Beautifully decorated and friendly hostess, but food a big disappointment. Soup and chili were excellent. Quesadillas were good and large. Guacamole was good, but served with smashed up chip crumbs. Tacos were not good at all - soft corn tortillas were cold and dry and fell apart first bite. Had 5 different tacos - none were good. Proteins were scant with a little dry slaw sprinkled on top. 2-22-25 went in with family (6 of us) to have dinner, while standing and waiting to be seated we were looking at all the open tables that were dirty wondering why don't they clean them and the 4 parties sitting and waiting can sit. We asked the hostess and she then started cleaning tables and sat us. A older gentlemen in a grey polo came over said Drinks... We gave drink order and l started saying we would like to order a appetizer and he walked away. later he brought 3 drinks back and walked away, came back much later and brought the other 3 drinks and walked away as l was trying to talk in a much louder voice to get his attention. he went and took drink orders for 2 other tables and then came back to each of them and took both their food orders and they both were sat after us and we had been ready to order but not given the chance. He went back up to the hostess stand and stood there and would look at me every few seconds with a stare. We tried to get another waiters attention (younger surfer looking dude that was flirting with the table next to us for about 5 min) and he just walked by. We stood up and left. Will never go back if this is going to be the service provided. Would love to talk to a manager about this experience. read more

Cassandra & I entered twisted lime the decor is vibrant with tropical oasis vibes definitely a cozy casual place they have regular seats or large booths. All food came out fresh and with short wait times we started off with queso & chips the chips you can tell are made in house we also started with the empanadas 3 decently sized stuffed with beef the aioli on top is delicious. We both got tacos I got one shrimo taco & one carne asada taco with a side of Yuka fries & Cassandra got 3 pulled pork tacos with a side of tater tots. Over all the food was delicious, fresh & flavorful I liked that the menu a lot of different options. read more

My husband and I dined at Twisted Lime on a Friday afternoon and it was AMAZING! It wasn't too busy when we arrived and were sat at a table near the window which was really nice. Our server's name was Mckenzie I believe and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and gave great recommendations.We started with the Poutine, I had the Memphis BBQ Pork tacos, my husband had the Whiskey Burger, and we ended on the churro waffles! We didn't have a single complaint, our food was delicious! (I also took a taco home to give to my mom to try and even she said it was delicious just heated up!) Mckenzie checked up on us during the perfect times and really is a great server. We'll definitely be coming back with our family soon! read more

The only reason I'm not giving this place a zero is because our server, Marianna, was very nice and professional. Other than that this place is a culinary dumpster fire. The food is flavorless cardboard that is certain to have me shot gunning the back of the toilet in less than an hour. The music was hideous. It was as if they had some contract to play star search country rejects out of pity for them. Political shows peppered the televisions and when you are trying to have a drink and forget about troubles that's the last thing you want to see. It was clear God's waiting room was over packed and the Fire Marshall demanded people disperse and go somewhere else. The somewhere else is the Twisted Lime. Don't wait on Jesus.......save yourselves by not going to this place. read more

This restaurant opened up in the old American Grill location today (01/15/24). Very busy as it was the first day of opening. We used to always love this location as it was close to home. Met many friends tonight.... However, when the bill came everyone was in shock!!! The prices for drinks have gone through the roof. The price for a well drink (whiskey & ginger ale) was 8.00 bucks! are you kidding me? Oh, BTW, they didn't have ginger ale so sprite was the second option. Draft beer 7.00. The food was good. The initial service was good. CHECK your bill. We had 4 glasses of wine & were charged for 8 bottles of wine! It took almost an hour and the manager to straighten it out. They also include a 20% gratuity, but it is somewhat hidden and not on the receipt that you sign - that also asks for a tip amount. Very active atmosphere but the TVs for an odd reason were all out of sync. Made it hard to watch games because of the delay. Super weird. Food was OK. Drinks were good. Best things we had were chicken tortilla soup and soup of the day which was a cactus chili. They are new and they were swamped but service was friendly and timely. read more

Excellent food and service! I have hosted two events here (Celebration of life & another party), and both times, my guests were happy with their food. All 20 people were happy and took food home. Their portion sizes are amazing. I don't know how they do it. My guests and I will return many times. They have 2 event rooms and a covered patio bar. Some uncovered seating for pets, I'm guessing. Live music and many TVs. I know for a fact the kitchen is clean. read more

We went there for the first time last night. This is the only restaurant in town that charges for refills on iced tea. Not even the fancy ones charge for that, and this new restaurant has the nerve to charge $1 for refills. Then we got our meals which had everything on the burger I ordered when I asked for nothing on it. Then the street corn off the cob was cold when there was no explanation of that on the menu or from the server. We asked for a replacement side and received it at the end of our meal. Then we got the check and were charged for the replacement side. I would not recommend going here. read more

