We recently moved to the Port St. Lucie area and have been exploring different places and restaurants. One spot we found and really enjoyed is Seaside Cafe. It has a very relaxed atmosphere where you can bring your dog, have a great breakfast, and then walk right over to the beach afterward. They offer all kinds of little extras that make the experience more comfortable, and they also serve lunch with a variety of sandwiches. If you plan to go for breakfast, try to arrive early. Even though the parking lot is large, it fills up quickly since many people are also heading to the beach. Overall, it was a great experience--lots of people enjoying the ocean, the sunshine, and a peaceful morning by the water. Oh and the pancakes are huge! read more

What a cool lunch place with an amazing view! My mom and I went to lunch here a couple of weeks ago, and we'll definitely be back for more. This is a hugely constructed Tiki hut right on the beach. Parking is easy breezy with a huge paved lot right in front. It's handicap accessible, is dog friendly, and is completely covered but all outdoors. There are many tables to choose from and also bar seating. There is no table service - you must order any food/drinks via the kitchen window. When your order is ready, you're called up to the pick-up window for retrieval. The kitchen works fairly quickly- when we arrived we were surprised to see the line was LONG! Maybe my mom and I were having fun chatting with each other and enjoying the beautiful view of the beach, but it seemed to move quickly! We ordered a shrimp po'boy and this came with a side of our choice (fries!). Po'boy was well executed, remoulade sauce was on-point, and the veggies on it were fresh! I'd order this again for sure! We also had grilled Mahi tacos. These were grilled perfectly, and the taco toppings were fresh and matched well... they don't come with a side just FYI. We also had some cold Sailfish Brewing IPAs we enjoyed while our food was being prepared. In addition to lunch, they also serve breakfast starting pretty early in the morning. They also provide an optional beach chair, umbrella, and clamshell rental program that's pretty reasonably priced in case you'd like to rent for your beach day! read more

This is an amazing find. The food is amazing, staff super friendly and view of the ocean-spectacular! My family frequents this place, typically breakfast, and it never disappoints. Somewhat mixed feelings about the cafe. The view is great and the food is really quite decent. Haven't been unhappy with anything yet and I've tried at least half the menu over the last few months. The service is mostly where things are lacking. Lower your expectations for clean tables and don't expect someone to always be at the bar. If you happen to get there during the time when they switch over from bfast to lunch and you're really hungry for bfast, get ready to have lunch instead because they will shut the whole thing down for 20 minutes no matter how many people have been in line for how long. If you don't make the cutoff for bfast, you're SOL. Too bad, so sad. Lastly, as a local, expect to be PO'd by the ridiculous lines during snowbird season - they ruin everything. read more

I love this cafe, I grew up here and come for breakfast absolutely every time I visit my parents. The sunrise platter is consistent and the bacon is always crispy. The little OJs are so cute. The past few times I have come, however, this squirrel has become a menace to society, and my arch nemesis. I think maybe a "Do Not Feed the Squirrels" sign could be beneficial, as I saw multiple people feed him (which is so crazy, because if you've ever been to a cafe or park in FL you'd KNOW not to feed him)! He's now jumped on my table and taken food off my plate. Of course this won't keep me from visiting because peoples feeding behavior is not the fault of the cafe, but just beware of this squirrel if you see him approaching. Otherwise, would definitely recommend visiting our lovely little Stuart Beach cafe and just not sitting off to the left wing, as that's where he seems to be most aggressive. Lol read more

Decided to give this restaurant a try after spending a few hours at the Elliot Museum with my toddler. ( it's within walking distance, can also move your car if needed). To my delight, the place was pretty nice! We shared the chicken tender basket along with a mango smoothie and it was a great choice. Both my toddler and I enjoyed but what was more amazing was the breeze you get from being so close to the Stuart Beach! A very relaxed vibe to enjoy the food and the view. First time, great place..beach right there, nice cold beer, yummy menu. I had the blackened fish tacos which were very tasty not salty or over blackened m as most other places. Seaside cafe is a great casual spot right on the beach that seems to be newly renovated. Came here for lunch on a beach day, and while the line was pretty long it moved relatively quickly considering there were a bunch of families with really large orders. The seating is relatively limited, and the clientele is a little aggressive, so be prepared to have to work a bit to find a seat. Food was reasonably priced for what we got, and honestly I cant complain with fresh food right on the beach! read more

First thing I read on the reviews was to watch for the non-venomous snakes around the restaurant...so needless to say I could not relax entire time I was there. I do not like having to stand in long lines to order my food then have my name screamed out to pick up my order. Drinks were ok. We had shrimp po boy sandwiches and mahi tacos. Both were really good. Ruth was very patient, kind, and able to deal well with managing many customers and their emotions. Jennifer was also hustling around helping transition from breakfast to lunch. The whole team in the kitchen and outside the kitchen deserve a round of applause. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I think the City should allow these workers to receive tips for working so hard. Food was yummy I got the Fish Basket. What a great little find and right on the beach! All dining is outside and covered with a view of the beach. They have a nice menu offering and full bar. I had the Blackened Mahi sandwich with side of fries. The Mahi was was moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. It was served on a luau roll which was soft and buttery (Hawaiian bread). Fries were warm and crispy. Highly recommend this establishment! read more

The best thing about this is definitely the ambiance. It's such a beautiful spot overlooking the dunes & the beach. It's an outdoor counter where you walk up, order & pay, then wait for your food. It was pretty busy when we arrived in the early afternoon, the line took awhile to get through. We got a French dip sandwich and a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese. The French dip my mom didn't like at all and only took a few bites, she said it had a weird taste to it. I ordered the cheeseburger which was decent, pretty standard. It was cooked perfectly & the condiments were fresh. The French fries were great, crispy, and I think we both ate more of those than we ate of our actual sandwiches. Note this is a self service establishment. That said, the food was excellent, and the venue cannot be beat! It sits directly on the beach. If you want, you can take your food directly out onto the sand. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. read more
