Door Dash brought me my lunch today from Twisted Lime. I got a bowl with Chicken, no tomatoes. No real flavor that popped! I was excited for the drizzle and it was meh. We also ordered the kid quesadilla with a side of fruit which were strawberries so that was nice. :) I will say it seemed healthier than other delivery, with black beans, corn, avocado, rice plus the protein of your choice. SERVICE! Would love to give a negative number! You can walk in the door and be seated. The waitresses can help everybody around. You clear the tables and still not bring you a water or acknowledge you..... it's been almost 20-minutes and we are still waiting. Waited for 30-minutes never had Anyone say hello NOTHING! 4-waitstaff working - plus someone bussing tables. Asked & said they would get someone ... NOPE! Had the waitress get boxes .. chat it up, bring food to people round you.... TERRIBLE SERVICE! Way behind on reviewing this business. I was here in September with friends. Lovely place for food and a cocktail. I really like the atmosphere and the decor. Excellent happy hour menu. We went here twice during my visit. The only thing we noticed our last visit was it was pretty empty there and service took a very long time. The girl at the bar didn't acknowledge us but a server eventually came over. The flatbread pizzas are good and you can't beat its price during happy hour. What an amazing surprise to have a chimichurri steak that was as tender as the best filet mignon I've ever tasted! My husband enjoyed his Octoberfest Burger as well. I recently visited the "Twisted Lime Restaurant and Bar" located off Federal Highway in Vero Beach next to the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area. The space is light and bright with nice energy at the bar. The décor is vibrant with some murals, and several big-screen TVs covering all the latest sports games. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a game while indulging in some good Mexican inspired food. The menu offers a great mix of classic bar food with a Mexican twist and scrumptious Tacos!! We started with the house-made guacamole and chips, which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also enjoyed their Flatbread Pizza. Their drink menu was just as impressive, with a wide selection of beers, margaritas, and tequilas. I ordered their Mango Ghost Margarita which my partner loved, but me not so much, so I switched to the Classic Margarita and this was perfect for me. The energy in the room during game time was contagious and fun. Amazing!!! Been watching on instagram and when we got near one we had to stop!!! Happy hour they have $6 chips and guacamole and chips and salsa as well, sadly no free items here. Also have $6 margaritas and $4 Guinness too Recommend the ghost pepper margarita!!!! Enjoyed the chicken quesadillas and their tacos are very unique and tasty. Service was top notch, with plenty of outdoor bar seating and abundance amount inside I can't imagine there is ever a wait here. They have a bar inside and outside and clean bathrooms. We think this place is consistently good& that is hard to accomplish! We have enjoyed a few traditional margaritas but we tend to go for the three taco platters. We have had each choice a few times n love them all.The 2Korean choices are our faves-I'm partial to the cauliflower and my husband the pork-my daughter loved the carne asada. Well, we made our last visit yesterday. They instituted the auto 18% surcharge on your check. Also, they want a bump if you use a credit card which we don't. Ive always tipped 20-30% so your loss. I don't see relationship between me tipping my server and your benefits pkg. Im sure tips are pooled to split with the kitchen too which is another scam. We've been here twice now and would definitely come back again. The 1st time we came we had their Burgers. The Vero Burger is very good with those caramelized onions and melty Brie. And the Whiskey Burger is finger licking good. This 2nd time we came we got their tacos. The Asian chicken tacos were delicious good combination of flavors as well as the Korean Carnitas. Top 2 I would recommend. The carne asada tacos were good as well. However the Far East Fish tacos were very bland and not seasoned. The Yuka fries are a must try as well! I visit twisted for a quick lunch with my kids before heading to Publix. We ate outside near the bar. The restaurant is empty to be honest, so seating was quick. The food looked fresh, the drinks were very good. My only problem a mother with a 3, 4 and 8year-olds WHY is there charge "gratuity fee" ??? 1. You think I was going tip well enough? 2. Parents with Kids are charged extra? 3. even the receipt suggest what I should tip never did it say I would be charged gratuity!!! There is nothing in the menu or on the website that states I would be charged EXTRA?? I would NEVER go to that establishment with a family again!!!! The Twisted Lime badly needs shades or blinds for its windows. For anyone facing the large windows the sun glares into your eyes. It ruined my experience. My food was good but overpriced. The server did not check to see if we needed refills on our drinks. I would not recommend it. read more

