What a lovely spot! Came here two days in a row on a drive between Sebastopol and Jenner. I've…read moreactually been driving past this spot for a couple years and never stepped in. So glad I finally did! Beautiful interior with a large wooden bar and lots of house plants. I got a vanilla bean latte and my wife got a strawberry matcha. We also got a chocolate croissant and a ham galette. All were delicious and were extremely high quality, which is an odd way to describe food, I know. However, I watched the barista make the drinks and he was extremely measured and clearly experienced. We could also see the kitchen where food was being made. My point is they are very committed to their craft here! The ambience is so cozy! Nice warm lighting, lots of seating, and even a kids play area. And the large windows with the fog rolling through the redwoods really ties it all together. If I could work remotely from here, I would! Can't wait to come back to this spot next time I'm in the area. Incredible food and drinks and unbeatable ambiance.

My wife can't stop talking about the Bumblebee Latte, lol. This time I got a dirty chai and it was great. See pics for the Daybreak food we scarfed down right there. When we got to the cafe, they had already sold out of breakfast burritos and croissants, but this seemed to be par for the course at every eatery in Bodega Bay between Christmas and New Year's. It's hard to hold it against them. My wife raved about her Bumblebee Latte and though I like my coffee strong and black, it did look good. We got two breakfast croissant bagels (substituting for the sold out croissants) and they were delicious! Service was excellent and relatively fast, considering they had a non-stop stream of customers. No space inside to eat, but chairs and tables by the parking lot, which was large compared to virtually every other place in Bodega Bay. We didn't eat there, we took our breakfast and drove a hundred yards up the road to the Bodega Dunes Campground which has a lovely day use picnic area (there is an entry fee). Loved everything, but we're going to try to be early enough to score the burritos next time.

You will find that amazing vibe in this area and Lightwave Coffee exemplifies a movement that was so much about optimism and love. Interior and exterior are amazing with much of the decoration being made from found objects. I loved all the old electronic and mechanical devices inside and loved the mishmash cups and plates that made it feel like you were eating in a friends kitchen. The food and coffee we got were abnormally high quality and we recommend the cookies and the basil ice lemonade. So good after a long day outdoors. Right next to it is a community farm that felt so welcoming and chill. Volunteers were weeding and cleaning on the weekend and it reminded me the very best of the game Stardew Valley. Right next to it is a concrete skatepark and a guy was shredding it when we went. So worth a stop for all these bonus quests! They also had a "pay what you want" little section of potted plants you can take away such as chilis, tomatoes, etc...

We ordered the avo+egg bagel and ham+cheese bagel to share, in addition to iced coffee with oat milk. I'm sure we'll come back another time to try the rest of the menu. We came here after a hike in Monte Rio and enjoyed the scenic views after we ate. There's a beautiful garden and small skateboarding park nearby that's publicly accessible, if you feel like walking around too!
