My husband and I dined here for the first time and had a casual celebration for our anniversary. The cesar is always good here. They have made some changes since I was last here. They no longer have food on the happy hour menu or do they have falafel croutons anymore in the cesar salad. NiMo has a really wonderful patio, with a closing roof in case of rain. When I came here for dinner, I sat inside. I had the eggplant, which was tasty. I had eaten this dish before, where the eggplant was so soft inside that it practically melted, in complete contrast to the crispy outside. I had never eaten eggplant this way- and I LOVED it this way -and I was looking forward to repeating this experience. Unfortunately, this visit, the eggplant was tougher inside, not badly so, but just that it had the consistency of normal eggplant parm. The dessert I ordered was insane. Out of this world. Unbelievable. Panna Cotta with melon balls on top and a piece of crispy prosciutto and this crunchy crumble with a consomme- every texture was so well thought out and the flavors were this bursting blend of sweet and salty. I think about this dessert all the time because the bar has been set so high now!!!! This particular plaza in Tequesta has had its fair share of various concepts over the years, but it is anchored by HomeGoods. Plenty of free parking in the lot. Can't say enough about nimo coastal Mediterranean in tequesta. The ambiance is very relaxing and technically we were seated outside but the fans made it super comfortable. The green hummus was flavorful and the pita bread was the best I've had!!!!! Ever!!!! The steak kebab with a sauce close to a tzatziki were fantastic. The croutons in the Cesar salad are falafel so they are gluten free. They weren't dry or chalky like falafel can sometimes be. The eggplant with burrata and the lamb chops were my personal favorites. The penne a la vodka had such a unique smoky spicy flavor. The pizza was my least favorite. Too many other amazing options to choose from. The Tequesta location of NiMo Coastal Mediterranean is definitely worth the drive. I attended a Yelp event and really enjoyed everything. One of the main dishes was lamb chops served with tzatziki sauce cooked to perfection! You can dine inside or on their covered patio. I also thoroughly enjoyed their Caesar salad served with falafel croutons. Very yummy! Their take on hummus was made of chickpeas, and was served with a pickled beet compote. Our usual server Jackie continues to provide great service along with advice on menu items. Jackie is genuinely a nice person. We met the new manager Tyler. He will be a huge asset to NiMo. Tyler is customer focused and is motivated by his dedication to the restaurant business. NiMo is lucky to have him as part of their management team. I must say that NiMos entire staff are so nice. My Indian friend and I were very eager to try NiMo, as one of the owners, Chef Niven Patel, is a big deal in Miami. I live in West Palm, so the restaurant in Tequesta is a bit of a hike. We showed up on a Saturday for happy hour, very pleased that they offer it on weekends. It was fairly empty, although on weekdays happy hour is apparently a big draw. The two hostesses were very friendly, and the space itself is lovely. So far so good. We sat at the bar (NiMo is one of the few places I know of where happy hour is offered at tables throughout the restaurant, as opposed to the bar only. I appreciate that -- nice touch). Unfortunately only drinks on a small cocktail list are on sale. (It's not half off all well drinks or two for one or anything.) We each ordered a tequila cocktail, though different ones. My friend was not happy with hers. Mine was just ok. The female bartender was nice enough, but lacked enthusiasm and didn't engage much, despite our saying it was our first time there. We asked about the pizza on the happy hour menu and she said it's very good, and served on a pita bread made there. We ordered that, plus a yellowtail crudo, plus the Za 'Atar chicken wings with tzatziki. I can't overstate how disappointing this food was. The pita pizza for $10 was barely worth $5. It literally reminded me of pizza I got in my elementary school cafeteria. Really? My friend said her yellowtail was not fresh. Strangest of all were the wings that I expected to pop with flavor. They were so bland. Even blander... the tzatziki sauce on the side. Tasted like yogurt with zero seasoning. We were pretty blown away. Not at all what we had expected. A male bartender working at the time was not only unhelpful with our questions regarding the food, but downright unfriendly. When a couple near us asked if he'd