Small seafood restaurant with a big crowd inside and out…read more And it is no wonder. The food, service, and comfortable tables speak for themselves. For starters, the calamari was perfectly crispy and fresh. Sauce ok, but the calamari was good all by itself. I highly recommend the butterflied snapper with steamed veggies. Delicious! The veggie pasta plate was huge and the pasta cooked to perfection. The shrimp scampi pasta was sooo good. The linguini was perfectly al dente and the shrimp big and plump and yummy. Oh! And let's not forget the mile high key lime pie. Even if you don't care for key lime pie you will absolutely love this one. It's more like a key lime ice cream but better. Servers were fantastic despite the busyness of the place they never neglected to check on us. Great place. Highly recommend.

It can be pretty frustrating, especially if you're visiting for the first time and end up driving around in circles trying to find it. Once you arrive, though, it's worth the effort. The restaurant is located right on the water next to the boat ramp and has an enormous amount of parking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full bar area. The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

Beer & Wine I…read morehappened upon Vine & Barely as a result of popping into an adjoining business and having the luck of parking in front of V&B. As it was a Friday night, they had some live music which caught my attention, so I popped in to have a look. As the name implies, they serve Wine and Craft beers, I'm not much of a beer guy, so most of my review will be about the wine side of things. I grabbed a seat at the smallish bar and ha look at the offerings - the wine selection was definitely not the usual suspects (a pet peeve) and after a few minutes I was sort of not sure of what I wanted. The young lady working the bar stepped in and asked me what I like- I explained my usual taste profile - medto heavy body and on the spicier side of things and she recommended a Pinot Noir, which would I not have normally thought of - she merely said "you have to try this". She was right on the money with that recommendation. The wine was fabulous and the music was going on so I sat back and had a look around: cozy place with a good number of tables scattered around - I would think this is more of a date place or a night out with good friends. Definitely not a beer and shot vibe here. The beer side of the house is definitely a decent choice as well - if you like beer. They have 20-some beers available on tap or canned. Like the wine, they can walk you into a perfect choice if you can describe what you like. A couple came up to where I was sitting and ordered a charcuterie board, so I had a look at the small sampling of nosh items. I was considering the same charcuterie board but it turned out to be larger than expected when they finished making it for the folks that ordered it so I went for a smaller bite. The food offerings are all centered on meats / cheeses / pretzels and some desserts. They do not have full on entrees- so plan accordingly. All in all, a great spot- I have been living here for 3.5 years and yet, this place had escaped my attention. Not anymore! Definitely will put it into the rotation. Parking lot available

That level of hospitality never dropped throughout the night. It truly felt like the entire team was working together to create the best possible experience, from quickly clearing empty plates to refilling water and even adding freshly grated parmesan without us having to ask. We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo, and it set the tone for the entire meal. The truffle oil tied the dish together perfectly--rich, balanced, and absolutely delicious. For our mains, we ordered the Pappardelle di Limone with shrimp and the Fettuccine ai Frutti di Mare in pomodoro sauce. Both were phenomenal. The lemon cream sauce on the pappardelle was to die for--bright, smooth, and incredibly flavorful--while the seafood fettuccine was just as impressive. Honestly, this might have been the best pasta I've had in my life. Our waitress, Sophia, was phenomenal. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable about the menu. She answered all of our questions with ease and helped guide us through our indecisiveness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For drinks, my sister had a non-alcoholic wine and I had a Malbec--both were delicious. Before dessert, we also enjoyed a cappuccino and a single espresso, which were the perfect way to wind down the meal. We ended with the Torta di Ricotta e Pistacchio, and it was just as memorable as everything before it. The texture was perfect--spoon cut right through it effortlessly--and the dulce de leche sauce complemented it beautifully. I genuinely can't get over how good the food was, paired with such friendly and attentive service. Casa Pasta exceeded expectations in every way. I'll definitely be back.

The business is run by Italians Silvia and Franco and on our night, assisted by grandson Alessandro. In the day it is a well stocked wine retail establishment with additional specialty items curated from Italy. But they offer a dining experience for up to 12 at 6:30pm The menu is set by Chef Franco and he will shop the finest local ingredients that day. Some of the shelf stable items are sourced from Italy like flour and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The entire experience feels as if you are visiting a good friend in Italy. We normally eat early and fast. At this experience we savored each course and paired it with wines suggested by Silvia and others in our party who had an interest in wine. Every bite was wonderful. We finished at 9:30pm and felt perfectly satisfied. The next morning my wife and I both noticed no reflux. To me that is the hallmark of high quality food and wine well prepared and enjoyed despite eating later than usual. Treat yourselves for a very special occasion.

Great mixture of select wine and foods from Italy. Sylvia was so nice and informative; offering wine to pair with our orders along with detailed explanations of Italian cooking and courtier. We were the only ones dining for lunch so we had a lovely time. The food parade started with the Zucchini Blossom (filled with mozzarella cheese) - OMG was that delicious. On to the next tapa was the Summer Capri - OMG 2 with an 18yo balsamic. Next up was the Pizza Alta Pisana - hands down THE BEST pizza we've EVER had. Made with the same 72hr dough as the Focaccia and with grated parmigiana cheese instead of mozzarella. Half with capers and drizzled with EVOO. Sylvia suggested Moscato for my sweet tooth queen and me a cab blend that was hearty without the sulfates. For the grand finale, we had homemade Profiteroles with cream and dark chocolate. Grand slam! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FINE ESTABLISHMENT for lunch or dinner. Call for reservations Thank you Franco and Sylvia - we'll see you soon
