I never thought much of Greek food until now. Friends of mine took me to Spiro's and changed my mind! The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and lit with very nice while Christmas lights, this being the season and all. The waiter was friendly and not overbearing. I was quite surprised at the prices...very reasonable. I had a gyro with a side Greek salad for $12. The salad was fresh with lots of feta. The gyro was absolutely delicious...and fairly large. The meat was roasted just right and tender. The sauce was tasty, and the pita bread was warm and soft. My friends had spanakopita. They loved it. The portions were large, the food was fresh and delicious, and the price was right. They're a fairly new restaurant in town, so I wish them well. If they keep it serving food like this at these prices, they'll be in JB for a long time g time!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant!!! Despite not many posted reviews, we visited this restaurant for dinner per a friend's recommendation and were so glad we did! Don't come to Spiros expecting authentic Greek dishes; however, come with an open mind to try amazing dishes with a unique twist. The spanakopita was honestly some of the best I've ever had.. and as someone who absolutely loves Mediterranean food, I've had several. There was a distinct slight fishy taste to the spanakopita; however, I personally very much enjoyed the flavor profile. The flakiness of the pastry combined with the deliciousness of the spinach and cheese was 10 / 10 for sure. We also ordered the trio platter as we wanted to try the gyro, chicken, and pork. The side of lemon roasted potatoes was delicious with a good crisp. The chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection... absolutely delicious. The lamb was good as well, but I've had better. The pork was my least favorite (but my husband's favorite). In addition to a wide diverse selection of menu items, Spiros also offers very tasty cocktails! We are very excited to come back sometime perhaps next time for breakfast!

We found this place on Yelp, of course, and saw the ratings. Took a quick look at the menu online and decided that there would be enough good lean protein and vegetables for me as well as other delectable dishes to satisfy G's desire for meat and potatoes. Port Barna has a lovely tapas menu as well as an extensive drinks menu. It's not often that you find a Sidecar and a Toasted Almond on the bar offerings list! I myself opted for a simple gin and tonic and I had about six types to choose from. I chose classic Bombay and was not disappointed. We had Steak Frites, and the Garlic Shrimp. Both came with a house salad. The salad was lovely; fresh and crisp with ripe red tomatoes, croutons, onions and a little bit of buffalo mozzarella topped with a classic oil and vinegar. Very nice. Both entrées were very generous in portion, and very good fare. This isn't a steakhouse but G's steak was quite nice, and my scrimps and veg were fabulous, perfectly seasoned with mild spice and an incredible portion. We were able to bring puppy dog onto the patio and it was surprising that we had the whole thing to ourselves on a Saturday evening. In addition to the great food and the great service it's a lovely place for people watching. We both enjoyed a relaxing evening sipping our cocktails, having great food, listening to good music and watching everybody come and go. Highly recommended, thank you Port Barna!

I've been told by many of my friends that I had to try Olympic Taverna for breakfast, especially to…read moretry their grits which, all have said are the best they've ever had. Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return.

The chicken gyro seemed like no spices were used, i could not eat it. The greek salad was disappointing as well, with hardly any cucumber, or tomatoes. The server was kind and she also took out my dish from the bill. Overall, it didn't feel authentic at all, which was very disappointing.

Very warm and friendly ambience. Not too big and noisy, it's tucked ina little u shaped plaza off Jensen Beach Blvd. Our server was selling us in the Chefs platter which we will try next time. Leslie was our server and she was terrific! She did a great job of explaining everything. The chef, Laurie came out to talk to us about the menu as well. We started with the fried artichokes and baba ganush.. amazing and the pita was wonderful as well. My husband had the branzino which he said was excellent. I had the falafel wrap which was one of the best ever. My friend had the the grilled octopus and another friend had the Ikender (?) which was a lamb dish. Everyone was very full and satisfied. The dessert ls looked incredible as well. Will have to save room next time. The warmth , family style and food will bring us back here soon.
