They always take such wonderful care when clipping our difficult pups nails. The corgis quick is so close to the end of her nail it makes us nervous to cut them and she absolutely hates it and our other one is so skittish. This was a completely different experience from my last visit. The woman with the tattoos was very rude and standoffish--both with us and with my dog. During check-in, I clearly asked for just a haircut with a noticeable difference so I wouldn't need to come back in a month. Instead, she went way overboard and shaved my dog nearly down to the skin. To make things worse, even though I specifically said I only wanted a haircut, they did her nails, ears, glands, and gave her a bath--none of which I asked for. I'll admit those parts were done well, but the one thing I asked for was completely botched. I used to feel confident bringing my dog here, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. read more

Really awesome self-service dog wash! The woman at the front was attentive and informative when I first got there. She welcomed me and gave me a quick tour! For $17, they supplied: a bathtub with running water, a leash to hold the pup, shampoo, towels, brushes, puppy cologne, a dryer and ear cleaning supplies! I live 40 minutes away and called this morning to see details and was never told on the phone they only accept cash and didn't see it listed on yelp. I went in and was surprised by this detail being that I had no cash on me, however they offer an atm machine. The machine was glitching and not letting me withdrawal from over 3 different cards and the only solution they offered was to go down the way and use a high fee atm machine. Honestly was just upset by the tattooed lady's blunt response to the situation and there seemed to be no effort of customer service. I can't say enough great things about Ceec and Dippity Dog! Our 15 year old Rockee (Yorkiepoo) is getting old and cranky, and he desperately needed a hair cut. He was super scraggly and very matted. We tried to take him to the groomer that we've been using for over 10 years and he absolutely wouldn't let them groom him. I was fortunate enough to find out about Ceec and her shop and booked him an appointment. I dropped him off with Ceec and she was so loving and kind to him. He wasn't shaking or nervous like he normally is at the groomers - I took this as a great sign! Nevertheless, I waited in the parking lot while she got a look at him and she said she'd text me if it looked like he was going to let her groom him. Great news - Rockee was letting her do it. I don't recommend this place, especially if they mention that your dog is matted and needs to be shaved. I should've read all their reviews because there is a history of this. After discussing my concerns and preference to not shave my dog completely with the owner, after she laughed at me for saying I would take my dog home and get the matted areas out myself, she convinced me they could take care of it without shaving him completely so I decided to trust her and leave the grooming up to the "professionals." Well shame on me... After 4 1/2 hours, I decided to stop by and pick up my dog even though they hadn't yet called to tell me he was ready. Mind you my dog is barely 5lbs, what could possibly take so long. Upon arrival they said he was ready and I wondered why they hadn't called me. He of course looked terrible because they completely shaved the hair on his legs and around his belly area. My family was very upset when they saw him and upon closer inspection we saw that he had multiple cuts on the underside of his torso and legs. He also had several areas that had been shaven so roughly, his skin was red and irritated. Then I realized, maybe they hadn't called me because they wanted the bleeding to stop before I picked him up. My dog has not been himself since his nightmare visit to Dippity-Dog and I only give this review to protect other dogs who might have a few matted areas and their owners. I posted a picture of my dog a couple days before his appointment to show that he was well kept and not matted to the point they had to shave him completely,what he looked like after the appointment, and the injuries he suffered at the hands of Dippity-Dog. We find he is constantly licking his injuries and we hope none of the areas get infected. Next stop, his veterinarian to make sure he will be all right and that he hasn't suffered other injuries. read more

About a month ago I was looking forward to bringing my Golden Retriever here because of the glowing reviews. I called in the morning to ask time and price for a dog self-wash--they close at 6:00 and don't take appointments but understandably want you to be there much earlier to allow plenty of time before closing. Got there at 3:10 pm to a note on the locked door stating they were closing early that day. Well, that was not a good use of my time and gas! Maybe there was an emergency but.....close the entire shop? So I drove 7 miles to another business with a dog wash facility and a wonderful staff. I got everything done there and have already been back a second time and that's where I'll go from now on. We've been taking our dog to this place for a while. There's now an entirely different staff. I picked up my dog and noticed his foot was bandaged up and he's was limping. One of the new ladies said oh sorry we just nicked him. I didn't think nothing of it and took my dog home. The next day my dog was still limping I thought it was because of the bandage so I took it off and noticed he wasn't nicked, THEY CUT INTO 1/4 OF HIS PAW PAD!!! Total negligence!! It has been an over 2 week of cleaning and reapplying new badges on his paw.
