I thought this was a really good place to begin with but the lady running the place is over stressed and the rudest most disrespectful customer service i've ever had. She told me to wait 5 hours because my dog had flees so she couldn't dry him. I said that was fine but had questions and she didn't like that and told me to come pick up my dog because she didn't have time to deal with me to sum it up. read more

If I could, I'd give no stars. The service we got was awful and they butchered our labradoodle's first haircut. We told them just a trim, leaving a few inches of hair and to remove the knot under his ear. Instead, they shaved him all the way down, all over. When we told them how unhappy we were with the grooming, they said our dog had fleas and they needed to shave him all the way down to shampoo him. Our dog is on oral flea control -- if he did have fleas, why not call us to confirm if a shaving was approved by us? Pampered Pets used to be a great place. We are so unhappy....... read more

My husband took our fur baby to go get groomed for the first time since we've had her & when I came home from work shortly after she was picked up I noticed that her nails were cut too short & her fur was still dirty & shedding a lot! I will never be bringing her back, beauty is not pain especially not for a dog! Sure she smelt good but if you actually looked at her fur you could tell they didn't scrub her! read more

Took my two dogs in for baths only. After picking up my dogs my 5 month puppy was yelping each time I touched her right ear. when I checked it I found they had pulled the hair in her ear but evidently pulled a large mass at one time as her ear was all inflamed, this is now the 6th day finally improving. in addition they cut the top of my Males dogs head basically gave him a flat top. when I picked up I asked why did you cut his hair? answer oh we only shaped it. Not true was not happy with the look never said they would be cutting any hair. I called spoke to owner told her what happened she spoke to the two contractors that work there not employees. They lied she said she never pulled the hair from my dogs ears but miraculously its gone. Then in regards to my males cut, they said he was matted not true as I come his ears and head out daily with steel tooth comb. The dishonesty is the most disappointing. As far as my puppy she now has had a bad experience at the salon will have difficulty wanting anyone to do her ears. So Sad read more

Having moved from a place where it seemed there were trendy dog groomers on every corner, we simply feel BLESSED that Pampered Pets is our local grooming stop for our large breed GR. The owner/worker-bees there are lovely: friendly to both dogs AND people -- what a concept! The TLC taken is really what is special about this place. I've had my little terrier mix to almost every grooming salon in and around Fallbrook. A friend of mine recommended Pampered Pets and I made an appointment. I picked her up this afternoon and she looks amazing. I've had her groomed at a large pet store and they were cutting and grinding her nails. I was told that she needs to have her nails cut every 2 weeks because of the way the root grows. I didn't know that and no one until now ever mentioned it. I will definitely be bringing my dog back to Pampered Pets from now on. read more

We have been bringing our pets here for over 5 years. Jackie, Julie and Fernando are simply the best. Our dogs must love it there, because one of them drags me to the shop door when we arrive. And they come home looking terrific. Jackie, Julie and Fernando are also observant when it comes to our dogs' health, identifying hot spots, tender teeth, and sore feet that we did not notice. Several years ago they discovered a small lump on one of our dogs. The vet removed the lump, a cancerous tumor that was caught in time for us to enjoy an additional two years with our dog. read more

The thing that stands out to me is the care and time they are willing to spend on each dog and its needs. I have an older Cocker Spaniel with a seizure disorder, and the groomers at Pampered Pets plan the timing of her grooming carefully so that she doesn't have to spend any extra time there. She also resists having her face touched, but they always manage to trim it precisely. I recommend Pampered Pets highly! read more

I took in my Schnoodle today for a haircut and bath. He'd always been trimmed like a Poodle. I wanted more like a Schnoodle. I had previously brought in my Westie for years. My husband took our longhaired Maine Coon cat to Pampered Pets in Fallbrook, CA for grooming so that she would be more comfortable when the really hot days of summer arrive. He was asked to leave the cat and pick her up later, which he did, paying $80.00 ($30.00 more than last year). When I first saw her at home, I realized that something was wrong; she was traumatized and bleeding from 3 of her nipples which had been cut during the grooming. Fortunately,for us, she's young and is healing ok with no infection, but I would never take her back there! Someone there does not know what they are doing. read more
