    The Argento Sub

I came for lunch to meet a friend. It was empty and our server was very attentive and diligent. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with the fries (the sauce has some heat, but delicious). The read was very good. It tasted a bit fishy and I'm not sure why. My friend had the Argento sandwich with salad and loved it. The Arroz com Leche served warm was delicious. I'll have to go back to solidify my opinion.

The food was so delicious. I went here today for the first time. Today I tried this restaurant for the first time. I ordered the sirloin steak with papas bravas and the food was cooked to order.

One of our last stops before leaving the area. It was a bit of a drive and the drive app on yelp put us right at the Macy's store rather than in front of their restaurant. Had to call and get directions as to which and where it was. Once we arrived, the inside dining room was rather noisy so we sat on the patio. It is located in a large mall. Some of the patrons of the mall rather interesting as they traversed back and forth. Overall, the food was very good and our service was good as well. We really enjoyed their sampler platter.

I was so excited when I saw this restaurant!! We couldn't wait to try their tapas and red Spanish or Portuguese wines. The wine from Spain was delicious. The tapas were a little weird because the garlic shrimp was good, but the mussels that were supposed to be in a white wine and garlic sauce, instead it had a tomato sauce. We also ordered the Kibbeh and that was awful. When you just cut into it, it smelled spoiled, rotten. It was gut wrenching. We told our waitress, she smelled it, made a disgusted face and when she came back she said the chef said they were fresh. She took off the bill, but still she really didn't need to add it was "fresh" when we all knew it was spoiled. I ordered a garlic shrimp entree and it came with a house salad. I think that was the best thing along with my sons pasta with tomato sauce. The tomato sauce was like homemade and delicious!! I don't think we will go back, and it's unfortunate because we. Love Iberian food.

From the welcome greeting, the appetizers, the drinks, main course, and dessert was all a flavorful perfection from Chef Pablo and Dyllon. The menu itself was very diverse, a lot choices across the board. The drink menu gave us all the choices we desired. Their humble willingness to customize the food items per food allergies was greatly appreciated! The hand cut steak and pork chops were bursting with perfected spices and tender. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and the tiramisu which was homemade by Chef Pablos wife and it was delicate and exquisite. We definitely found a gem of a restaurant and will surely be back!! Highly recommend anyone to make a stop in for a meal!

Back again, as promised. Second visit also did not disappoint. Started with the boat potato ($9.80). Basically a potato skin app with bacon, spinach and Parmesan. Not bad but nothing over the top. My wife very much enjoyed the Sicilian burrito ($16.80). An Italian wrap with tender chicken, spinach, onions and red peppers cover with stringy fresh mozzarella and a simple divine tomato sauce. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was outstanding. I had the Mediterranean chimichurri and olive pork chop ($21.80) served on a sizzling plate with capers, onions and black olives. Two pork chops topped with the chimichurri sauce and served with the chef's unique fries (think little potato scoops) and a salad. Reasonably priced and very tasty.

Cliff notes: Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, friendly service. The food was well worth the price and absolutely delicious. We got the Argentinian Ribs which reminded me of my Grandpas cooking down to the authentic chimichurri. I am looking forward to coming back!

Overall, this is a nice place for a quick bite if you like tapas. But it wasn't over-the-top amazing. The service was rather meh. The staff was not necessarily rude, but they were rather indifferent and didn't seem to want to be there. We ordered 4 tapas to share. One of the items we wanted wasn't available. The items we did get were OK. Nothing special, but then again, not terrible for a quick bite if you're in the area.

The area isn't the nicest, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it. The place is very clean, cozy, and simple. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch. By the way, they have a very interesting menu with Hungarian options, some elevated American variations, and several Italian dishes.

The BLT on a croissant? Buttery, flaky croissant, thick smoky bacon, fat juicy tomato slices - typically I wouid never order a BLT on a croissant, but I went with Carol's (the manager) recommendation and it slapped! Hard. 11/10 My wife ordered the Dubai chocolate croissant and let's just say: it flexed harder than Schwarzenegger in his prime. Layers so airy they almost levitate. Smooth dark chocolate and pistachio. It's sweeeeet. If you like dubai chocolate style creations - this is otherworldly. I asked my wife what score she gives it. She didn't skip a beat. "Numbers are insufficient for that masterpiece." There ya have it! We swing by when we can for their sourdough loaf which are always 10/10. A huge shoutout to Carol, the manager. She's not just helpful - she's encyclopedic. We went two days in a row during our weekend stay in town!…read moreAmbiance (5/5): Plenty of seating indoors and some outdoor as well. Classic diner set up and ability to onlook where the wait staff prepare the finishing touches to the dishes. Service (5/5): The service for this joint is very much which made my experience. The wait staff women were a delight-- sweet, friendly, and eager to help! They provided updates, refreshed our beverages, sincere when an error was made, and provided recommendations too. Food (5/5): There is so much on the menu to try! Huge portions for an affordable rate. Don't miss out on their freshly baked goods. We loved the cinnamon bun over the coffee cake but both were very good and served warm. The pulled pork benedict special was very tender and had loads of flavor. I enjoyed the corned beef but liked the benedict more. The second day, we enjoyed omelet and brioche bun French toast.

The only issue is the traffic noise, which is considerable. The inside restaurant area is your typical breakfast restaurant with booths and tables. The outside dining area features several tables on the sidewalk with that side view of the ocean and a frontal view of all that previously mentioned traffic. For my dining experience I chose the outside. The Service: My server did a great job taking my order, making sure my drinks were replenished and actually getting my somewhat unusual hot tea with steamed milk and honey correct on the first try! The Food: Besides the traffic, here's where the restaurant falls on its sword. I ordered corned beef hash topped with poached eggs a side of "crispy" home fries and buttered sour dough toast. The Good: The highlight of the meal was the "homemade" corned beef hash. I'm always hesitant to order "homemade" corn beef hash because it's often full of items it really doesn't need. However, this corned beef hash was absolutely excellent and it was clear that it was really "homemade". The sour bread toast was also done properly and was amply buttered instead of what you get at so many places which provide a dash of butter, brushed on by a butter brush. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The Bad: My poached eggs were overdone featuring not a hint of runny yolks and those "crispy" home fries that I made a point of asking for, were about as far away from crisp as you could imagine. In fact they were probably the most mushy home fries I've ever had. The Price: I must say, the price was not bad but, I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get a better breakfast anytime!
