I've been told by many of my friends that I had to try Olympic Taverna for breakfast, especially to try their grits which, all have said are the best they've ever had. Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return. read more

I love Greek food, but this was the worst I've had ever in my life. The reviews are way too good compare to what you get. The falafel appetizer and tzatziki had no flavor at all. The chicken gyro seemed like no spices were used, i could not eat it. The greek salad was disappointing as well, with hardly any cucumber, or tomatoes. The server was kind and she also took out my dish from the bill. Overall, it didn't feel authentic at all, which was very disappointing. read more

This is one of our favorite local restaurants and we eat here often. I would love to tell you about all the different food options and how amazing they are, but my husband and I always get the exact same thing because we love it so much. I always get the gyro sandwich with a Greek salad and he always gets the Slouvaki sandwich with a Greek salad. I've tried to order gyros from other Greek restaurants, and they always pale in comparison. The prices are very reasonable and the service is always good. I love the decorations and the atmosphere, that has a really great Greek feel to it. We went this past weekend after being gone for a month and a half long trip, and it was great to be back to the food that we love. read more

10/10 one of the best Greek restaurants in town! The gyros are always very fresh with a ton of seasoning unlike some other local Greek spots. Quick service is a must since I generally always order to go for lunch while working and The blonde short haired woman (I believe her name is Sandy) is always on top of my order and has it up front waiting which I am a big fan of! The food is always good.. I had the trio platter that came with spanakopita, Moussaka and pastitsio. I had lemon soup instead of salad and lemon roasted potatoes. Very good portions. Husband had the chicken platter with lemon soup and Greek salad as his side dish. The service was good. It was fairly empty because we went early. It started getting busier before we left. They did a big carryout business . I'm not sure if it was the usual amount of carry outs or it was because it was very cold and people didn't want to go out. Was in the mood for a chill dinner and that's exactly what we had! Our server was super friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. We seated ourselves in the corner booth, which was perfect for the kiddos. The menu here is huge and very accommodating to alternative diets. I eat mostly plant based and don't do dairy/eggs and it was easy to modify many items on the menu so I was very indecisive! I ended up with the flatbread and we also ordered the mezze sampler to start. I left super full! The prices here are very reasonable and the food comes out very fast. My wife and I moved right across the street in Crane Creek back in August and we finally stopped in last night. We've had a few recommendations to come here but somehow always end up somewhere else. We weren't looking to spend a buttload on a fancy dinner last night because we had the kids. All I really wanted was a drink and some good food. While they don't have a drink menu, they do have a full bar (minus champagne, on this visit at least). They also have two Greek wines (the red wasn't so good) and a happy hour every day. I didn't catch the hours but it was a couple bucks off of cocktails, wine and draft beer. The food menu has very reasonable prices and a lot to choose from. My wife is plant-based and had a lot to choose from as far as vegan goes. The food came out super fast and the service was very friendly. Absolutely horrible customer service! Yesterday I ordered a Mediterranean chicken pita through Uber Eats and requested tzatziki sauce on the pita with an extra tzatziki on the side. When the pita was delivered it didn't have the tzatziki on the pita or on the side. I called the restaurant to let them know and Sandy, the manager, told me I could come pick up a new pita today. I called the restaurant asking for Sandy, and the manager on duty told me she doesn't work on Saturday's and he would need to call her. He called her and she didn't answer, he called me back saying he could sell me a pita at 50% off. Essentially calling me a liar, and that he would never offer a free pita for a missing sauce. I was extremely understanding when my order was incorrect but the way the management treated me when they were held accountable for fixing their mistake was appalling. As someone who spent years in the food service industry, I can't imagine treating a customer this way. read more

I visited Palm City and stumbled upon this amazing Greek place on Google maps. We were looking for healthy, authentic takeout, and this place fit the bill. We ordered patty melts, rice bowl, greek salad, a kids meal, lemon potato wedges, and the gyro, and my family of 5 ate a feast for under $70 including tax and tip. If I lived locally, this would be my go-to spot. They have a full bar and a well-appointed restaurant with plenty of seating, but did a great job at takeout. Interior design of the restaurant is very cute and the outside seating was nice. The food was unfortunately was horrible. The spanakopita was greasy and phyllo was not crispy. The lemon potatoes were basically greasy French fries and tzatziki sauce was tasteless. Won't be going back. read more

The place is kind of hidden but the location is nice. Plenty of seating inside & out. Staff is disorganized & dismissive but eventually gets it together when it's time to pay. Stopped here from out of town. Food is definitely NOT authentic Greek. Salad didn't even have olive oil. Don't order the falafel. It was horrible. Fell apart. Tasted like it had flour as main ingredient. The stuffed grape leaves are definitely from a can and the rice inside was so mushy like it's been sitting for a long time. Gyro was ok. Waitress was ignorant and inattentive. We had to call other waitresses to get her a few times. She also had an attitude. Always talking behind the bar with the lady who was running the front. The place was busy with phone orders as there were many bags on the counter. I'm assuming it's because the vicinity has limited places to eat at. The belly dancer was great. The place was 80% empty so she put on cute little dances, but could probably do better in a much busier place. Service was definitely lack less. I eat here a couple of times of month on average. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots. Their gyro meat is so flavorful. Went here for dinner last night. The decor is nice inside with a huge price of artwork on the wall. We ate outside at one of their patio tables. Our server was new, but nice. We ordered the souvlaki dinners. One with chicken breast, the other with beef and lamb. The meat was cooked perfectly and tasted really good. The rice was so-so, not a lot of flavor, same with the tzatziki sauce. The pita bread was hot and good. For dessert we shared a baklava sundae, which was a small piece of baklava, ice cream, and whipped cream, all served in a martini glass. It was good, but it was far too small.