Not a review of the food...we never got to try it so maybe this review isn't fair. We were excited that TL was finally open. We went there on Saturday night only to find that there was a hour wait. I walked along the bar hoping to find two seats but nada. We left. Not upset about the wait....it happens. But, first impressions of the restaurant are not good. The lighting is extremely bright and the place is very noisy. Light colors, including the furniture. All this made the restaurant very uninviting to us. My wife said it reminded her of a cafeteria! Family outing to The Twisted Lime Restaurant & Bar 5 s. Had the in-laws arrive a few minutes ahead to get the table queue started, seated faster than expected. We did end up in a bit of a confused part of the dining room where no one knew who was supposed to be our server so we did wait a good while before the star of the show, Amanda, greeted us, stepped up even though it wasn't technically her table, got us all ordered up and saved our entire first visit. Any return visit we will absolutely be requesting to sit with Amanda. After that came the food, exceptional. The whole table except our 4yr old (classic chx tenders which were huge and DELICIOUS) got an assortment of tacos. The only one that wasn't top notch was the Mahi, it was either improperly cleaned or just not fresh wild catch. Still good but not great. However every other taco was a hard 10. Most liked was the Asian chicken teriyaki. Finished things off with key lime pie which was solid even if not the BEST in town, it's easily great. So all in all, a 5 star visit, 100% will return, super excited to have found another great food place in Vero after moving Jupiter where we really had our spots dialed in. Table of 5, with tip, under $20/head (we aren't the libations type so that's with three standard soft drinks only) with exceptional food, and left happily full, cannot beat it. They've removed the built in 20% gratuity, however, I would suggest it is a fair thing to have had for the early days because people often mistake issues with the food as being something to hold back tip so in the early days while they're figuring things out, just tip for good service and let them get through the stress tests. People concerned over drink prices, $8 for well cocktail, that's not bad. Alcohol prices have gone up and that's still not an expensive starting point. It may feel that way for the area but it isn't unreasonable. Pricing was fair throughout the menu for what is being served. read more

I've been several times and each time I've tried something different and am always delighted!! The fusion is great! It's a nice place and such a refreshing change from all the chains and sports bars around!! Twisted Lime also has live music! I have to commend all the staff. Never had a waitress or runner who look as though they weren't enjoying their jobs!! It must be the general manager, Kathleen, who maintains such a great experience for all at Twisted Lime! Always checking with customers to ensure they are happy and a small chat. Always with a bright smile for everyone. I highly recommend!!! And if you're not near, it's worth the ride!! read more

I've had mixed reviews in the past with two really bad meals including a very dry overcooked hamburger. I've recently had a much better experience. I have found a couple of starters I really like , the Guacamole Fresco minus jalapeños and the Sesame Chicken. The only issue I have was we asked if we could get the quac without the jalapeños and the server said no problem, it's made fresh to order. My girlfriend and I shared it and it was wonderful. We went the week or so later and we decided to get the same thing. We made the request for the quac not to have jalapeños and she said they can do that. Once it came it was spicy and we both don't like spicy. We asked about the spicy and she said she would check with the chef. Apparently, they had jalapeños as that's all they have made even tho we requested it to not have any. She said they would replace the order and the chef will make it without . Based on the many positive reviews, we ventured to twisted lime after a visit to McKee Gardens. We were anticipating really good food and service. At the check-in station, we waited a while for someone to recognize us to be seated. It did not appear to be here any hostess or manager or assistant manager. The bartender was at the bar talking to two patrons. I thought maybe she could've come over and maybe taking care of us since all of the waitress were running around. We ordered margaritas that were made with the mix. After our first margarita was finished, we inquired about our food and the waitress went to check in and brought it out. I was under the impression it had been sitting there for a while. All the tacos had good flavor butwere lukewarm, but the plantains which were so maybe the tacos are waiting for the plantains I don't know. Anyhow, with six months of being here. I guess we are snowbirds with money to spend we'll go On to the other many restaurants on our list. too bad we were hoping for better here. read more

Twisted Lime has a wonderful fresh vibe! The menu offers a fusion of incredible tacos, flatbreads, salads, smashburgers and much more! The desserts are over-the-top and incredibly delicious! Drinks were perfect and reasonable in price. Highly recommend the Korean Carnitas, Chicken Tacos, Quesadilla, and save room for dessert! Sopapillas and Fried Ice Cream are both so delicious and huge portions! Beautiful decor, private room for events and an indoor bar plus a large outdoor bar in the back of the restaurant! Our visit didn't start off the best. The hostess left us and another couple waiting while she talked with a large table. Our experience was great after that. We enjoyed our food and drinks, but the real star was our server, Brooke. It was obvious that she enjoyed her job. She was personable, yet professional and efficient. She made our night!
