Every time we're in the area, we stop by to get a, to go rum runner. When we go inside there is a designated area to purchase your rum runner at the bar. It is extremely dark and smoky inside. Like if you're in there too long, you might have to burn your clothes because of the stench of the cigarettes. This time around, we went through the drive-through instead of going inside. Very convenient might I add. Most of the time we park and walk around the beach and hang out. I highly recommend stopping in and getting yourself one. Fast service, old fashions vary by bartenders and/or the establishment this one didn't make the cut. So because of that I tried their famous Roadrunner, that was frozen fruit punch that was supposed to have had a several rums in it as to my understanding, may I say it didn't taste like it had any rum in it. Sunday November 9th, I went through the drive thru with my dog, and ordered a Rum Runner with a "floater." The bill was $9.50, I handed the guy a $20.00 bill, after a few moments, he gave me a treat for my dog ....then the Rum Runner. I waited for my $10.00 change, but the guy appeared very reluctant to give it back. I suspect he tries to distract people with the treat hoping they will forget their change. read more

If you come to Fort Pierce you have to stop by The Jetty and get a frozen rum runner. It's required! I'm obviously joking but if you don't grab yourself one you will feel left out! The Jetty is a staple of the area and while walking around watching the sunset or fishing you will see people all around you sipping a straw from a brown paper bag. The frozen rum runners are currently $7.50 and worth every penny. They are sweet like a classic rum runner but they pack a punch for sure! If you're looking for something even stronger you can add a floater! If you don't want to walk into a small bar due COVID right now, they have a drive thru window! You can walk right up to the window and ring the bell and have a cocktail in your hand in less than two minutes. It's definitely a very tasty way to watch the sunsets! The frozen run runners are the best anywhere. They're strong and delicious. I've never stayed inside the bar for any period of time because of the cigarette smoke. The run runners are still a must...they have a drive thru or go in and get one and walk over to the jetty, the beach, or the swings by the waters d enjoy. read more

We popped in for one of their infamous Rum Runners to go and walked out to the nearby inlet to enjoy it (highly recommend). The drink was delicious and strong so be forewarned. The place itself is a total dive. We walked into a dark bar with 3 older men smoking cigarettes indoors which in 2022 is kinda disgusting and I don't even mind cigarette smoke but I def don't want to smell like it when I leave a bar. Also, you're steps away from the gorgeous inlet, who wants to be inside? Either way, they're known for their drive thru rum runners to go so just stick to those and you'll be good! read more

So we went to The Jetty Lounge tonight with some friends. A very entitled jerk parked in the handicap that was not handicap. My husband is a disabled veteran and asked they got to move his truck. He had no remorse. The bar tender. I believe his name was Thomas said it wasn't our business. So I took a pic of the food trash and told him I was reporting it. The bartenders got angry. I tagged the jetty lounge on Facebook and they kicked us out for it. Do NOT support am establishment that doesn't support our veterans and disabled people. This is ridiculous. Great little dive bar. It is a smoking bar, but they have a lot of smoke eaters so it's not as smoky. The Rum Runners are what everyone says "to die for"!! Well, if you are in an area that claims to have the best "something" you gotta try it. So best Rum Runner? I'm in!!!! I'm thinking by the amount of motorcycles it's a biker bar. Duh! Everyone was friendly even though heads turned when were walked in. A few of my friends opted to stay outside because of the smokiness inside which is overwhelming. We ordered 4 to go and they come in these adorable bottles with a straw and a brown bag. I didn't realize they were going to be frozen rum runners but they were good and once melted somewhat even better. My friends have said they have come in the past and the rum runners were horrible but they took one for the team because I wanted to try it. Her attitude was the worse I've even seen in my life. Even in front of a Manager she continued to yell and point her fingers. Great dive bar. My wife is a rum runner connoisseur and she rates these very high on her list. The to go rum runners are awesome for a walk on the jetty. I liked the beers in the jars. The customers are quite a show. We sat next to a loud large lesbian who said we should take her pic because some day we will see her on the news taking a dump on the White House lawn. Great dive bar entertainment! We stopped here 7 days in a row...and we've never done that at any other bar. It's just so much more fun than the high traffic and high tourist price places around it (square grouper, manatee island, on the edge). We will definitely go back next year for sure. Its best known for it Rummer Runners (aka Jetty Juice) which is made from Everclear Grain Alcohol) and a pre made frozen mix. If you enjoy one inside it will set you back $5.00 if you purchase one to go its $7.00. They serve it in a small, milk container looking plastic bottle and then put a small brown bag over it. You will literally see people walk in non stop to get their Jetty Juice for the beach. I like the place and have never had a bad time there. read more

This spot was recommended to me by a local Lyft driver- he told me I had to try their Run runners!!! I was not disappointed- inside is a bit much if you are not a smoker but for that you can use the Drive thru and avoid the heavy cigarette smoke. This aside this is a must go. Not much is open late in this area but luckily this Dive Bar provides the perfect late night watering hole right by a drive through Liquor Store just steps from the sand. They're known for their potent Rum Runners served frozen in a styrofoam cup. It's a cash only establishment with plenty of drinks served all night to keep you thoroughly quenched. I ended up having a room at the hotel directly next to it which meant I could see the bar from my rooms balcony. After walking in and slurping my drink, I had the experience of a true dive bar with zero frills boasting hefty pours of hard drinks after everything else was closed. I couldn't believe there was a drive through liquor store located on premises, it was truly a proud moment to be an American. You can smoke inside which to me is a plus...its the best late night spot in the beach area of Ft. Pierce so stop by for a midnight drink when visiting the area. read more

I'm not going to lie, the first time I went here, it was a little ratchet. A guy was standing in the parking lot, super drunk, talking to someone and - I'm not kidding - passed out while standing straight up. This kid hit the pavement and people gathered around to help him but he didn't wake up until the ambulance arrived. Meanwhile, two guys inside the bar area got into a fight over a girl and another girl started stripping. I doubt this was anyone at the Jetty's fault, but this is the crowd. As I am young, wild, and free myself, I don't really mind the crowd. Actually, I enjoy a good story to tell when I go out for drinks with my friends, and because this place was pretty packed, we made a few friends too. The bartenders were super quick too. UNPOPULAR OPINION: I hate the rum runners. I think they taste like the cherry medicine your mom forces you to drink when you're a kid and you have an unexplainable fever. BLEH. But everyone else seems to love them, so I think it's probably just me? And you can get them to-go, which probably isn't the best idea for this crowd but I bet they make a killing off of it. read more

Florida Fun Fact 6 (see other Florida reviews for 1-5): Florida is a fucked up place. You can buy frozen cocktails to go and drink them hobo style from a paper bag! The Jetty lounge is a local bar that serves to-go frozen Rumrunners! That is right. TO-GO! So my Mom first took me here 6 years ago. Thanks Mom! I remembered it as a highlight then and now it is like getting my picture taken with Mickey Mouse, a memory that I will cherish forever. I walked into the place and the bartender approached and I said "One to-go please." I then actually hopped up and down and clapped my hands, it really is just like seeing Mickey Mouse. She saw my excitement and commented on how happy I was, boy was I ever! So you get one frozen cocktail to-go in a hobo bag and you leave to do what you will. Guess what I did. I drank it on the Jetty! Only the fanciest of hobos drink frozen cocktails on the jetty. If only I had a top hat and a monocle, then everyone would know for sure as to my status amongst the hobo elite. If you have any qualms about reeking of cigarette smoke, then avoid this bar. It's usually packed with twenty-something & fifty-something locals - not much in between.
