Loved Funky Cuda! This is a little place near the water and Derecktor dry docks. It's all outside seating, about 10-15 tables and a large bar top. They offer live music on some days of the week and it's a very casual, no frills vibe. Service was very friendly and fast. We got a variety of food, such as their signature Cuda Burger and the lobster roll. The Lobster roll was very fair priced at $19. It wasn't huge, it was just the right amount. I got mine cold, it was delicious!! We also did some a fries and Mac and cheese as a side. The Mac and cheese was really good! I loved the vibe here and on a nice summer night, this is a great place to be. Would love to come back!

They had this writing on a wall in which I think we all need to take heed in

I was in town visiting some friends and this place was recommended. What a cute place!!! Service was great and the food is YUMMYYYYYY!! Must get the Mozzarella stick Appetizer, hand made and you can tell I then had the Crab Cake Stuffed Portabella Appetizer as my entree, so scrumptious!!!!

The event wasnt what I expected, but I liked it anyway. We had the seafood boil and the conch fritters, both were good, as per Jen their margarita was good too.

Since we were in the Fort Pierce vicinity, we decided to try a different restaurant, and The Funky Cuda came up! It is indeed a funky joint, with colorful chairs, outdoor dining and dollar bills on the walls. A stage for game nights and performances. The waitress was very friendly and sweet. While there's quite a few raves about the food; let's just say the atmosphere makes the difference. We had the Wings at $1 each. It was fried crispy and "burn your mouth hot". The Wings needed some sauce and flavorings. The Pimento Burger was cheesy to the bite. The Tuna Poke Bowl was substantial with the rice, protein and vegetables. The sauce tasted like Teriyaki. It was an interesting experience.

Burgers are money. Peanut butter bacon was perfect. Plain cheeseburger was fantastic to. Fish is all fresh. Decent beer selection. Outdoor vibe is beachy and biker mixed with bingo. Close to the water with a hint of saltwater in the air. Staff is amazing, super helpful and laid back. Definitely coming back.

First time at The Funky Cuda, and I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. This place feels like someone took a beach shack, a road trip, and a dive bar, shook it all up, and dropped it in Fort Pierce. License plates on the walls, rainbow bar stools, good music, cold beer -- the vibe just works. Now to the important part: the food. I went straight for the Pimento Burger, and it did not disappoint. The patty came out juicy, the bun stamped with their logo like a seal of approval, and that pimento cheese? Absolute lava flow of creamy, tangy goodness. Messy in the best way. I had to fight the urge to just scoop it up with fries (which, by the way, were thick, golden, and crispy enough to pull double duty as cheese shovels). The beer was ice cold and exactly what you want to cut through a cheesy burger; simple, no frills, just right. Bottom line: Funky Cuda is laid-back, fun, and serves food that doesn't just look good but hits. I'll be back, probably to see if the rest of the burger lineup can top that pimento beast.

Cool atmosphere with an updated design since we were there last. Their Smash Burger for $6.99 was great and a really good value. The prices for food and drink are average and service was good. Enjoyed talking with the bartender Oz as he really took pride in the operation. We will definitely be going back.

Had a great visit at Funky Cuda and our bartender Bethany was tremendous. Offer a menu loaded with great food options and told us about the many nightly options in entertainment as well as plenty of souvenir options displayed outside. This is a cozy corner spot downtown and the music playing in the outdoor bar area was great. Thank you Bethany for a great visit!! I've included a couple of pics where you can see the great food options and visit Bethany to hear about those nightly entertainment options.

This place is a great find! The bartender, Oz, is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food is excellent! They often have live music. I highly recommend the lobster roll (I chose to have it warm), the grilled cheese, and the steak night is amazing! They also have a good selection of beers.

This is a fun new addition to the Fort Pierce dining scene! A very casual place with good food and good prices! Happy hour all day on Monday. Music every day. Good service and sitting outside in the Florida sun! $1 wings today. Smash burger was excellent and crab cakes full of crab! Fun spot!

