Such a great hidden gem! The atmosphere was so amazing. Went for brunch and it was quiet but from the start had a great experience. The hostess were so friendly and kind. We didn't have a reservation but that wasn't a problem, we were able to get a table outside. Daniel was our server and he was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make some delicious decisions. He was telling us that they are opening the back area up soon with live music. We can't wait! We also saw some dolphins playing in the water! We can only imagine the vibes at night. Our drinks were amazing and the food great! We want to come back and try the happy hour too! read more

The Nest - The charcuterie board and pork belly appetizer. - American Near Me - Jensen Beach, Florida

Beautiful new restaurant with a stunning view of water located in a private golf country club. The waitress and hostess were all outstanding. They have a beautiful bar with happy hour specials & cocktails which was a perfect to start while waiting for another couple. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar Salad and escargot. Unfortunately, we had to send back the escargot it was presented without the shell & taste was off. The plate had dairy & other stuff which is not the typical presentation for the delicate escargot. Simplicity is the best! The food was delicious but the fish (salmon & crab cake) were on the smaller side. The pork chop was over cooked but the other meals were delicious. This is a newly opened stunning restaurant with a stunning view with beautiful indoor and enclosed outdoor seating. read more

We went to The Nest for dinner and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. We started with the Caesar salad. For a restaurant at this price point, I was a little surprised that the dressing didn't seem to be homemade. We also tried the lobster bisque, which was a bit fishy for my taste and had more of a gelatinous seafood-stock consistency with pieces of lobster rather than the rich, creamy bisque I was expecting. The artichoke Francese was tasty, although it reminded me more of a pesto-style preparation than a traditional Francese. My wife had the quinoa-stuffed eggplant, which was good overall, but the sauce served with it was noticeably bitter. Overall, we enjoyed our evening, especially because of the great service and atmosphere. For the price of the food, though, it probably wouldn't be my first choice for dinner. That said, the service and setting are definitely worth experiencing, so I'd still recommend giving The Nest a try. read more

We really liked the Nest. We went around sunset, and the view was great. My husband loved his steak dish, and our appetizers all were great. I kind of wish there was a different side with my scallops, but I thought they were good. Service was a littleeeeeee slow, but not intolerable. It's nice trying a new place around here, and we will definitely be returning! read more

Although food was good, we were placed at a table by the door. As it continually opened and closed freezing cold breezes came in strong enough to mess all our hair and blow napkins off our laps. When we asked to be moved, we were told no and that they were fully booked. As we finished our meal and left, there were still two open tables. Felt very disrespected and will not return. read more

Expensive and uninteresting menu. This place has changed owners a couple of times and they do not seem to get the original charm and taste of the first owners. Not Recommended! read more

Food was good but the service was very slow. We arrived at 3:00pm on a Friday and did not leave until 5:45. We only had 2 drinks and two appetizers. My biggest complaint is when we went out to the parking lot the sprinklers were on and they were directly spraying my truck and all the cars around me on both sides of the isle. We had to wait for the sprinkler to move just so we could get in our truck. I just had my truck washed the day prior and a few water spots wouldn't bother me but the whole truck was covered in grayish color water spots. Sent an email and to the restaurant and received no response. I told them maybe they should wait till later at night or first thing in the am to water instead of later afternoon when the lot is filling up. Maybe even spend a few minutes fixing the direction they spray. read more

Went for the 1st for a special birthday. It was great, real pretty restaurant, nice views. Started with the tuna app, while it was small is was delicious!! Tuna tender and seared perfectly, a lil seaweed salad and crisp wonton, very tasty. I had the lamb shank special with polenta, tender shank and delicious; the polenta was good with the sauce, Brussels were tender. Husb had the grouper with Boursin mashed, enjoyed. Others at the table had the grouper and the sea scallops which the caramelization took them to sexy with their risotto, loved it! Nordy our server did a great job. read more

After cleaning out my uncle's condo at Island Dunes (sadly, he passed away), my husband and I decided to try The Nest at the Island Dunes Country Club, as my uncle and my mother both raved about it. Not only is it stunningly gorgeous, but it was the perfect way to end our visit on Hutchinson Island and to honor my uncle. He loved food, especially a good steak, and this is definitely the place to go! He would have LOVED the dinner we had last night. The staff is great and were so kind to us. They take fine dining to the next level and it is worth every penny. We finished every plate, which is rare for us. Were we stuffed at the end? Absolutely! Was it worth it? TOTALLY! read more

Food, service, views all of the above. We enjoy a sunset dinner with friends and will go back

The 2025 New Years Eve fixed menu was the best I've had in years. The four courses were incredible, if u have not tried this restaurant than ur missing out big time. The best on the Island & our fav including Stuart read more

Food is ordinary and bland. Menu has some interesting selections, but side dishes are mundane. Prices are high compared to other restaurants in the area. Location is not convenient to anyone but Hutchinson Island residents. Service is acceptable but not outstanding. Ambience is ordinary. Not worth the additional cost to dine. read more

Great service and (surprisingly) amazing pizza... if the weather is nice you can sit there all day.

Beautiful view and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. Food and service was top notch!