So many reasons I love Twisted Lime. My goto place to bring my local women's social group for a meal and more. One of the best happy hours in town. Not just drinks, but food specials. On top of that, they offer the HH through out the restaurant. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and buffalo cauliflower. You can't go wrong also with their international flare in the monthly "bowl" specials. Last the manager and staff are polite, efficient, and able to offer separate checks. As an organizer of events I know it's a lot to give individual checks. The fact they were so kind about it would be another reason to return. Looks better than it tastes. Ordered three tacos ahi one had avocado that wasn't ripe. The shrimp one tasted like pre- breaded shrimp that was deep fried. Pulled pork one was as described. The pincho was gross. The steak was subpar and had no flavor. Tasted like raw meat even though it was cooked. Almost everything we ate was overpriced and weak. Inside is beautiful and Florida. What a fun find! Twisted Lime has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Vero. The vibe is lively and tropical, with great music, friendly staff, and a menu that doesn't play it safe (in the best way). We started with the firecracker shrimp -- crispy, spicy, and addicting. The tacos were awesome (try the Mahi and Korean BBQ!), and the portions were generous. I also had a ghost pepper margarita that was -- spicy but balanced and super flavorful. Service was upbeat and attentive, even on a busy night. It can get a bit loud inside, but that's part of the energy. If you want something more chill, grab a seat outside. This was a place that we found highlighted on a TikTok video. We happened to be in the area for a day trip and decided to stop in. It's a large place with a ver open atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very patient as we tried to make up our minds on that to order. The drinks were fantastic and the tuna nachos were an experience unlike any other. I was not expecting them to be so good. Everything was very flavorful and tasted very fresh. We would certainly be back and recommend to others. read more

it was our first time at Twisted Lime. The fish and chips were very good, although the side of cole slaw was an inadequate portion, actually it was a joke compared to where we come from and enjoy fish and chips meals regularly. Also, we weren't thrilled with the 18% gratuity automatically added to our bill, although were informed about it by our server. Our issue with the gratuity is that it doesn't encourage good service, as the server is guaranteed a reasonable tip no matter the quality of the service they provide. Example: we asked for extra napkins, and we never got them. I had to ask for more water. The server didn't check on us after she served our lunch, only to bring us our bill. We didn't feel welcome or appreciated, as it felt like an impersonal environment, and we believe it is associated with the guaranteed gratuity. First time trying Twisted Lime and I'll say we weren't disappointed! It's unusual for us to order take out for trying a new restaurant but we wanted to stay in. Placing the order over the phone was very quick and easy, and picking up the food was quick as well! When standing at the host stand, every employee that walked by asked if I was had been helped yet, which I thought was very nice. It seemed very nice inside, open lighting, multiple tvs to watch the news or a game, and the patio bar looked pretty busy. Went to Twisted Lime last night and had an awful meal. Twisted lime what is with the flies in the booth area??? Get that corrected! Ordered extra blackening on shrimp tacos, they came out with almost no blackening. Corn tortillas were ripped making the tacos impossible to hold. The Mahi Mahi taco was fishy. Thankfully, the Guacamole was very good. Servers and staff are completely apathetic from the time you enter the restaurant and until you leave. Will not be going back anytime soon. read more

