PROS: - Location was easy to find, in a strip mall off of a main road - The ambiance is garden/earthy and warm, with a true Mediterranean feel throughout - The staff is warm and helpful, greeted me upon entry and exit. My amazing server Simone helped answer questions about my lunch selection - Great selection of items on the lunch menu (they have Happy Hour y'all!) - My meal was brought out quickly - Food was very tasty and very well portioned... generously-sized CONS: - Only one... pricing. My salad with a protein was $35. In my opinion the one con in this case did not outweigh the many pros. This is a spot I will happily go back to one day when I'm back in the area. Tortilla española, croquetas, mussels, gypsy bread We arrived with high expectations and left disappointed. Perhaps working in Spain for two years ruined my take on tapas but this isn't really close. When we entered we were super impressed by the space. The replica of the Guernica on one side was super cool. I saw it as a kid in New York and a few years back at the Reina Sofía. But I digress... We ordered the tortilla española, croquettes, gypsy bread and mussels. First concern was the huge size portions. Crap, we're in America. The tortilla dish was like a potato frittata - a mouthful of flavorless mass. The croquettes, we asked for the fish but got spinach, were somehow even worse. A super thin bread coating and mushy interior. Gypsy bread - ugh, like a flat bread gone wrong. And the mussels instead of a pleasant garlic sauce were drown in a concoction with traces of tomato but lacking an identity. OK, we'll recover in dessert. They're out of the Key Lime so let's try this Phyllo thing. Imaging a sponge with chunks of orange on it. Bleh. I understand how hard it is to run a restaurant and I hate writing bad reviews. This place needs a major food upgrade and someone who knows how to make a croquette. read more

100% recommend. Ok, here's why... Driving up, you see the sophisticated look of the awnings, plants and little cafe style tables. Made me think of Clematis, but without the traffic, no parking, and crime. Walking in the door, I was taken aback by the beautifully done interior. Unbelievable that it was once a Hwy 55! To your immediate right there's a nice selection of wine and a few packaged goods, then to your left is a nice glass cheese case with some interesting flavors. Around the corner from there is a coffee bar and desserts. YUM! They look amazing and taste just as good. Next to that, starts the open kitchen and in the middle is a classy full bar. The decor is upscale, clean, European-feeling, intimate, and inviting. There's a large print on the back wall that looks like a Picasso, but could be from someone else. I was welcomed by a nice lady who I am guessing was the bartender, and she sat us in a nice quiet corner with a bench seat and chair. Soft music played familiar songs but in a different style that was very relaxed and easy on the ears. Our waitress was excellent! Gave us time and suggestions, was quick and pleasant as well. The food... I am an eater and chose 4 items, because I love Spanish food and the menu had so many great options. I have to go back to try 4 more! Starting with the Sangria, I knew it was going to be good. The tapas selection is quite large and I chose an old favorite, Spanish Tortilla. Simply made with eggs, potatoes and onions, it was perfect. Next from the tapas menu was the garlic shrimp. They weren't big, but you got a few and the sauce was delicious! Actually asked for a spoon to drizzle it onto other dishes. Next had the Pork Milanesa Sandwich and Chistorra, both of which had great flavors and generous portions. Dessert... The first one on the menu is their Tiramisu... House made, HUGE, and oh so delicious! Must go back and try more. read more

I am from Spain, specifically the Basque region. This place doesn't even come close. I took my in laws here otherwise I would've never gone as I am always disappointed when I eat at restaurants that claim they serve authentic food from Span. I'll keep it brief. The croquettes that we ordered were cold. I think they were likely frozen and microwaved. The worst part of the night was the paella which was grossly undercooked. The rice was hard. It took them 45 minutes to cook another paella, which was also undercooked lol. The owner or manager never came out to apologize and we were given the bill without a discount. I have gluten allergy and called ahead to ask if they offered GF options. There are only a few options and for a Tapas place was disappointed. Happy hour only offers 20% off menu cost. The garlic shrimp has a nice sauce but the baked chicken wings were served with yellow, rubbery undercooked skin. Please offer more options for the GF community as your cuisine definitely has them. Also, if you pay with a card, there is a "sneakflation" 3% upcharge. read more

Hands down my new favorite restaurant in Palm City! My husband and I tried at least five different dishes. All were excellent. Andres was the bartender and also served us. He was great! We had the naan, shrimp, The Argento Sandwich, croquettes and empanadas! Can't forget the caipirinhas! Traditional and with passion fruit. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated. Have been to many Tapas restaurants but the food here was terrible. Our bread basket was rock hard. The Sangria tasted like Kool-Aid. The Pork Milanesa Sandwich had one small breaded pork cutlet on it, with again, hard bread. The Moroccan Chickpea salad had a lot of canned chickpeas and raisins in it, hardly any of the other listed ingredients. It is nice inside but the music repeated over and over. What a lovely place to eat dinner. We were a group of four. One had the fresh tuna salad, two had salmon and one had tapas. Everyone was happy with their choice. Our girly party of four arrived early for dinner and it was not busy - yet. Nice ambiance and the service was great. My sangria was not too sweet which is just the way I like it. The other girls (58, 70, and a very young active 90yo) enjoyed their drinks. I ordered the sardines and the anchovies which I love. The anchovies were way too lemony.
