Amazing Spot on the Water! Stopped in at Sauders Landing, and I've got to say -- what an awesome place! The view on the water is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere couldn't be more relaxing. The staff was super friendly and helpful from start to finish, and they really made the experience feel personal. And the food? Outstanding. The fried fish was some of the best I've ever had -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. If you're anywhere near the water, do yourself a favor and stop by Sauders Landing. Great people, great food, and a view that can't be beat.

Sauder's Landing is a small restaurant on Nettle's Island. There are perhaps 8-10 tables inside and about the same outside. We made a late reservation and outside was filled so we were seated inside. That was good as it cooled off quickly as the sun set so we were glad to be inside. Sauder's Landing's menu is pretty complete while focusing on seafood. My wife ordered a wedge salad and a bowl of clam chowder. The salad was excellent and the chowder had a high clam to potato ratio (I hate it when all you get is broth and a bunch of big potato chunks and maybe a couple of clams) Chowder could be added to the our "best clam chowder list". One of the specials that night was scallops sautéed in a really good sauce served over rice. One of the side options were the home made onion rings. I'll start by saying the onion rings were outstanding. The scallops were pretty good as well but certainly not memorable due to size, being a bit chewy and price point. We will likely come back for lunch before we leave this year as the fish offerings looked quite good.

Realllly delicious spot tucked away in a gated community, so you probably come in based on recommendation or if you found it by online reviews, because you definitely can't just stumble upon it. Certainly delicious, we ordered so many yummy things. The following were incredible: Crab cake appetizer Caesar salad with chicken Mahi sandwich Fish tacos Fried jumbo shrimp My Mom loved the fresh squeezed lemonade, and we were OBSESSED with the Homemade Peanut Butter Pie. The coconut Bombay cake was nice but once the waitress said the peanut butter pie was an Amish recipe I said YES PLEASE. It was stunning. We would come back strictly for the peanut butter pie any day of the week. Our waitress Carolyn was so friendly, we made a reservation for party of 8, and it has marina views but it was a chilly day so we sat inside.

Don't be put off by the fact that this place is in a mobile home park. We almost turned around and left but decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did! The food was so delicious and prepared perfectly. Got to sit outside and look out at the boats which was enjoyable. Service was pleasant and attentive.

Outstanding! The fish tacos with mahi were awesome. Great portions, the flavors were excellent. Great balance of spice with the freshness of the lettuce and a little pineapple. The hand cut fries and onion rings were crazy good. The grouper bites were tender and lightly breaded and absolutely fantastic. Our first time, but not our last time. The crab cake was delicious. So much lump crab, not overly breading focused. Fantastic

Do we need a reservation for 4 pm on a Sunday?

I would reserve in case they have a private party. That way you know you have a table.

Do they have a liquor license ? If so do they have a bar to sit at? Thanks

Only beer and wine no liquor

Yelp! search said the place is good for groups, however, the reviews recommend a reservation. Would they be able to accommodate a group of 20+ people with a reservation?

It's a small place with three sections. Twenty people would take up on section but call and ask! You would be at different tables tho. Probably not the best place for that… Read more

Do you have gluten free food items?

    yes

Can I bring my 5 lb dog?

Is there a happy hour, what are the HH food and drink prices?

No happy hour im here now and asked.

Only open Thursday through Sunday, and seemingly only a single seating - arrive between 6 and 7, 9pm close. Service was excellent, and dietary restrictions (vegetarian) were accommodated with advance notice. This would be a great spot for an anniversary dinner or other special occasion. Everything my family ordered was excellent, from the dense, moist loaf of walnut sourdough to the wahoo entree. Each entree is served on a thick wooden cutting board with an artful array of garnishes for maximal flavor and textures. My vegetarian board was "chefs choice" (you get what you get, no requests or options possible) and it was excellent! It basically had all the fun garnishes and veg components of the other entrees plus whole roasted sweet potato. It was so nice that the veggie board wasn't an afterthought - it had the same level of intention and detail as the regular menu items.

Honestly, when we first arrived for our reservation, I wasn't even sure we were in the right place. But the moment you step through the front door, everything changes. Inside, it becomes something far more special. It feels as though you're not just dining out, but being welcomed into a family gathering. The warmth is immediate, genuine, and rare. The staff treated us as if they had known us our whole lives, and even surprised us with a personalized menu crafted just for our occasion; a gesture that spoke volumes. We've dined at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, surrounded by lavish interiors and extravagant presentations. Yet none have captured the unique spirit we found here. 11 Maple Street offers something deeper: authenticity, heart, and a reminder of why we cook and why we gather around food in the first place. Each dish felt prepared with true soul, the kind of intention many chefs, including ourselves, forget in the pursuit of perfection and prestige. Last night, we found something we didn't realize we were missing until this experience brought it back to us. A genuinely unforgettable place. I'm beginning to tear up while I write this, because this treatment among strangers has become rare in this world, this place has truly touched my heart.

I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus.
