What an interesting spot to grab some food, relax with a few drinks and listen to the live music. We visited this location this week because a music group we like was playing there. The four of us ordered all different meals and they were all great. Conch fritters were awesome! Outside seating was open when we arrived, but could see it getting crowded in a small space. The staff was quick to greet us and check on us frequently. I recommend you give them a try and enjoy!

Loved Funky Cuda! This is a little place near the water and Derecktor dry docks. It's all outside seating, about 10-15 tables and a large bar top. They offer live music on some days of the week and it's a very casual, no frills vibe. Service was very friendly and fast. We got a variety of food, such as their signature Cuda Burger and the lobster roll. The Lobster roll was very fair priced at $19. It wasn't huge, it was just the right amount. I got mine cold, it was delicious!! We also did some a fries and Mac and cheese as a side. The Mac and cheese was really good! I loved the vibe here and on a nice summer night, this is a great place to be. Would love to come back!

Since we were in the Fort Pierce vicinity, we decided to try a different restaurant, and The Funky Cuda came up! It is indeed a funky joint, with colorful chairs, outdoor dining and dollar bills on the walls. A stage for game nights and performances. The waitress was very friendly and sweet. While there's quite a few raves about the food; let's just say the atmosphere makes the difference. We had the Wings at $1 each. It was fried crispy and "burn your mouth hot". The Wings needed some sauce and flavorings. The Pimento Burger was cheesy to the bite. The Tuna Poke Bowl was substantial with the rice, protein and vegetables. The sauce tasted like Teriyaki. It was an interesting experience.

The event wasnt what I expected, but I liked it anyway. We had the seafood boil and the conch fritters, both were good, as per Jen their margarita was good too.

Burgers are money. Peanut butter bacon was perfect. Plain cheeseburger was fantastic to. Fish is all fresh. Decent beer selection. Outdoor vibe is beachy and biker mixed with bingo. Close to the water with a hint of saltwater in the air. Staff is amazing, super helpful and laid back. Definitely coming back.

First time at The Funky Cuda, and I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. This place feels like someone took a beach shack, a road trip, and a dive bar, shook it all up, and dropped it in Fort Pierce. License plates on the walls, rainbow bar stools, good music, cold beer -- the vibe just works. Now to the important part: the food. I went straight for the Pimento Burger, and it did not disappoint. The patty came out juicy, the bun stamped with their logo like a seal of approval, and that pimento cheese? Absolute lava flow of creamy, tangy goodness. Messy in the best way. I had to fight the urge to just scoop it up with fries (which, by the way, were thick, golden, and crispy enough to pull double duty as cheese shovels). The beer was ice cold and exactly what you want to cut through a cheesy burger; simple, no frills, just right. Bottom line: Funky Cuda is laid-back, fun, and serves food that doesn't just look good but hits. I'll be back, probably to see if the rest of the burger lineup can top that pimento beast.

Cool atmosphere with an updated design since we were there last. Their Smash Burger for $6.99 was great and a really good value. The prices for food and drink are average and service was good. Enjoyed talking with the bartender Oz as he really took pride in the operation. We will definitely be going back.

Had a great visit at Funky Cuda and our bartender Bethany was tremendous. Offer a menu loaded with great food options and told us about the many nightly options in entertainment as well as plenty of souvenir options displayed outside. This is a cozy corner spot downtown and the music playing in the outdoor bar area was great. Thank you Bethany for a great visit!! I've included a couple of pics where you can see the great food options and visit Bethany to hear about those nightly entertainment options.

This is a fun new addition to the Fort Pierce dining scene! A very casual place with good food and good prices! Happy hour all day on Monday. Music every day. Good service and sitting outside in the Florida sun! $1 wings today. Smash burger was excellent and crab cakes full of crab! Fun spot!

This place is a great find! The bartender, Oz, is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food is excellent! They often have live music. I highly recommend the lobster roll (I chose to have it warm), the grilled cheese, and the steak night is amazing! They also have a good selection of beers.

