I honestly came in with pretty average expectations, but the food was better than I expected. The fried appetizers were solid, especially the onion rings and tater tots. The cookie ice cream sandwich was a fun surprise and a great way to end the meal. The wings were decent. They weren't anything I'd go out of my way for, but they had a good variety of sauces and flavors. I just hope they keep refining them because they're close to being really good. The prices were fair, especially for a neighborhood sports bar. It was easy to watch the matches, grab a beer, and hang out without feeling like you were overpaying.

The food was really good too- I definitely recommend the grouper sandwich and pretzel appetizer. It's also family friendly with an arcade and kids specials. While the service couldn't have been friendlier, it was a little slow which is why I had to knock it down a star. Also, we ate inside so we didn't experience this, but we heard it can get a little loud outside with the live music so just keep that in mind... but this was my family's second time here and if/when I'm back in Vero Beach, I'll be sure to return!

We were seated outside, which was fine, but from there everything went downhill. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. It was difficult to get drinks refilled, and it felt like our table was forgotten for most of the meal. The food was just as disappointing. Several meals arrived lukewarm, the quality was poor, and nothing really stood out as worth the price. It's frustrating because this restaurant used to be one of our favorite places to eat in Vero Beach, but each visit seems to get worse instead of better. The beachfront location is still beautiful, but great views can only make up for so much. Based on this experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere.

The service felt more like a cafeteria or diner than a restaurant with these prices. It wasn't very friendly or welcoming, and for what you're paying, I expected a much better dining experience. One thing that stood out was that we were never told about any specials, yet we overheard our server explaining them to another table nearby. That made us feel overlooked. The décor also felt very outdated, with a 1970s atmosphere that just wasn't appealing to me. I understand some people enjoy a nostalgic vibe, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm glad we gave it a try because the prime rib was very good, but overall the experience wasn't enough to bring us back.

The cheap towels didn't absorb anything. When she returned, I asked her what she suggested we do and she said put the liquid and ice back into the cup it fell out from. lol. Listen, I know it's annoying when someone spills something and we're adults, but this customer service was terrible. We were treated like we punched a baby. Every time the server came to the table, she took one person's order and walked away immediately. We thought it was so strange but maybe she was busy. We eventually decided that we did not want to dine here anymore.. And when we asked for the bill, we took our 8 top else where. I'm not asking for over the top service, but mistakes happen. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the reputation. We started with chips and salsa, and the chips tasted exactly like Tostitos straight out of a bag. The salsa wasn't bad, but it felt more store-bought than house-made. The smash burger was cooked fine and came with a generous portion of chips, but it wasn't particularly memorable. Nothing about it stood out from what you could get at countless other casual spots around town. If you're looking for a laid-back place to enjoy the waterfront atmosphere, Little Jim's delivers. If you're coming strictly for the food, you may leave wondering what all the hype is about.
