog was muzzled after i told them not to and if there were any issues I'd be at the Starbucks In the same complex. Also, my best friend called to cancel Her appointment. Not because of my review, but because Lindsay wasn't there anymore. She was talked down to by Jordan. Jordan asked my friend if I was the one that posted the really bad review, and then went on to shame her by saying "well, it's a shame you're not willing to give anyone else here a chance." Really? She liked Lindsay, and shouldn't have to justify her reason for cancelling to anyone!!! Jordan also told my friend, when she asked if Lindsay still worked there, that it didn't actually matter which Lindsay, since they were both gone. Karen was upset with me for not giving her the chance to coach her staff. Well, I felt she had ample time. She should have called me Back the same day. That's what you do with very unhappy clients. I left her messages every day she was open and had to continue calling her back. She had time to coach her staff. I Mean it was her staff that told Me she was off yesterday. As a business owner, I would have thought coaching her staff would have taken precedence over anything. But, hey what do I know. The resort I managed had a 98% return clientele, and in other jobs, I have received many awards for my customer service. But, again, what do I know! I'm Just the customer, sorry I am just the ex customer. I did file a charge back with my credit card company, as I have no intention of taking my review and the 2 updates down. I won't be bullied into it. That is not good practice at all. Karen, I am Not trying to ruin you, that was not My intention, but it seems to be yours. My advice would be to listen to People and not cut them off to try and justify what happened. Because to the unhappy customer, there isn't any justification. And yes, you were extremely apologetic, after I had to Keep Reaching out to you. Maybe this all could have been avoided if you had simply handled this immediately. Making someone sit on their dissatisfaction with your company for days isn't good for anyone. Good Luck in the future. read more

We love taking Louie for grooming here! He always comes back smelling so good and looking so shiny and stunning! The staff is very kind and was patient with him and he's getting more comfortable with grooming now in general. Better yet it's next door to Carlsbad Pet and Feed so tons of goodies to choose from for after his little spa day. We are very happy with Groom Room and love the job they always do. Also love the cute bandannas we sometimes get afterward. Overall great experience and I highly recommend them! read more

Groom Room - Louie after his groom with his cute new bandanna! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Vista, California

Never the same groomer. Service is inconsistent. My dog's hair was butchered today after asking for a pants trim. Choppy and uneven in huge patches. It looks awful. Sadly we won't be back. read more

Groom Room is close to our apartment complex and next door to the feed store we like. We decided to try them out after taking our dog to petsmart for years. Our guy is a super nervous pup who tends to violently shake. I honestly was just hopeful that he would allow them to trim him eyes. They did an amazing job! Not only can he see again, he's so soft! He came home with a new spiffy bandana (which he won't take off) and he smells great! Not too perfumey! Honestly I really couldn't be happier with his service. Thank you! read more

My long-term groomer got injured, and I was very nervous about finding someone to replace her. The Groom Room groomers that worked on my two doodles performed magic. Their coats were silky soft without any gross, sticky shampoo residue. They smelled as yummy as new-born babies. Their cuts were even from side to side and definitely breed-appropriate. The quality of the grooming my dogs received at Groom Room is reflected in the price. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but that is my fault for owning two adorably cute doodles. read more

Took our dog here 3-4 times and it's been mixed results. First time was good but recently the dog has come home with dirty ears and bleeding nails. The staff is friendly enough but disorganized at times. The wait time can vary too. This most recent visit was an hour and 20 minutes for a premiere wash, no cut required. Also, be aware there is no AC in this building and on a busy summer day it gets hot in there. I don't think I would really recommend this place, but I do like the adjoining pet food store. They have self wash that I will try out and just have someone else help with my dog's nails. read more

My husband was contacted by Julie the manager after my review to touch base about the appointment. She had time that day to try and fix the cut. My husband and I were both unavailable but my mom took him in. They were able to even out his hair cut and trim him down shorter in the body. This rating update is for the follow up service and appreciation for fixing the uneven cut. read more

We love Groom Room! I've brought my Penny in every few weeks since they've opened. Penny has been groomed by Julie and by Jordan on multiple occasions and each time, she's looked squeaky clean and well taken care of. They even place a bow in her hair or send her off with the cutest bandanas! Julie, the manager, is super sweet and very knowledgeable about different dog breeds and their coats and what's recommended. I always recommend this place to everyone I know and all the ladies that groom here are great! read more

I had my dog Alvin groomed a week and a half ago I will say he looks fabulous from what he had looked like before. The groomer did just what I wanted I wanted a modified German clip done on a multi-Pooh mix which is fairly hard because he's not a poodle. I gave four stars because I wasn't pleased with the price, but I understand that my dog was not easy to groom as he was severely matted AND DOES NOT LIKE TO STAND (annoying) even still I used to groom as well I'm not sure if an over 100 groom for 18 pound dog is appropriate? Also his ears were not plucked and cleaned. In any case I am grateful My little guy was able to be groomed thank you all who were involved in making him look like a gentleman. read more

The staff here are so wonderful! I have a senior pup and a new puppy. In all my experiences here, my pups have never been nervous to go back with the groomers and they always come back looking relaxed and not anxious at all. The groomers and workers here care about the dogs and about treating them well. In the past, I've used a different groomer and I'll hear my senior pup yelp- the groomer will say, "they're just scared, don't worry." Well, I don't worry about my pups at the Groom Room bc I've never heard my girls yelp or cry out. I highly recommend this place!! They also have pretty good package deal options which seem very reasonably priced. :) read more

My Scout always looks amazing thanks to Taylor! I highly recommend Taylor! She is very good with my pup and an outstanding groomer.

One star because of Julie's attitude. My fur baby was in their care and I called to communicate my late fee. Instead of me being able to talk to her like two grown adults Julie kept cutting me off and would not let me explain what was going on. I was willing to pay a fee but not willing to pay for her services and receive such an attitude. I regret referring your services to others. read more
