Everything went very well. The owner is amazing. She makes several specials every single day; recites them in detail and then brings our order to the table! She knows how to use spices and seasonings just like the best chefs in restaurants in large cities. Her menu is Mediterranean with Turkish overtones. I've been there four times since February and have tried something different each time. There is a dessert I've had three times and it's spectacular; called Strawberry Dubai. YUM!! read more

Cute little Mom and Pop place! We happen to go in a little close to closing- they were so happy to seat us! They cooked up a storm without rushing us. Great menu - modest portions. Babaganoush - smoky and flavorful Hummus - creamy and smooth Octopus- tender and tasty Bronzino- salted and cooked to perfection Warm Pita - my basket was never empty Lamb Kabobs - super tasty and tender Rice - fluffy and flavorful Shepard salad - also a hit Oh and might I mention the waitress was super attentive and our glasses were never empty! She was truly part of our great dining experience. Definitely stop in this little gem of a place! read more

This has been bookmarked, finally got a chance to go. This will be one of our go tos in the area. If you love Mediterranean food, this is the place in the Treasure Coast! Very warm and friendly ambience. Not too big and noisy, it's tucked ina little u shaped plaza off Jensen Beach Blvd. Our server was selling us in the Chefs platter which we will try next time. Leslie was our server and she was terrific! She did a great job of explaining everything. The chef, Laurie came out to talk to us about the menu as well. We started with the fried artichokes and baba ganush.. amazing and the pita was wonderful as well. My husband had the branzino which he said was excellent. I had the falafel wrap which was one of the best ever. My friend had the the grilled octopus and another friend had the Ikender (?) which was a lamb dish. Everyone was very full and satisfied. The dessert ls looked incredible as well. Will have to save room next time. The warmth , family style and food will bring us back here soon. read more

Double date night perfection! Every single one of us loved every bite. Service was beyond. I'm already dreaming of what I'll try next time.

!!!Go eat at this place NOW!!! Fig & Olive in Jensen Beach delivers an outstanding dining experience that feels both personal and elevated from the moment you sit down. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the attention to detail--not just in the food, but in how the experience is curated for each guest. Our evening began with the Chef's Platter, and it immediately became clear we were in for something special. Before the first dish even arrived, the chef personally visited our table to understand our tastes and preferences--an uncommon and thoughtful touch that made the experience feel tailored rather than pre-set. The cold and hot appetizer platter was a vibrant, beautifully arranged spread that balanced freshness and bold flavor. Highlights included smoky, creamy boboganush, tender grape leaves, and crisp, addictive crispy chickpeas. The beets and feta brought a perfect sweet-savory contrast, while the hummous was silky and deeply flavorful. The pole beans added a bright, refreshing element, and the crispy cheese rolls were golden, rich, and impossible to stop eating. The experience continued seamlessly into the entrée platter, which showcased a generous and expertly prepared assortment of proteins and vegetables. From the perfectly seasoned kebabs to the delicate fresh seafood, everything was cooked with precision. The shrimp and octopus were especially memorable--tender, flavorful, and expertly charred. The fresh fish flaked beautifully, and the chicken was juicy and well-marinated. Accompanying everything were lightly grilled summer vegetables, bright with citrus from fresh lemons, and warm, pillowy pita that tied every bite together. Throughout the meal, the service remained attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every dish arrived at the right pace, plates were refreshed effortlessly, and the staff conveyed genuine enthusiasm for the food. The evening concluded with what was undeniably the highlight of the meal: Strawberries Dubai. This dessert was a stunning combination of fresh strawberries paired with house-made pistachio and tahini white chocolate--a luxurious, nutty-sweet creation that was both unique and deeply satisfying. It was the perfect ending to a beautifully orchestrated dining experience. Fig & Olive is more than a meal--it's a thoughtfully crafted culinary journey driven by hospitality, personalization, and exceptional flavor.r read more

Been back several times since our initial visit. Cheery bright decor. Their menu variety is amazing. From grandma's chicken soup to fresh squid. All great, all with a story behind it. I'm Such a little gem of a place. read more

Excellent food. The baba ghanoush was so fresh and delicious. I had a special crabcake dish, which was fresh crispy light. My friend had the chicken kebab which was also very fresh light and absolutely deliciously spiced. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. read more

