!!!Go eat at this place NOW!!! Fig & Olive in Jensen Beach delivers an outstanding dining experience that feels both personal and elevated from the moment you sit down. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the attention to detail--not just in the food, but in how the experience is curated for each guest. Our evening began with the Chef's Platter, and it immediately became clear we were in for something special. Before the first dish even arrived, the chef personally visited our table to understand our tastes and preferences--an uncommon and thoughtful touch that made the experience feel tailored rather than pre-set. The cold and hot appetizer platter was a vibrant, beautifully arranged spread that balanced freshness and bold flavor. Highlights included smoky, creamy boboganush, tender grape leaves, and crisp, addictive crispy chickpeas. The beets and feta brought a perfect sweet-savory contrast, while the hummous was silky and deeply flavorful. The pole beans added a bright, refreshing element, and the crispy cheese rolls were golden, rich, and impossible to stop eating. The experience continued seamlessly into the entrée platter, which showcased a generous and expertly prepared assortment of proteins and vegetables. From the perfectly seasoned kebabs to the delicate fresh seafood, everything was cooked with precision. The shrimp and octopus were especially memorable--tender, flavorful, and expertly charred. The fresh fish flaked beautifully, and the chicken was juicy and well-marinated. Accompanying everything were lightly grilled summer vegetables, bright with citrus from fresh lemons, and warm, pillowy pita that tied every bite together. Throughout the meal, the service remained attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every dish arrived at the right pace, plates were refreshed effortlessly, and the staff conveyed genuine enthusiasm for the food. The evening concluded with what was undeniably the highlight of the meal: Strawberries Dubai. This dessert was a stunning combination of fresh strawberries paired with house-made pistachio and tahini white chocolate--a luxurious, nutty-sweet creation that was both unique and deeply satisfying. It was the perfect ending to a beautifully orchestrated dining experience. Fig & Olive is more than a meal--it's a thoughtfully crafted culinary journey driven by hospitality, personalization, and exceptional flavor.r

Desserts at Fig and Olive - amazing!

I went with a friend and her elderly mom to celebrate my friend's birthday. We did lunch because Fig and Olive was still serving lunch (but thinking about doing only dinner). The meal was amazing! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful! The service was almost too much (attention-wise) because there weren't many people there. The setting is pleasant - it's easy to have a conversation and hear what your companions are saying (unlike some popular sports bars!). The food is well worth the price because the quality is over the top!

What a cool comfortable mom & pop type restaurant that serves quality food that is comparable to any five Star Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in Turkish flavors and all home made dishes. Here you are paying a premium for this food and it is well worth it in taste and flavors. The chef is a dynamic lady with a fabulous sense of humor. The lamb kabobs were so tender you could cut it with a fork. Calamari was very lightly dusted and not over cooked. The lentil soup was very flavorful and hearty. We also had the baba ghanoush was Smokey and very flavor full and tasty. Great place and can't wait to come back and try some other dishes.

Recently moved to the area and was craving Mediterranean but also wanted to find a vegetarian option as we had family visiting-when this spot popped up. I'm so glad we gave it a try as it was a great experience. Upon walking in it was a wife and husband duo that were cooking and waiting tables alone, while keeping a friendly and attentive atmosphere. The woman was so friendly and funny and willing to be of maximum assistance as we had a toddler with us. We ordered a veggie w yogurt for an appetizer, small lentil soup, chicken kebab, lamb dish, falafel plate and the pistachio ricotta cake slice and she accommodated fries for our toddler. Everything was scrumptious and very authentic to their Turkish background. Portions were generous and pricing was on par. The big winner was the pistachio cake but we were definitely tempted by their Dubai offering. Overall, I'd definitely recommend and look forward to returning!

Incredible service and some of the best food I've ever had! We got the chef special and it was a 100/10 experience. We will definitely be back.

We found this place on Yelp, of course, and saw the ratings. Took a quick look at the menu online and decided that there would be enough good lean protein and vegetables for me as well as other delectable dishes to satisfy G's desire for meat and potatoes. Port Barna has a lovely tapas menu as well as an extensive drinks menu. It's not often that you find a Sidecar and a Toasted Almond on the bar offerings list! I myself opted for a simple gin and tonic and I had about six types to choose from. I chose classic Bombay and was not disappointed. We had Steak Frites, and the Garlic Shrimp. Both came with a house salad. The salad was lovely; fresh and crisp with ripe red tomatoes, croutons, onions and a little bit of buffalo mozzarella topped with a classic oil and vinegar. Very nice. Both entrées were very generous in portion, and very good fare. This isn't a steakhouse but G's steak was quite nice, and my scrimps and veg were fabulous, perfectly seasoned with mild spice and an incredible portion. We were able to bring puppy dog onto the patio and it was surprising that we had the whole thing to ourselves on a Saturday evening. In addition to the great food and the great service it's a lovely place for people watching. We both enjoyed a relaxing evening sipping our cocktails, having great food, listening to good music and watching everybody come and go. Highly recommended, thank you Port Barna!

Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return.

The chicken gyro seemed like no spices were used, i could not eat it. The greek salad was disappointing as well, with hardly any cucumber, or tomatoes. It's a small place, with just 9 tables and an assortment of bar chairs inside, but there is lots of seating outside. We ordered the falafel appetizer. I'm used to a different flavor of falafel and crisper. These were okay, but I don't think I'll order them again. It did come with a nice selection of veggies and plenty of delicious sauce. We also tried the spinach pie appetizer, and it was generous and delicious, big thumbs up. Both of us ordered the gyro sandwich. One of us got fries the other a salad. The fries were good, well-seasoned, maybe could have been cooked a little more for my personal preference. The salad was a nice surprise, tasted great. Both were large portions. We both enjoyed the gyros, and they were also extra large. One of us took half of it home. We ordered takeout for tomorrow, and we aren't exactly sure what we ordered because it looked a little different when we got home and took it out of the bag. However, we are not that familiar with the menu (which is extensive), so maybe we didn't order what we thought, which was a trio that includes 2 sides (beans and a salad), spinach pie, moussaka, and pastitsio. It looks like the moussaka was missing. Service was good, portions extra large. We plan to return and will make sure we check with the server about what exactly we thinking we're ordering when it comes to the takeout, if we do that again. ETA: The takeout we took home was definitely missing the moussaka. The rest of it (pastitsio, pie, and beans) did not taste that good at all. We might give them another try, but we aren't in a hurry to return.

My favorite sides are the Israeli couscous salad with currants, Craisins, edamame, red, orange, and yellow sweet peppers; the roasted cauliflower garnished with basil and tahini; and the lentil salad with caramelized onions and roasted garlic cloves that simply melt in your mouth--or, even better, spread on their fresh, house-made pita bread. My favorite hot platters are the Shish Tawook Platter, featuring perfectly seasoned chicken chunks smothered in garlic aioli with diced tomatoes and fresh herbs; the Spicy Chicken Kabob Platter; and the Black Angus Shawarma Platter, made with Black Angus beef sirloin and garlic aioli. All platters are served with rice, hummus, and fattoush salad. The platters are also available as wraps, filled with garlic aioli, parsley, lettuce, tomato, and onion, all wrapped in their freshly baked, house-made flatbread.