My husband Mark and I believe this is the best restaurant in the Stuart area, certainly the best on Hutchison Island! We had an unfortunate experience with another local restaurant on Valentine's Day (which also happens to be my husband's birthday and our anniversary) and had to find another option for dinner. We drove straight to The Nest and hoped for the best! They were fully booked, but gladly and effortlessly accommodated us. We even got our favorite waitress Mary! The food, as always was incredibly delicious and the vibe was appropriately romantic. Cheers to a fabulous operation with great people! Anne-Paige and Mark Motley read more

Great place to get in out of the wind but still have an amazing view. Too it off with great food and service and you have The Nest. We were trying their newly debuted lunch menu. My gourmet grilled cheese with tomato soup was perfect on this blustery day. Hubs blackened chicken sandwich was excellent. Happy hour goes from 3-9 here. Bar menu available everywhere but dining room is gorgeous and perfect for a special occasion! read more

I love the variety of gifts and home decor. You can get at the nest. And you can get your purchase wrapped !! Something for everyone!

Excellent food! Service was exceptional and I love the menu. The menu has just enough variety without being too large. This is the first place I have ever tried Affagato! Fantastic dessert! I highly recommend the Nest for special occasions and more. read more

We had a very good meal here The nest is a restaurant at the local golf club, so it has that country club feel to it. There is not anything negative about the place, except that the bar couldn't keep up like it should for the price you're paying. Our waiter was nice and did his best. Food was great. Our second time since the new owners. First time, happy hour and happy hour specials at bar. Really great. Second time, dinner and brought friends. Delicious! Back in May, we took a vacation to Hutchinson Island for the first time. It is beautiful and magical! Being from Florida, I've visited so many beaches, but this one my new favorite spots. Going to a restaurant located in a place I haven't been before is pretty exciting! Of course I checked out the eatery selection how I would whenever going anywhere new. The Nest appealed to me for multiple reasons. First off, Farm To Table is always a preference with me. Also, there was some mystery surrounding it, as it was recently taken over and was a different restaurant. At the time, their website wasn't up and running, so I couldn't find a menu to peruse prior. To go even deeper, at the time there were maybe two Yelp reviews! I went into this dining experience so blindly compared to how I ever do, yet everything turned out lovely. The setting for The Nest is located inside the elegant Island Dunes Country Club. Being that my boyfriend and I like golf, this was a pleasant surprise. The dining room had a quite different shape structualy. It had grandiose vaulted ceilings. There were large windows, and the tables were all facing them which made for incredible views. Our host even accommodated moving us to a table for four vs table for two so we could sit side by side to watch the sunset. This was already a wonderful start! When our waitress arrived, she was delightful from the jump as well. After we ordered our drinks and apps, we walked outside to check out the river. Even on a cloudy evening, it was gorgeous. On to the provisions! I ordered pepper crusted tuna medallions with a blueberry teriyaki glaze. I love anything teriyaki and the blueberry factor definitely grabbed my attention. Sadly, I did not taste a lick of blueberry, but was still a good dish. We love oysters, so we ordered the grilled ones. They were served with lump crab and garlic butter. These were tasty, but again, nothing quite out of the norm. For my entrée, I just went basic with a center cut filet with a blue cheese butter. It was served with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was cooked well, but to be completely transparent, I thought it was a bit plain. Not horrible in any means, but no pizazz either. Now on the other hand, my boyfriend's dinner was delicious!! He ordered Grilled Sea Scallops that came on top of a cauliflower goat cheese puree. It was plated next to the yummiest of creamed corn and complimented with a tomato compote. All of these flavors mixing together was really something special. Definitely stuck out amongst everything. and is one of those meals that you would go back again just to get. All this being said, The Nest had only been open 5 months when we went. I don't want this review to come off as too harsh. Like always, just offering my honest opinion based on that experience. I've recently checked out their website, and their updated menu definitely had some new items I'd love to try. The service was top notch from the moment we walked in. The food could use some tweaking, but there is tons of potential there. I hope to return to Hutchinson island, sooner vs later, and when I do, The Nest is on my list to revisit. Based on this last trip, with food alone I would have given 3 stars. However, with all the positive and memorable experiences overall, I'm going with a strong 4 stars. read more

The food was great the lobster bisque I would highly recommend. All four of us got it and we all loved it. It had a lot of lobster in it. My husband and I both got halibut and our friends got the Duck and we really enjoyed our meals. And our waitress was really nice. read more

Lovely views of water. Staff were often hovering & seemed put off with any questions or requests. Menu needs more clarification about portion size. Food was average but there were different price points. Drinks are very expensive. No happy hour options are provided without asking & then often there was no effort to clarify requests. There's a lack of genuine comfort due to very open seating plan, which provides no way to converse intimately. read more

We loved the previous Pietro's and were excited to visit The Nest. I am over the moon with the new layout out, farm to table food and delicious menu items offered. Jenna was our server and she was very knowledgeable about the food, how it's prepared and the service was top notch! We ordered the Escargot appetizer which offered a new spin on the food. Escargot with mushrooms in a tasty broth, served with bread. My husband had the veal and prosciutto over linguine. He said it was tender and the saltiness from the prosciutto made the best flavors. I ordered the Penne Al la vodka which was also cooked to perfection and a ton of food. In short, the restaurant has maintained the excellent servers, atmosphere and food so it is definitely worth a try. read more

This restaurant has long since been one of my favorites. Wonderful service and great food. We especially love the classy ambience.

Another mid day visit for their bar menu was fun although I dislike their bar. It is pushed too close to the back wall for easy movement and sitting and they have the space to do it right. The new acoustic baffles have helped lower the noise level Service is good, food is so so. I thought their chef was experienced.... My wife loves their crab bisque read more
