Nice location right in the Manatee Pocket. I've travelled to a lot of different spots in Florida and if this place was off the water , it probably wouldn't make it. My daughter and I had the New England chowder and it was like paste - so much flour that just stuck to your spoon, we both had a hard time with it. My daughter had the calamari, which were big hoops, larger than we had seen served before. She works summers at the Jersey Shore at an excellent seafood restaurant so she knows good seafood. These were greasy and chewy. I had the bang bang shrimp, which I returned. It was also real greasy, loaded with breading and the shrimp were very small and stuck together. I was only able to eat 3-4 and couldn't eat the rest. My wife had the blackened chicken served over rice, which she liked. She said the chicken had good flavor, texture and tasted fresh. Our server was vert sweet, but spread way too thin. She took the bang bang shrimp off the bill, which was a professional move. I thought it was better when it was the Twisted Tuna. We won't go back unless we get good reports from friends that the food has gotten better. read more

I've been to restaurant twice and ordered Sushi on both visits and found it to be excellent. I did find the cocktails on both visits to be below average and hope they improve their bartending. The ambiance at the marina on the river is very nice. read more

Had a great time at the dockside bar yesterday during a beautiful spring day. Enjoyed attentive service while making friends at the bar, as we all took in the boat action along the waterfront. The service was OK except for the long delay in the kitchen with the entrees. The food was also, just ok. What earned the really low rating? The DIN!! Im only giving a two because the food was ok. The service at the outdoor was beyond terrible! Because we are not regulars we were treated like outcasts by the young female bartender. From the minute she came to take our drink order I knew we were gonna have a terrible experience! it's like. It was so obvious that this young lady wanted nothing to do with serving us. She was rude, she was absolutely miserable towards us. She was beyond slow to take drink or food order. She only wanted to mingle with her regulars and wanted nothing to do with us.. i've been to the other establishment in Boynton Beach several times and never had an issue,. I will never be back to to this establishment and if I had an employee like that, this girl definitely does not belong in the food service or bartending industry.. As other reviewers have stated, the menu has been reduced, the overall look is being updated and many of the familiar servers are still here. We came one time with a large group on Taco Tuesday. I had the fried shrimp and each taco (serving is 3) had several large pieces of shrimp. You also get rice and beans. Delicious! Everyone in our group agreed that their meal was tasty and plentiful. I talked to the host and she said this establishment was bought out by 2 George's... so I then asked to speak to the manager. I asked if he may honor our gift card for the inconvenience. Right from the start we were treated differently from other guests. We ordered beverages that came with no coaster, and after that ignored. One of us ordered ribeye scampi, among most expensive dishes on menu. $38, Bloody Mary $16, etc. not cheaper appetizers. We waited while three other tables were served their food before us, even though we were there first. Not once did waitress check on us. It was like we were pariahs. My fiancé was fed up. It had been 45 minutes and nothing. We left but with no apology from them were forced to pay for three beverages, which two were fine, but he didn't touch the wine which was never touched. $40 for two alcoholic drinks and one fruity beverage. Unreal. I had just gotten out of the hospital after 2 weeks and had never been to this restaurant. It was really cool to be outside enjoying the weather and atmosphere, yet my enjoyment was ruined by the service. On top of this, no apology!!! Never going back. Came for dinner with 8 family members at 6 pm, it's 8 pm and we have not have our dinner served. As we are waiting painters came in and started prepping for painting. The sound of plastic sheeting is nails on a chalkboard! Not our wonderful waitress fault but completely inappropriate. We moved tables and are still waiting on dinner. This restaurant has been good in the past but this is a huge disappointment. Food was served and most was good, chicken was overcooked and bread from hoagie fish sandwich was hard as a rock. Mgr came out but did not introduce herself as such, they did remove the last round of "stress drinks", but we will not be back. read more

We own a restaurant in Virginia and had lunch today at Two George's... Alejandra waited in us and was delightful -- Friendly, accommodating, and all in all an excellent server. The food was excellent. Best Island conch we've ever had - lightly battered and not overly chewy. The tuna tower was stellar. Fresh as possible and seasoned well. Our other guests had the Salerno salad and Mahi tacos. Also excellent. Seriously couldn't ask for a nicer meal! read more

It was hard to decipher if the food had improved marginally from this mediocre restaurant, which used to call itself Twisted Tuna. It was so noisy inside on Friday night at 6 PM that you couldn't hear yourself think. Some but not all of it was due to a party of about 15 in the corner that was screaming loud the entire time with children running up and down the aisles uncontrolled. When you can't hear yourself think it's hard to be in a good frame of mind to enjoy your dinner. We were not the only couple that asked to be moved away from that large table because of the absolute screaming. Wouldn't you think they would put this party outside or at least ask them to modulate their noise a bit? read more

And fish tacos were good. Service was OK- paid our check - moved to outside bar. Bartender didn't seem interested in serving me. Just held a Luncheon for a group of 43. Everything was perfect. The room for the group on the second floor overlooking Manatee Pocket was outstanding, service was prompt and timely, and food quality for the buffet styled lunch was delicious. We recently hosted a large party here (60+ guests). Maria was so helpful in setting the venue up and helping to set a menu. The food was delicious (highly recommend the sushi yacht), the bartenders made some amazing drinks, and the servers were so kind and personable. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

This was a bad experience from the time I arrived till I left. As I approach the front door people are smoking all over the place. The doors were dirty and grimy. The service was slow and the food was terrible. I was praying not to get sick that night. Since it was new ownership I thought I would give it a try. The same old horrible place! read more

We just held our Annual Dinner meeting last night and everything was amazing. Matt and Johnny were attentive to every one of our 62 attendees. I so appreciated the guidance and experience of Maria in planning this event. The assortment of food options made it difficult to choose.... we went with the salmon, chicken and pork. The appetizers were delicious and plentiful. Each guest enjoyed the outstanding waterfront view, while sipping on a cocktail on the terrace. A perfect night indeed. Seconding the March 10,2024 rating by Jamie M. I was the recipient of the rock-hard bread Grouper Hoagie sandwich. In fact, I gave it to the Manager for her inspection. No reaction, and no compensation on my bill. What was indicative about the bread, and the kitchen performance in general is that while the bread was hard as a rock, the grouper and accompaniment on it was perfectly cooked. In addition, it is worth adding that during this three hour dinner exercise, the number of times we received an update from waitress or manager as to what was going on and when we'd be served was zero. Got there a bit before 6 and were seated almost immediately-place was crowded. Leaving at 9, the place was near empty. No compensation on anyone's bill. They did comp a couple of drinks at the end, but since half the party wasn't drinking, 4 drinks didn't begin to cut it. Service and Management issues need attention. read more