This place is all outdoor sitting. Has live music. The restrooms were clean and had air conditioning. The food was above my expectations. We ordered The Crab cake, which in my opinion was a bit pricey...$16 for one, fried mozzarella medallions, the outside was nice and crunchy but the inside cheese lacked flavor, and the fried broccoli and cheese bites, these were delicious. They had a nice crunchy outside and the filling was full of flavor and steamy. Our main meal included, portabella bowl, A.B. T. Grilled cheese, Cuda Burger with fries, Lobster Roll with a side order of beans and rice. Everyone enjoyed their meal and said it was all fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Unfortunately, we were enjoying it all, we didn't capture any pictures. To top it off, the staff was knowledgeable of the menu, kind, and friendly. I would definitely keep this place in mind for our future visits.

Remember the name, if you like good blues they are great. Anyway, my friend came down from Melbourne, picked me up in Vero Beach and we headed south. What a lovely spot. Cozy newly remodeled older house with a large covered front porch. Perfect weather for eating outside with a little more space for the 4-piece band. From pictures, it looks as if some of the smaller music groups do play inside. The wine list offered a wide variety of options. We chose a Cote du Rhone that was quite pleasing. I always appreciate when a restaurant serves wine in a quality glass. Little things can make a difference. Tells me they are serious about their wine. The food menu was not extensive but had something for anyone. I think the menu changes regularly which is also a nice touch. All the items ordered by nearby tables looked like something I'd enjoy. My saddle back steak au poivre was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. My friend had the Mahi with Crab which was also well prepared. Every one of the staff went above and beyond assuring we enjoyed our experience. It felt so genuine as if they really enjoyed being there too! Looking at their past and future live music schedule, I definitely would go back. A completely delightful evening all round. Suggest making a reservation. We were lucky to get the last table on the porch. The wine tastings are probably great too considering what they offer on the regular menu. Lucky Ft. Pierce - wish Vero had something similar.

It can be pretty frustrating, especially if you're visiting for the first time and end up driving around in circles trying to find it. Once you arrive, though, it's worth the effort. The restaurant is located right on the water next to the boat ramp and has an enormous amount of parking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full bar area. The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

It truly felt like the entire team was working together to create the best possible experience, from quickly clearing empty plates to refilling water and even adding freshly grated parmesan without us having to ask. We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo, and it set the tone for the entire meal. The truffle oil tied the dish together perfectly--rich, balanced, and absolutely delicious. For our mains, we ordered the Pappardelle di Limone with shrimp and the Fettuccine ai Frutti di Mare in pomodoro sauce. Both were phenomenal. The lemon cream sauce on the pappardelle was to die for--bright, smooth, and incredibly flavorful--while the seafood fettuccine was just as impressive. Worth growing a beard for…read more Bearded Brothers Taphouse & Eatery has officially earned a spot on our "we'll definitely be back" list. Our group of four started with what they do best: craft beer. With around 20 beers on tap, there was no shortage of choices, and they even offer complimentary tastes if you're on the fence. The Summer Shandy was crisp and refreshing, while the Toasted Lager was smooth, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. We sampled more than a few (ahem)... purely in the interest of scientific research, of course. Fortunately, there are still plenty left to try, so another visit is clearly required. The food was every bit as impressive. The Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze and shaved Parmesan were outstanding. Even people who normally pass on Brussels sprouts would have a hard time leaving these alone. Personally, I like them a little crispier, but these were great. The Black & Bleu double smashburger was absolutely dynamite. Two perfectly seared patties, plenty of blue cheese, crispy bacon, and cooked exactly the way a great smashburger should be. My own bearded brother ordered the shrimp po' boy, and it was packed with large, perfectly cooked shrimp. We grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just a stone's throw from New Orleans, where shrimp po' boys are practically a religion. This one passes the test. The bread was right, the shrimp were plentiful, and every bite reminded us of home. The flounder fish and chips deserves its own mention. The fish was flaky and moist, and the breading actually stayed attached to the fish instead of sliding off with the first bite, which anyone who appreciates good fried seafood knows is the mark of a properly prepared fillet. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Great beer selection. Excellent food. Friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. If you're anywhere near Fort Pierce and enjoy quality craft beer paired with food that easily exceeds typical pub fare, Bearded Brothers should be on your list. We'll be back... partly to work our way through the remaining taps, and partly because we're still thinking about that shrimp po' boy. Highly recommended.
