I loved Paris! I took my little miniature dachshund here because I really needed his nails trimmed but he also was suffering from dry skin & flakiness from having fleas & ticks previously. I found her because I wanted a local groomer close by. I called her and left a voicemail asking if she needed certain proof of vaccinations, she got back to me as soon as possible. She was available within the next day and I took Kayo in at 9am :) I filled out some paperwork for him, met Paris, and dropped him off. She does this amazing technique where she meets the dog for the first time and takes time to bond with them. I've never seen this experience before, but it was very helpful because my little guy is shy and anxious. He was scared at first but she took the leash & tried to hold him. She was extremely patient with him and took time to pet him, which surprised me immensely because he's not that friendly to strangers. She took about an hour & a half and called me when he was ready. She was very flexible with payment options since I had my Mother-in-law pick him up while I was running errands. She accepted payment virtually by Zelle, which made it less stressful & painless since I wasn't there physically to pay. She's very trustworthy and sweet. I called and asked how Kayo did and she said he did great! He usually gets nervous when getting his nails trimmed but he liked her a lot. She has good energy and even my dog can feel it. Paris runs a fantastic pet spa in vista! I told her before I booked, that I had a big Bernese mountain dog who is just a friendly giant and sometimes might need extra help getting into a crate. When I brought my big boy in, she came out to meet him and have him get familiar with her. I've never seen any other groomer do that! They normally just drag them back terrified and throw them in a crate (causing stress and anxiety for our pets). Not only did she do that but then she had her son David do that as well. I just moved here a few months ago and was looking for a groomer to utilize. Brought my cat in for a nail trim, wash and dry. Paris is very friendly and definitely cares about the pets. However, the work performed did not met my expectations at all. My cats nails were cut appropriately, with him washed and dried as requested. However, he was not rinsed out well at all. 2 days later and my cat is still grooming himself as the shampoo was not rinsed out well at all. I will be giving him a bath today to get the rest of the shampoo used off of him. Then, when I was told the price, I almost passed out. $95 was the fee to cut my cat's nails, wash and dry. Unfortunately that is significantly higher than previous groomers, I have used in the past. I have paid $60 at the most and then I tip them $10. When I asked why the price was so high, I was told cats are a higher risk for them to cut but my cat was only washed. I did stay with my cat for the fist 30 minutes of the process and was told to leave as he was so good. I would not consider him much of a risk at all. I do take some responsibility for not asking the price ahead of time and no prices are posted in the shop either. I am subtracting 1 star for the pricing I paid which was outrageous. Subtracting 1 star for not posting prices or disclosing to a new customer that they only accept Cash, Checks or Cash Apps. Subtracting 1 start for not washing or rinsing my cat appropriately. 1 Star for being so frustrated with the whole process for the last 2 days as I felt like I did my cat a disservice bring them here. I will look for another groomer or spend the money on materials to groom at home in the future. read more