put on one of the tvs over the bar, he said they don't work. When I asked why they were there if they don't work, he told me management wants customers to mingle instead of watching tv. Fine, but again, why are the tvs there? He was really kind about it and you could see that he cared. After finding out no one had turned in a bracelet, we mentioned our disappointment with the food. Just wanted to share some thoughts on a new spot. Restaurant openings are difficult at best and Nimo is now on the other side and has done so quickly. We went to Nimo's today. They totally have a new menu. Use to be Mediterranean. Don't know if they are new owners or just changed the menu but whatever the new menu is great. They are more a pizza place now which you would think we have enough of pizzerias but the pizzas are not your typical pizzas. Some weird combinations but they are yummy. Our waitress was Annemiek. From the outside you would never expect the inside escape that is NiMo. The decor is light and fun and if the weather is nice dine out on the patio. Jamie was our server and I could not recommend her more. She was so attentive and gave amazing suggestions. I would never order eggplant and she suggested and it was crispy, the sauce was perfect and the burrata topped it off! We also enjoyed the goat cheese salad, the cauliflower (which was one of the winners of the night), the meatball, and penne alla vodka. Visited for the first time celebrating our 37th anniversary. The staff was amazing from the hostess to the waitstaff. We ordered from the Flavor South Florida Menu-Niko Caesar, Lamb Arayes, Hanger steak, Halibut, Lemon Poppyseed Cake,& Chocolate Brownie. Everything was delicious. The only exception was the falafel croutons were salty but they had great flavor. The atmosphere inside was very nice and was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. We did speak to a manager or owner (not sure) he was so helpful in answering questions about the menu of items we didn't order. We will definitely be back to try more items on their menu. read more

The staff was very attentive, that's the kind of service I expect to receive at restaurants. We had a pre fix food menu which included starter, main, and dessert. All three courses were very good. My only critique was the pasta had a smoky taste to it but that wasn't included in the description of the dish, so it left some people wondering if it was burnt or intentionally smoky, which the waiter confirmed it was intentional. I was up in WPB for a work trip and my friend who lives in the area suggested we meet up for dinner at NiMo. I walked up and saw a cute outdoor area with trellis and saw great decor and color schemes. I entered and was greeted by 2 nice young ladies. My friend was already there so they walked me over. We sat in the outdoor section and it was so nice. For food we decided to order a few things to pick at. We had the cheese pizza, the prawn, the green hummus and tzatziki. All I can say is that everything was absolutely delicious! The pizza had a great crust and the flavors were bright and fresh. The tzatziki was refreshing and cool. The green hummus and beets and prawns are tied for favorites of the night. Both plates were just yummy. Our servers Jaime and Mia were amazing. I was able to attend an Elite event at NiMo! It was a wonderful adventure and gave an opportunity to taste a large portion of the menu which would never happen in real life. The event was very well attended. We were seated in the enclosed outdoor section which was quite warm. The ambience is awesome. Unfortunately, due to the size of the group it was very loud. It was difficult to hear anyone not seated next to or across from you. I don't think it would be this loud on a normal business day. We tasted 3 appetizers - Pita, Steak Kebab, and Caesar salad. Of the three (and the one I didn't take a pic of) was the Caesar salad. The falafel is possibly the best I have had. We then tasted 4 entrees - Lamb chops, Penne A La Vodka, Corn Pizza, and Eggplant. I will be completely honest, I was stuffed at this point. I did not try the Lamb (choice) or Eggplant (allergy). The Penne has a very smoky flavor to it and completely shocked me as it was not mentioned on the menu. Lastly, the mousse. Quite tasty but should have been colder and without the kumquat (which I now know are really sour). All in all I had a great time! The wait staff was exceptional and the food samplings were perfect. When I return, I have multiple items I will try. As an aside, my daughter was too young to participate so she ate solo at the bar (irony). She ordered the lamb chops, she had 4 and was stuffed.