Went to this new establishment last night for the first time with two other friends. No beating around the bush; It was quite disappointing. We had expected much better. There was really no aesthetic changes to the layout of the restaurant from its former existence; only a different color theme of lime green to coincide with its new name. We sat outside on the patio at the bar for happy hour before dinner. Happy hour is 2-5 Mon-Fri only at the bars or high-top tables. There were two servers who got the drinks served but interacted very little with the patrons. They were busy talking to each other. We all ordered draft beers which were $3 and ice cold, however house wines are $6 and house liquors $6. We also ordered the happy hour guacamole and chips which was $7. The guacamole was fresh, but the chips were just okay. Not cool were aging brown limes being used in the cocktail drinks. After happy hour, we moved to a low table also outside on the patio, but only after waiting 10 minutes to close out our tab at the bar. The waitress took our orders, and our meals were brought out by someone from the kitchen within 10 minutes. The pork sandwich was okay, but cold. The blackened shrimp tacos were good, but the side of street corn side was cold. The quesadilla was just okay as was the side of rice and beans that came with it. Everything was just very average. The waitress never came back by to ask if we'd like waters or a drink other than the beer we sat down with when we moved from the bar. However, the 32 oz. soft drinks, tea, Powerade, etc. come with a charge of $1 for refills. At most restaurants, refills are no charge. They had live entertainment on the patio (a gentleman singing in the corner by the bar). It was nice, but loud at times making it hard to hold conversations at the table. Probably softer acoustic listening music would be better during the dinner hour. Overall, we just weren't impressed by the service or the quality of the food. Like its predecessor, the Twisted Lime may be good just for happy hour (at least for those who can get off work early before it ends at 5:00.) read more

It was a process getting her attention away from chatting with other staff, or the excruciating length of time she spent on each POS entry. Let's start with getting there; the location is a large strip mall with some fast food, one-off strip mall places, banks, and a grocery store. I wanted to like this place, but not so much. We sat at the bar, and they had Kelly Rippa's morning show on and some other channel, no sound and no music. The place is so large and at the height of the lunch hour, only four tables are seated, no music, and an empty bar area is not a good sign or look to a potential new customer. The wine list severely lacked options, and no wine menu existed; the bartender did not know the wines offered, and the temperature was less than chilled. The menu for me wasn't thrilling; Don't be fooled by the restaurant's online photos. I ordered Bayou Tacos, a room temperature flour tortilla (fail), three medium-sized shrimp and a conglomerate of toppings, mostly beans, and corn, a "few pieces" of cabbage, and the worst was avocado that was old with a layer of brown. VISUALLY, it looked delicious; however, it was not FRESH at first bite. The ingredients were barely warm; again, the toppings tasted like they had been left out. There was no authentic flavor except the "bayou" spice on the shrimp. Lastly, my side was the cucumber salad, horrifically bland, with ZERO flavor, and again not fresh! Twisted Lime gets a 1 and does not make the "MUST GO" list. read more

We went to check this place out, during the Bills game. They were featuring beef on weck sandwiches, a favorite among western New Yorkers. The first red flag as that the waiter had no idea what that was. So we explained how and why it was a featured item on the online menu. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 beers. The waiter had to come back two times to clarify my wifes beer order (blue moon) the bar tender came back 2 times as well, (tough order!) The sandwich they served was not on a Kimmelweck roll, just a hamburger bun and the beef was more fat than meat. It was the worst ever. Less than half of my meat was edible, what kind of cook lets that go out the window? What is the point of saying you can serve that sandwich when you have no idea what it is? When the bill came the fake beef on weck sandwiches were $15 each and they add an automatic tip of 18% to your bill so the waitstaff can earn a decent tip no matter what. This was our first trip in there and our last. What a joke. read more

Had a very enjoyable lunch at Twisted Lime! It's very large on the inside. I bet it would be a great place to watch a sports game, as there are many very large TV's. But coincidentally enough, that's totally not the vibe it gives off (which for me is a good thing). We had a few apps and drinks and were on our way, but everything was very good! The server was very attentive, but not over-bearing, which is a great balance to strike. I hope to return in the future to spend some more time & money on dinner or something more in-depth. She knew we were new customers and took the time to explain not only the menu but informed us of all the live bands, dj's, specialty drinks, checked on us without interfering and saying"is everything ok" multiple times, she walked by, assessed the situation without being obtrusive.