I went with a friend and her elderly mom to celebrate my friend's birthday. We did lunch because Fig and Olive was still serving lunch (but thinking about doing only dinner). The meal was amazing! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful! The service was almost too much (attention-wise) because there weren't many people there. The setting is pleasant - it's easy to have a conversation and hear what your companions are saying (unlike some popular sports bars!). The food is well worth the price because the quality is over the top! read more

Everything was great!! Leslie handled the dining room like a champ! Very sweet and it was obvious this is a family run business... even "Papa" came out to help serve and do finishing touches...I had the grilled octopus-FANTASTIC! It's one of my favorite dishes but I don't like when it's served with extra stuff that has no place -this was perfect! Grilled to perfection, a drizzle of the charred lemon that came on the plate and I was in heaven!!! My husband enjoyed a few appetizers, spinach pie, stuffed grape leaves and the hummus w/pita-he enjoyed them all-took some home too! We will definitely be back! Great job Fig & Olive! read more

Very welcoming , family run place. We had the most tender and tasty octopus as recommend by chef. Lamb pita dish was juicy and flavorful. But the friendliness and warmth of the place is beyond. We felt like we visited old friends. Thank you! read more

A very cute little spot. The owner welcomed me, seated me, and ran through the specials. The service was amazing. Cozy & friendly. The food was good. I ordered a dish of "gyro like" meat. It was tasty, thought I personally would have liked less meat and more of the delicious grilled veggies. But it was what I ordered, so that is no fault of the restaurant. In short, a nice homey spot to enjoy a big old plate of tasty Mediterranean food. read more

What a cool comfortable mom & pop type restaurant that serves quality food that is comparable to any five Star Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in Turkish flavors and all home made dishes. Here you are paying a premium for this food and it is well worth it in taste and flavors. The chef is a dynamic lady with a fabulous sense of humor. The lamb kabobs were so tender you could cut it with a fork. Calamari was very lightly dusted and not over cooked. The lentil soup was very flavorful and hearty. We also had the baba ghanoush was Smokey and very flavor full and tasty. Great place and can't wait to come back and try some other dishes. read more

Recently moved to the area and was craving Mediterranean but also wanted to find a vegetarian option as we had family visiting-when this spot popped up. I'm so glad we gave it a try as it was a great experience. Upon walking in it was a wife and husband duo that were cooking and waiting tables alone, while keeping a friendly and attentive atmosphere. The woman was so friendly and funny and willing to be of maximum assistance as we had a toddler with us. We ordered a veggie w yogurt for an appetizer, small lentil soup, chicken kebab, lamb dish, falafel plate and the pistachio ricotta cake slice and she accommodated fries for our toddler. Everything was scrumptious and very authentic to their Turkish background. Portions were generous and pricing was on par. The big winner was the pistachio cake but we were definitely tempted by their Dubai offering. Overall, I'd definitely recommend and look forward to returning! read more

Went for the first time after reading all these wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint...As a vegetarian, I am usually very limited on what I can order---This place is very vegetarian friendly, from the existing menu, plus the owners/chefs are willing to be creative, which wasn't necessary as the menu was very vegetarian friendly---I can't wait to go back and order different items as it was so hard to choose. The food is the some of the best I have ever had. Its a mom/pop place with them in the back of house, and their daughter who is a fabulous ambassador for the business, works front of house. She is a treat to deal with--so happy and helpful--and loves the restaurant and her family. Best place I have been in a long time----Its a small cute place with big flavored food. read more

Excellent food, excellent service. Very friendly and welcoming. Loved the roasted beets and the hummus. The octopus was exceptional. This restaurant is a gem. The menu reflects the cuisine of the once vibrant and large Turkish Jewish Community plus select Middle Eastern staples. Virtually everything is fresh and prepared from scratch. The selection of dishes is vast. Service is fast and efficient. The room is bright and spotlessly clean . Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