This place is all outdoor sitting. Has live music. The restrooms were clean and had air conditioning. The food was above my expectations. We ordered The Crab cake, which in my opinion was a bit pricey...$16 for one, fried mozzarella medallions, the outside was nice and crunchy but the inside cheese lacked flavor, and the fried broccoli and cheese bites, these were delicious. They had a nice crunchy outside and the filling was full of flavor and steamy. Our main meal included, portabella bowl, A.B. T. Grilled cheese, Cuda Burger with fries, Lobster Roll with a side order of beans and rice. Everyone enjoyed their meal and said it was all fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Unfortunately, we were enjoying it all, we didn't capture any pictures. To top it off, the staff was knowledgeable of the menu, kind, and friendly. I would definitely keep this place in mind for our future visits.

Great service and the smash burgers were delicious! The ambiance was great and loved that the live music wasn't blaring but at a comfortable level. Highly recommend!!

    Live music Brad Brock!

It's pretty cool that they don't have a fee to come in, which is unusual, but I appreciate it. Since we enjoy breweries as well as trivia, we decided to check out Hop Life brewery, and we're not disappointed. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed two flights of beer which included at least six different selections. We enjoyed almost all of them. A nice variety of flavors, colors and styles. I then switched to a full pint of the one I liked the best which happened to be the Calypso Bay. This beer is a fairly hoppy imperial beer with noticeable citrus notes . It has high ABV as well. I found it to be excellent. The menu seemed to include many diverse choices. From what I observed most of the food looked really good. Since we were really not that hungry, we decided to go with a margarita flatbread. A really good choice I definitely would recommend it. As for the trivia, it was well run, and competitive. We enjoyed it immensely. As luck would have it, we finished in first place! The only downside to this was that we were awarded a $50 gift card and advised we could not use it that day. We explained that we were in town temporarily and did not live in Florida. After some discussion with the bartender who consulted with her manager. They allowed us to use $25 of the $50. I would've preferred to be able to use the entire gift card that day since we are not sure when we would be returning. We were told that the card did not expire. It would've been nice if they made that exception for us. The overall experience, quality of the beer, food selection, and the trivia were excellent. We will not hold the incident regarding the gift card against them and will definitely be back the next time we are in Port St. Lucie.

There is a green hop light mobile on the way to the restrooms. And check out the men's and women's doors, quite unique. And love the tap handles. The BEER: Nut House Coffee milk porter 5.5% ABV... glad I tried this first, it was slightly sweet with a creamy mouth feel and quite good Zero VIZ Florida IPA 6% ABV... a little dank and fruity slightly hazy and really good, I got citrus and maybe orange rind Ankona blonde ale 5.6% ABV... wow, imagine pineapple bread, but the liquid kind. Sounds weird, but this one is hitting on all cylinders Calypso Bay DIPA 10% ABV... super piney, really high IBUs, I tasted the Hop Bay west coast IPA 7% ABV and could only taste a slight difference, between the 2, not really my flavor profile, but good Paranoia Belgian Tripel 10% ABV... not too boozy for a Tripel, but with all those clove notes with a hint of pear...LUV this ONE!!! As it was a Friday night, they had some live music which caught my attention, so I popped in to have a look. As the name implies, they serve Wine and Craft beers, I'm not much of a beer guy, so most of my review will be about the wine side of things. I grabbed a seat at the smallish bar and ha look at the offerings - the wine selection was definitely not the usual suspects (a pet peeve) and after a few minutes I was sort of not sure of what I wanted. The young lady working the bar stepped in and asked me what I like- I explained my usual taste profile - medto heavy body and on the spicier side of things and she recommended a Pinot Noir, which would I not have normally thought of - she merely said "you have to try this". She was right on the money with that recommendation. The wine was fabulous and the music was going on so I sat back and had a look around: cozy place with a good number of tables scattered around - I would think this is more of a date place or a night out with good friends. Definitely not a beer and shot vibe here. The beer side of the house is definitely a decent choice as well - if you like beer. They have 20-some beers available on tap or canned. Like the wine, they can walk you into a perfect choice if you can describe what you like. A couple came up to where I was sitting and ordered a charcuterie board, so I had a look at the small sampling of nosh items. I was considering the same charcuterie board but it turned out to be larger than expected when they finished making it for the folks that ordered it so I went for a smaller bite. The food offerings are all centered on meats / cheeses / pretzels and some desserts. They do not have full on entrees- so plan accordingly. All in all, a great spot- I have been living here for 3.5 years and yet, this place had escaped my attention. Not anymore! Definitely will put it into the rotation. Parking lot available
