Beef nachos
Ralph E.

Stopped here because we read how iconic it is to the area. I ordered the beef nachos, which came with processed cheese, ground beef, chopped iceberg lettuce, and diced tomatoes on top. The portion was big, but I felt it could be improved with freshness such as real cheese. It was pretty basic and something you would get from a make your own nacho stand. The sour cream and jalapenos were extra charge and it came out as a single packet of sour cream and pickled jalapenos in a container. I hadn't had nachos in a while, so I gave them a try--they were filling and nothing memorable. We didnt have any adult beverages so we can't comment on them. My wife ordered the chicken tenders tossed in hot sauce, but they were drowned in it, and she couldn't finish the last two. She also ordered a Caesar salad, but what came out was really a house salad--onions, tomatoes, and no croutons. Definitely not a Caesar. The food overall was just okay, but the service was amazing. The servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. This definitely looked and felt like a drinking and fun spot to hang out after the day at the beach. The service was the only reason this was a 3 instead of lower. Definitely a drinking spot and fun place to people watch. Still a great spot to checkout because of the friendliness and service. They did have an extensive menu as well. I probably didn't get their best table fare. Another thing I noted in this area -- credit card fees are added to the bill. While the charge is disclosed, I personally feel businesses should absorb this cost rather than pass it on to customers. Credit card companies have charged merchants these fees since credit cards were first introduced, and in most industries outside of food service, merchants don't pass them along to the customer. We're from Melbourne, Fl area and maybe one spot that I used to eat did this so I stopped going there. To me, there are lots of places to choose from and customer experience will be the differentiator.

We have come to this location several times while in the area and always have good experience with the food and service. I love the beachy and casual vibes it has and the food is seasoned and delicious. On our last visit we had a variety of shrimp , mussels and a mahi sandwich. Everything as usual was really good and I would recommend to try.

They fallow this sign for sure!

Ok so let's start with one word MARGARITA!!! Chris was our server and he makes the best Margaritas EVER!!! He made us a jalapeño margarita that I just couldn't get enough of!!! Now when it came to service he was top notch!!! We sat outside and dined under the trees in their outdoor dining area which was sooo cool and has so many things to do!!! Did I tell you my grouper sandwich was delicious!!! So if you are looking for a cool fun delicious meal that by the way is pet friendly Archie's is the place to go!!! Make sure you ask for Chris because he is the best!!!

Beautiful south Florida day :)

Colorful literally and figuratively here at Archie's Seabreeze, a treasure coast staple! Service was quick at the bar, prices were what you would expect these days, food came out hot and timely, drinks were on point :) Bartender must have been here a while, seeming to know his way around, plus he was kind and personable :D Write on a dollar and put it up or just sharpie right on the wood for a memento to visit again some day. 3 piece band created a chill vibe while I found myself smiling for being happy in this moment :D Good tip got us a ring of the bell to which I will always aspire. I would definitely come back... Thanks for the memories Archie's! You can trust me, I was in the business ;D

This is my second time here and the first time around I was not impressed . So, I don't know why I let My husband convince me to come back here. We sat at a super dirty table with bird or frog poop. Our waitress brought us water, and didn't bother to even hint at cleaning the table. So, naturally we asked could you wipe off the table and she was like, maybe move to another table so You're more comfortable. Okay?? We ordered a bowl with rice beans and chicken for my son, and my husband had the chicken wings. The rice and beans tasted like it was straight out of a box and can. No seasoning whatsoever. The chicken was grilled to the point my son thought it has bones in it. Meaning one side was super "crispy ". My husband's chicken wings were super soggy , and not crispy at all like you expect your wings to be. The live entertainment is the ONLY REASON I see people coming here. Btw, a nice thing is they put spray on the tables for the noseeums.

Stopped by Archie's after a day out on the boat. Very casual beach bar vibes and mostly shaded around the restaurant with lots of fans to keep you cool. Our service was great as well! I got the coconut shrimp appetizer with a side of onions rings. So delicious! The sauce for the onion rings was really good. Also, they had a scavenger hunt on the kids menu for the kids to stay busy and they each got to pick a little prize.

This time, we came to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner. Our server was as sweet as could be, and the entertainer, Curtis, absolutely made the night. He was so interactive with us, took song requests, and we were joking throughout the night. We requested a couple of songs, and he did an amazing job. The bartender also made us some fun shots that added to the celebration. Unfortunately, my food experience wasn't nearly as enjoyable. I had spent the day at a friend's event where there was plenty of food, including Vicky's (which is always delicious). By the time I met everyone for dinner about an hour and a half later--after stopping at Boston's for a drink--I really wasn't very hungry. I specifically asked for a small salad with meatballs because I just wanted something light. Instead, a large salad was brought to the table. I immediately mentioned it to our server, explaining that I had ordered the small salad because I wouldn't be able to finish a large one. She said she would adjust it. About 15 minutes later, the meatballs arrived, and they were almost impossible to eat. They were so tough that I couldn't even cut them with my knife. At one point, I was literally pounding on one with my fork against the plate because it was hard as a rock. The waitress came over horrified of this experience and said she would remove it off the bill. I'm not here trying to get a free meal. I just want a good meal and something I actually ordered. The waitress did remove the meatballs from my bill, which I appreciated. However, I was still charged for the large salad even though I had ordered a small one and pointed out the mistake as soon as it arrived. I barely made a dent in it and ended up taking most of it home. Aside from the disappointing food and billing issue, we still managed to have a great evening thanks to Curtis. His energy, talent, and interaction completely changed the atmosphere and honestly saved the experience. If it hadn't been for him, my rating would have been much lower.

