We toured their house prior to Grayson's stay and it's well kept, clean, with great big yards both front and back. Grayson came home more obedient, learned how to dress before going outside and "get naked" after going outside, load in and out of the car, ring a bell to let us know when to go potty, "touch," sit, down, and the biggest thing for us is he's more comfortable in the car and listening to music (he used to bark at music like crazy). He doesn't pull on his leash as much and walks are more comfortable and less stressful. Grayson even got socialized with other dogs and cats! He does not bark as much anymore, which has been great for my nervous system Grayson got a bath before he came home and came home with a wonderful goodie bag. They used primarily positive reinforcement training with Grayson with some other tools. It was very effective. Working with Shannon and Sierra, you can tell they really care about their furry clients and take a lot of pride in their work. We will definitely be using them for future boarding for our furbaby. There were tons of dogs barking so much so it was almost impossible to hear what the worker was saying. They also put my dog in a crate right when I arrived. He was so scared he pooped in the crate so the lady got him out to clean it up and her and I almost bonked heads it's a tight space. He was there ALL day! I found that the lady I dropped him off with didn't communicate what kinda haircut he was getting so mid day I called to check on him and they hadn't even started yet the lady who answered the phone asked what kinda Cut we wanted. I was surprised that they made me bring him so early in the morning for an appt if they don't take him right away when I got there. When I came to pick him up he looked adorable they did a great grooming job, he even had a little bandana around his neck. He didn't have a clean smell like I would have imagined after getting a bath but it makes me wonder if they only cut and not bathed him too. Anyways, for the price and the great cut we will likely be back, but I'm not completely convinced that this will be his regular groomer yet.

Very quickly, Colean earned our trust. She initially had us visit her house with our dog to see whether he had the right temperament to fit into her pet community. Instead, he helped us choose the program that would truly fit our needs and goals. That honesty meant a lot. Chris also shared his Instagram, where I could actually see him working with a dog so similar to our own German Shorthaired Pointers. It instantly gave me confidence in his experience with this very high-energy working breed -- aka the original Velcro puppies! By the end of that first call, we felt sure Cosmo K9 was the right fit for us. From there, Chris assigned us to a trainer local to us in Oceanside, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Michelle. She has been absolutely fantastic! Once we handled all the logistics, Michelle became our main point of contact and immediately went above and beyond to communicate with us. Dropping off our puppies was very emotional and difficult, but Michelle eased that transition. She regularly sent photos and gave detailed report cards full of updates about how they were doing, what they were learning, and where each of them was excelling. That level of care and attention meant the world to us. After the two weeks of training, pick-up day was just as thoughtful. Michelle gave us an in-depth 1:1 session (which we were able to record for future reference) to ensure we felt confident continuing the training at home.
