We have a 6 month old golden that hasn't been groomed before and a 2 year old Alaskan Klee Kai who is very timid and has been groomed by myself. And let me tell you we LOVED her. They butchered my cat, Rooster, took advantage of my aging dad who dropped him off, charged me $140, and then used condescending circle talk to make it my fault. My 80 year old dad dropped off my long haired cat for a nail trim and butt clean. He told them do the same thing as the time before. They proceeded to shave my poor boy to the skin. My father tried to stop them during the process but was told to leave. They verbally accosted him until he left the shop. Once he returned to pick my cat up, he saw they had shaved Rooster completely to the skin, even cut his whiskers. They then charged my dad $140 for something that previously cost $40. They took advantage of my father. When I called, they defended their decision, ridiculed me, and basically told me to go f myself. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Not only did they take advantage of my dad, they offered no reconciliation. I have since learned that the groomer who performed this massacre has departed the business. Hopefully they don't slaughter your pet the way they did mine. My cat is just as traumatized as I am. Who does this? read more

The level of service and quality have been great, but, today I was notified that the traditional fee for my dog will be increasing from $57 to $94! I understand reasonable price increases over time, but a nearly 100% increase is unacceptable. Most other groomers will also attend to anal glands but FPP won't do it. Finally, FPP doesn't take credit cards - a minor annoyance. If FPP gets their prices back to a reasonable level, I would enjoy using them again. Until that time, there are many other groomers with good service. read more

Fallbrook Pet Parlor saved us! Our fluffy German Spitz had come with us on a hike in the Santa Margarita Ecological Preserve. After only walking a few yards, he hopped off the hot sand and into a field of fox tails. Then he rolled in them! He was covered and was very agitated as we tried to remove them. We carried him back to the car and drove to Fallbrook Pet Parlor. Owner Saige Hoey graciously brought him back and patiently brushed him out, despite his occasional hostile reaction! They did it with a smile and turned a really bad situation into a less bad situation! Not just that, they also took care to find every fox tail needle and barb hiding between his lil toes. My own jacket and clothes were covered in them too just from picking him up and carrying him back to the car. We will be back for sure! I've been taking my two Australian Shepards here for almost 4 years. They do a good job, but the first time I took them, they charged $45 per dog. They raised the price every year a little bit...no problem with that, but last week I got an email from Saige, the owner, saying they needed to speak with us about an increase in price. When I took my dogs in yesterday, I Katie asked me if I got the email on increase, I said yes, how much is the increase? She shocked me by saying the new price would be almost $300!!! WTF!! No thanks. There is nothing special going on here. Just a mediocre dog wash for an exorbitant price. I am willing to pay a fair price for any goods or services I receive, but a dog wash is not worth what they are charging. A great analogy would be an oil change. Would I pay $300 for an oil change? No, it's just an oil change. well this is an average dog wash, and I don't pay double for anything. I have already found two reputable dog groomers to do it for less than half, almost 1/3 of that price, and offer at least an equivalent service. I've been a loyal customer for almost 4 years and that is a slap in the face! And I pay cash and tip 20% every time. Stay away!! I will also let you know that my dogs have routinely spent 3-4 hours at the Fallbrook Pet Parlor. they are in crates for all of that time except the hour that they are being washed. this is a traumatic experience for anyone's dogs. NOT ACCEPTABLE! read more

Took my handsome 110 pound nugget of a pitbull/Dogo mix in today for a nail trim. He's a huge mamas boy and anxious AF. Every other groomer has had to muzzle him because he hates his toes being touched by strangers (wouldn't you?). These amazing ladies were able to trim his nails in about 5 minutes without a muzzle. It pains me to write this because I have been going to Saige since she opened Fallbrook Pet Parlor, but she dropped the ball today. My husband had an appointment to take our dog today at 7:45 am, and she was a no-show. I am unsure if she booked early appointments to get everybody in before she left or if she was just being nice and trying to get our dog in before she left, but my husband drove from Murrieta, so it is a pretty long drive to have nobody there. My husband waited until 8:30 am. I left her messages on her Facebook and Instagram pages letting her know he was there waiting, but we got no response. After my husband left to drive back home, I left her a message on her store's voicemail, and it's now noon, and still no response. We followed Saige from her previous salon a bit hesitant about having to drive to Fallbrook versus around the corner in Temecula, but since it is hard to find a great groomer who loves your pets like they're hers, plus have the cutest pet salon and super clean establishment. I have nothing but incredible things to say about this place. First off, I have been coming here for the last 8 months or so with my dog, Grunt, who is notoriously bad with places of business involving pet care like vet offices, groomers, even pet stores. He is a rescue and was largely traumatized as a puppy being brought into the San Diego Humane Society (where I worked at the time - I brought him home with me). He has a bad habit of air snapping at strangers who try to pet him. He has done it to nearly everyone except a select few. Previous vets, clinic staff, and groomers were all afraid he was trying to bite them and would ultimately have to muzzle him. This broke my heart because it only reinforced his fear. I'm going to tell you right now that from the get-go, the staff at Fallbrook Pet Parlor treated Grunt as if he had been going there for years. He, of course, was not having it at first and I heard about how he would freak out sometimes, especially with nail trims. But after the compassion and patience of the staff here, Grunt is no longer air snapping at them, he no longer freaks out with nail trims, they have truly gained his trust. As someone who knows how difficult it is to show reactive dogs love and patience, I commend these ladies. I have referred my mom and her French bulldog here and I will continue to refer anyone in the area looking for a pet groom. I love this place and I will be coming here for all my grooming needs for as long as I live in this area. read more