Can't tell you how awesome the staff is here. You are taken care by 2-3 wait staff and head manager. Awhile ago I was looking for a restaurant that made a salad with gyro meat. Well the kindness of this manager was that she went above and beyond as she stated she would make that for me although not on the menu which made me feel special before I even went there until today. My husband had chicken kabobs with rice and roasted vegetables. He cleaned the plate! My son whom they thought we were the grandparents he set them correctly. lol He started with a mushroom and Brie soup that we shared and it was delicious! Then he had falafel that was huge! I had great salad with great dressing and nice crispy gyro meat. No where have I eaten gyro as wonderful as this was. I honestly recommend this establishment the whole of the experience and food was a perfect and remarkable and refreshing. read more

Well, the reviews are correct! I tried to come here a couple weeks ago, but they were closed. Called tonight and they welcomed us in to one of the best dinners I've had in a couple months! First of all, I'm not a big Greek fan, my wife and daughter are. I was pleasantly surprised to find they serve more than gyro's, LOL! Mediterranean dishes can be so much more with a Turkish flair. As appetizers, we had the beets and cashew dipping sauce and also the Goat cheese with fig crostini. Delicious! I was sold from the moment I tasted the goat cheese appetizer. Those were followed by the grilled octopus entre, the meat filled charred eggplant entre and the lamb kabob. We shared all three with a bottle of Merlot. All were crafted with care and the flavor profile was exquisite! We finished with a ricotta and pistachio cake which was the perfect ending - not too sweet, but played off the savory dishes so well! Boy, Oh boy, I'm hurrying back to keep sampling the menu! read more

Food is fabulous. Service is good but spotty depending on how crowded they are. The only real complaint is the times when we have gone anticipating a delicious Mediterranean dinner and we have found the restaurant closed with no warning. read more

Saw the good reviews and decided to check it out. I had the grilled Octopus which was cooked perfectly and came with a cashew dipping sauce which was incredible . Didn't need a knife to cut. My wife had the chicken cabobs also very tender. Chef owner explains the many specials not listed on menu. Our homemade desert was off out of this world. My only complaint is that the restaurant is not closer to my home. read more

Fig & Olive Cafe - STRAWBERRies LAYERED WITH MARSCAPONE WHITE CHOCOLATE TAHINI PISTACHIO GANACHE! - Mediterranean Near Me - Jensen Beach, Florida

Oh my, how have I not reviewed Fig & Olive Cafe yet? I thought I had already but this shall not be overlooked any further! SCW and I have been frequenting Fig & Olive Cafe from a few days after they opened. Right away we could see the high quality of the ingredients, the care every dish is made with and the outstanding service that comes from the owners and staff. The interior is lovely, warm and very inviting. You'll find many tables inside and a few outside if that is your preference. The decor is so warm and interesting it really adds to the space. The tables are beautiful and well crafted. The food, oh my, the food. I am vegetarian and all of the food here is simply incredible. Home made mostly from scratch using high quality ingredients, always fresh, always delicious. We have tried many of the vegetarian dishes while my current favorite is the falafel wrap. It comes in an amazing pita so rich with flavors and stuffed full of fresh veggies, onions, tahini sauce and of course the falafel. It's huge but I've always finished mine in one sitting, SCW not so much. The red lentil soup is also a favorite, it is so rich and creamy with a lemon wedge as a side. I also enjoy the spicy puree (I don't remember it's proper name) which is a real delight with just the right hint of spice and depth of flavor. I also really enjoy the roasted beets which are topped with probably the most delicious cashew cream sauce I've ever had. Really, everything I've tried here is simply outstanding. Such high quality ingredients and care go into all of the food here you simply can't go wrong with anything. If you happen to be vegan speak up, you will love what you order. They also have a selection of wine, my current go to is the Turkish white wine. It's refreshing and light and compliments most dishes. The service is amazing. Always warm and friendly no matter if it is the owners or the staff. The prices are great as well. You can also find spices, and dried figs, olives, and so much more at what we call the "gift shop" (coolers near the register which we always visit on our way out to get more goodies to go). If you like great Turkish food do yourself a favor and go to the Fig & Olive cafe. read more

I'm so happy I came across this place. First of all, the food is unbelievable, genuinely the best falafel I've ever had. Secondly, the chef is the most incredible person. When our waitress said she would take care of us, she meant it. She showed me all of her vegan options and said she can make anything I want, incredibly accommodating. She came to check in and speak with us towards the end of our meal and we could have stayed all day to chat. I can't recommend Fig & Olive enough. read more