After a nice ride down A1A, I arrived in Fort Pierce shortly after 11am and decided to get a bite…read moreto eat. I found this place via Yelp and here's my honest opinion. I really like the location. It's located on the water, technically on the inlet, next to Jetty Park. The views of the water is gorgeous - it's a deep aqua color, and I always enjoy watching boats navigate through inlets. The place has a tropical Tiki Hut vibe with palm trees and sand surrounding umbrella covered tables. There's also seating at the bar under the "Tike Hut". Service is at the bar. Instructions and a QR code (which downloads their menu) are provided on a board in front of the bar. So after a quick look at the menu I stepped up to the bar where I was greeted by a friendly employee. I ordered their Smoked Fish Dip ($14.00) and a Shiner Bock ($4.25). She brought me my bottle of Shiner Bock (no drafts at this place) along with a small electronic buzzer device that she told me to take back with me to my table, and when my order was ready it would notify me. It was practically no time after I sat down and my electronic device notified me that my order was ready. Again, service is at the bar - this time pickup was at the far end of the bar. You give the employee the electronic buzzer and the employee gives you your order. I found the Smoked Fish Dip very good. It consisted of a blend of wild caught Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Whitefish, and Whiting. It was served with freshly fried corn tortilla chips, red onions, tomatoes, and ¡alapeños. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of fried corn tortillas with any kind of smoked fish dip, and would have much preferred plain saltines instead. But no biggie. Note, there's a sign out front notifying everyone that: * 21+ for admission * No dogs * No kids * No babies (No kidding) I'm not sure of the reasoning behind these rules, but it's important to know before arriving with the family and your favorite 4 legged fur baby. The location, the food, and the friendly atmosphere gets 4 stars from me.

Upon arrival, we were questioned about the dogs in a way that felt inappropriate. I was asked whether they were service animals, and when I confirmed that one was, I was further questioned about my medical condition, which made me extremely uncomfortable. We were eventually allowed in. I was unaware of the dog policy and was not informed that dogs were not allowed, these people don't even allow children I later saw (not family friendly). I rejoined my parents and we sat at a table off to the side, away from other guests, as we are always mindful that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. I ordered drinks and food at the bar, then stepped away briefly to use the restroom. The bartender (Olivia) was dismissive and made me wait a long time to order, not very inviting. When I returned, a manager approached our table in an aggressive and confrontational manner and insisted that we leave, claiming the dogs were barking. This was not accurate, neither of the dogs barked. We were shocked by the way the situation was handled, especially because there was no attempt to speak to us calmly or respectfully. It was a bit savage, something we aren't used to. When I asked what we should do since we had already ordered, I was rudely told the food would be packed up and brought outside. I went to the bar to cancel the order instead and asked for the manager's name, but the bartender refused to provide it. The manager then came to the bar and confronted me in a rude and dismissive tone. When I tried to calmly address the issue, he became even more confrontational and started to laugh, extremely unprofessional and disrespectful - trying to instigate the situation even more. I told him I would not lower myself to his level of communication and that the situation lacked basic customer service. After that, his behavior became even more aggressive. As we prepared to leave, the manager stood by the entrance watching us in a way to try to intimidate us, then followed closely behind us as we exited. Again, I was with my elderly parents, no respect and again, savage low-class behavior. The situation could have been handled with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Instead, we were made to feel embarrassed, unwelcome, and intimidated. I did research on this restaurant and found that a blind veteran and his service dog were attacked and there was a big lawsuit just 2 years prior. The door guy attacked and injured one of our veterans, blind, over a service dog policy is disturbing. I hope that whoever reads this, decides not to come to this establishment, there are several reviews of how rude the workers are and it's unacceptable that the owner allows ratchid behavior. Read all the negative comments, this place is terrible!!!

Literally instead of a hello We had already been told this by the hostess as she seated us and considering they've got it on the menu as well as at the table in big letters, I'm assuming this is a problem for most people. It is for me. I will usually tip even at lunch 25% for good service but when the management is forcing me to pay 18%, whether the service is good or not, then that's what I'm going to pay. Management is not doing their wait staff any favors. I took a star off for that. As far as the food, I was pleasantly surprised. I had fried green tomatoes and the fish and chips. My niece had a smash burger. She says hers was excellent. The fried green tomatoes were literally the best I've ever had. Which is saying a lot because I love this appetizer and will usually order it in any southern restaurant. The fish and chips were also good but not great. The fish was tender, and the breading was crispy and not too soggy, but it was not perfectly crispy. The french fries were lacking in flavor and chewy. But basically the food was good and the service was satisfactory but not great. But I will be back to try other items on the menu -/ if you're setting the bar for an 18% tip then that saves the customers a lot of money when they would usually do 25 to 30%. When I see this in a restaurant, it tells me that the management does not want to dip in their profits to give their employees health insurance, but depends on the customer to do it for them.
