Due to the pandemic, finding a groomer with availability has been difficult. I contacted Mojito's in May and lucky for me, they had a spot open. My wife and I dropped our shih tzu off a few days later for her appointment and then paid my brother in law a visit (who happens to live just up the street from Mojito's). An hour and a half later, I got a phone call saying that my dog was ready to be picked up. When I got there, she looked great! My wife and I were both extremely happy and we decided to make an appointment for our dog a month later. Just like the first time, my wife and I dropped her off and an hour and a half later, we got a phone call saying that our dog was ready. When we got there, our dog looked way different than before. When I picked her up, she was still wet and it appeared that her coat had not been brushed. No bow in her hair. Nothing. It appeared as if it was a rushed job and neither my wife nor I were very happy - especially after paying around $55-$60. After that, we decided not to return and are now taking her to a different place closer to our home that does consistently great work. My wife and I really wanted to like this place - especially because it was within walking distance from her brother's apartment. We were going to time the grooming appointments with visiting her brother but unfortunately, things did not work out. I don't like leaving negative feedback but it is warranted in this case. read more

Thank you Teresa for making Laney look so good! We heard about this place through a customer at work and we were so pleased picking Laney up. I was tired of spending $65 for our dog to be shaved down, something we could have easily done at home, and Teresa gave Laney a cocker spaniel cut which looks so cute and definitely worth the price! (Which wasn't too pricey may I add) Also note: Laney gets really anxious when it comes time to get groomed, so most places get annoyed with her and only do things half way- this was not the case here! I could also tell Laney felt more comfortable at Mojitos than the other places by the way she responded to us when we picked her up. She usually takes a whole day to to calm down and to stop shaking/ be on edge but it only took her a few minutes to settle down which makes me know Teresa took great care of her. The whole experience was great, so skip the corporate carelessness and go there! read more

Luckily I found Theresa beck in April at Mojito's after a horrible experience with another groomer. She is amazing with Charlie, shows compassion and love for what she does, gives great cuts, and Charlie always leaves with the cutest ties/bandannas. Great prices and customer service. Im all for supporting small business but this is the last time i guve this place a try. Ive taken my dog several times non have been great cuts but the lady is super nice so i looked past it. This time however i took my dog asked for a short cut and yup she cut it but cut it sooo ugly and uneven. Im very disappointed that they would be okay calling that a job well done. My whole family is so sad and angry we will never return again. I think that if ur a professional u should know what looks good and what doesnt this definitely doesn't and its pathetic they would allow it. read more

I was hesistant to go here since I had a bad experience at this location last time, but I was desperate and everybody was booked up. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the old owner was gone, as was Vista Pet Grooming. It's a whole new shop with a new owner. I talked with her (Teresa was her name, I believe) and found out that she's been a professional groomer for years. Gone is the cheesy "art" and illegal flea pills. Instead, she'll just focus on grooming. She was able to fit me in for a bath and haircut on short notice. I couldn't be happier with the results. We called around to get prices for grooming our German Shepherd and this company had the best price. Not only that, Jackie, who groomed our dog, was very nice and had her all done in an hour. She did a great job of deshedding her, along with all the other things that came with the "full groom" package. I was really pleased with this pet salon. She's groomed our dog 3 times and did an average job not nearly as good as previous Groomers especially with his nails. She doesn't return phone calls, her mailbox is regularly full and when we leave an SMS message we never hear back from her. We decided it was time for a new pet groomer. read more

Mojito's is fantastic! I took my cat to get groomed. He is NOT the easiest to deal with at the groomers but they were able to get him all shaved before he was too stressed. I was able to go to the back and help soothe him. She advised to bring in a sedative in liquid form and is more than willing to give it to him next time. I will definitely go back! It's obvious Teresa loves dogs, she connected with mine right away....and, was able to trim her nails and brush her teeth with no problem which has been a challenge for a long time. You can give her a picture and/or she will ask you along the way of how you want your pet's hair to be cut. And when she is done grooming, your pet walks out and smells like a superstar :). Went to drop off my pet for a trim, gave her mine & my moms name since she'd be picking him up verified 3 times saying what his name was, hours go by no phone call that he is ready, call to find out what is going on come to find out they got me mistaken with a different dog owner, who they had been calling, instead Of admitting fault/apologizing proceeds to tell me she was gonna call the humane society had l not come. Because "this has never happened to her before" which is irrelevant because it happened now. Gave him a different dogs haircut, & my mom & l were left super frustrated with how she was trying to put the blame on me when her helper did not verify the phone number when l left, & if someone else has our last name how is that our fault? Would not feel comfortable leaving him in her hands after threats to call the humane society on a dog that is clearly very loved & she needs to either do the drop offs herself or get better helpers. read more

I love this salon! My sweet 10 yr old, 4 lb Yorkie/Chi mix had never been to the groomer's before and Teresa was so sweet and gentle with her.
