Perfect beach bar. Right on the water with indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of tvs and a pretty…read morelarge menu. The food was really good too- I definitely recommend the grouper sandwich and pretzel appetizer. It's also family friendly with an arcade and kids specials. While the service couldn't have been friendlier, it was a little slow which is why I had to knock it down a star. Also, we ate inside so we didn't experience this, but we heard it can get a little loud outside with the live music so just keep that in mind... but this was my family's second time here and if/when I'm back in Vero Beach, I'll be sure to return!

We were seated outside, which was fine, but from there everything went downhill. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. It was difficult to get drinks refilled, and it felt like our table was forgotten for most of the meal. The food was just as disappointing. Several meals arrived lukewarm, the quality was poor, and nothing really stood out as worth the price. It's frustrating because this restaurant used to be one of our favorite places to eat in Vero Beach, but each visit seems to get worse instead of better. The beachfront location is still beautiful, but great views can only make up for so much. Based on this experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere.

Strangely we tried to go to a nearby restaurant that closed at 2 pm for lunch. The hostess there recommended Bobbie's and as they say a person in the trade recommending somewhere is a good sign. Apparently famous for French dip - I tried it and nothing special but ok and hit the spot. My wife had blackened Salmon which was large and she could not stop overeating it. They are also renown for fresh fish so not surprisingly the Salmon was first class. Separately there is a bar that was full but strangely they had no fraught beer available in the restaurant. Service attentive and would go back again if the opportunity presents between 2 and 5 and could not get into other place.

The service felt more like a cafeteria or diner than a restaurant with these prices. It wasn't very friendly or welcoming, and for what you're paying, I expected a much better dining experience. One thing that stood out was that we were never told about any specials, yet we overheard our server explaining them to another table nearby. That made us feel overlooked. The décor also felt very outdated, with a 1970s atmosphere that just wasn't appealing to me. I understand some people enjoy a nostalgic vibe, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm glad we gave it a try because the prime rib was very good, but overall the experience wasn't enough to bring us back.

We sat outside along the water where there are lots of tables with umbrellas. Live music played on the deck, which is covered and provides more shade if you would like it. Our group of four ordered the peel and eat shrimp which were well-seasoned, cooked to perfection and a very generous portion. We ordered the blackened red snapper tacos, which were one of the specials, and we also ordered the redfish sandwich with a side of collard greens. The beers were cold and the food was hot. If you would like a relaxed, tropical island, vibe, go and enjoy!

Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the reputation. We started with chips and salsa, and the chips tasted exactly like Tostitos straight out of a bag. The salsa wasn't bad, but it felt more store-bought than house-made. The smash burger was cooked fine and came with a generous portion of chips, but it wasn't particularly memorable. Nothing about it stood out from what you could get at countless other casual spots around town. If you're looking for a laid-back place to enjoy the waterfront atmosphere, Little Jim's delivers. If you're coming strictly for the food, you may leave wondering what all the hype is about. I'd come back for the setting and a drink, but I'd be hoping for a stronger showing from the kitchen next time.
