Large restaurant with several different sections, including a separate lounge area and I think more areas, but we dined in the large section. We tried Conchy Joe's as one of the first restaurants since we're new to the area. Overall, it was a good experience. Parking can be a little challenging if you go later in the afternoon. The ambiance was nice, and our waiter was amazing. I tried the raw oysters, but they weren't really a "wow" dish for me. For my main meal, I ordered the blackened red snapper with a baked potato. The flavor was good, but it was a little too salty. The portion was decent, although I wish there were more side options to choose from. My husband ordered the seafood mac and cheese, which was really good. Overall, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the visit. The presentation of the food is not the best for sure. read more

I just had to come back after my last experience here, and it was almost as wonderful as I remember it. The service was pretty good, as our waitress was very busy and zipping around the whole time we were there. Drinks were slow, but food was very quick. The mussels were just as good as I remember. The clams were a bit over-steamed and definitely not as fresh as the mussels but still OK. The oysters Rockefeller on the other hand were not a good choice, and unfortunately we could not recommend them. As always, the view was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Stopped in here after being at a Highwaymen exhibition. Great cruise down S Indian Drive by the river when we rolled by. Good crowd on a Saturday, a band was playing, and we were instantly seated by the window. Decor is cool, service quick and efficient. We ordered conch fritters as a starter that were ok. She ordered the seafood chowder that included shrimp clams and mussels and was creamy and yummy. I had a fried shrimp poboy w fries. It was fine, we didn't order dessert. Conchy Joe's it is an expansive bar and restaurant facility on the water in Jensen Beach. There are four bars in the facility with the one that overlooks the ICW being the largest. It's actually gigantic and still not big enough for the amount of people that want to sit at it! It's in a very large enclosed deck that has a large stage at one end for live music, which I will come back to later in the review. You can walk out on the dock and the kids can feed the massive schools of catfish for fun. There are three other smaller bars all have their different vibe. Drink prices are reasonable for a touristy type restaurant. The food is excellent. I have no complaints. Staff is kind and attentive, service was quick. They also have decent parking. My only complaint is what seems to be a new trend in several restaurants with live music all across the state. And that is what I like to call fake live music. Venues are hiring a person who sings and maybe has a guitar player to play along with karaoke. I can only imagine that places are doing this because it's cheaper to pay than a full band. As a musician as a former performer, I can't tell you how truly distressing this is. No disrespect to the people who are singing and maybe the person playing guitar to recorded background music, but it's just an insult to anyone who truly appreciates live music. And I'm sorry, but it's worth taking two stars away because of this, for an otherwise excellent restaurant and bar. Do better. Be better. Please. read more

We continued our honeymoon adventures to Port St. lucie and were recommended this place by one of the volunteers at the Botanical Gardens. We are moving to the area in the near future and searching for interesting spots with live music, this popped out on Yelp. It's a great spot with several dining areas and I counted three bars. We opted for the bar in the newly constructed area and enjoyed the music, food and cold beer. Great happy hour drink and food menu with awesome service. Had some great conversations with others at the bar. Friendly spot. We tried the fish tacos, beef sliders and the spinach & artichoke dip. All were perfect and very flavorful. Plenty of parking across the street and they offer valet parking as well. Of course I had to grab a branded tee shirt from the main entrance area. Plenty of options/colors. Can't say what has already been said.. small portions for fish the sandwich was all bread.. I had smothered chicken my regular since I do t eat seafood. Dried out chicken cold lumpy mashed potatoes looked like it was sitting out for a long time. I don't want to send it back and eat alone! My brother in law had something possibly a soup he liked usually get fritters but they are normally raw inside so didn't get them but got gator bites hubby wasn't impressed to much breading. Service sucked unfortunately the server was run ragged with so many people not enough help. By the time she got back nit asking about desert just the check I said it's his bd he gets key lime, it came we had no silverware.. that's another story I forgot to bring my own. For the prices they charge silverware is absolute garbage they should be ashamed to use it. It's a tourist trap right now too many people not enough help to actually have a nice dinner. What this place has going for it is view period! For me it's in the middle of where all my family lives so we go to see each other since we do all live on the water.. but for tourists nice view you share with too many people.. best thing view and the lady manager.. little hostess was a snot but I guess they just pack them in don't care if you return! First, this place is pretty cool with a nice on the water atmosphere with a huge outdoor/indoor seating area. We really enjoyed being able to sit at a table by the water for a great view and they bring our complimentary cornbread which is DELICIOUS. The hardest thing to swallow about this place is the menu prices - be prepared to spend some money because this place is not cheap! We only ordered 2 meals. My friend got mahi with plantains as her side and an order of five oysters and I got an order of coconut shrimp with fries. We each had one drink. This cost us over $115 plus tip!!!!!!! Literally insane! The coconut shrimp ($28) were small (but comes with 8) and honestly - Outback Steakhouse has better coconut shrimp for less than half the price. Our server was nice but the food took foreverrrr to come out. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes to be greeted. We ordered right away but it took nearly 50 minutes to get our food. The waitress came by about 3 times after ordering and kept saying the food should be right out. I think this place is cool and maybe some other food items may be a better value (but still expensive). We probably wouldn't go back for dinner if given the chance but maybe worth hanging out at the bar and having a few drinks (we missed happy hour-ended at 6pm). read more

It took 10 minutes to get water. 20 minutes to get menus. It was in no way a busy night. Our server was pretty much no where even once we got one. She never refilled our drinks. Didn't check on us once the food was dropped and we were missing items. Gave a weird combination of to go boxes. We still had to hunt down the bill. It's such a beautiful place. We checked in on a Sunday without a reservation at 5:20 and were told 30-40 min. 10 min later I got a text our table was ready for our party of 5. We got a good big round table in the back of the main room and away from the loud band playing reggae. Our server was terrific and patient as our whole party trickled around 6. She took our drink orders and stayed on top our refills too. Delicious stone crab claws, yellow snapper crusted with sweet potato and oysters too! Doesn't help making reservations at this loud establishment. I made reservations early in the day (actually drove there and made reservations for this cute table for two with a nice scenic view). The girl at the register in the front promised me we'd have the table. On my way there later that day I received a text from them requesting that I indicate when I was on my way which I did and I even called them to let them know. I get there, give them my name and the help there said she would check to see if our table was ready. She comes back and saids that it's not cleared yet and she would text me when it was ready. So I said I'll just wait here to which she replied, "Well, the people sitting there just received their dinner" Are you kidding me? We had reservations and she just seated other people there. She saw that I was disappointed and said she had another nice seat just as good. Ha ha. We followed her to where this loud reggae band was performing where you couldn't talk to each other without screaming and the view was blocked by large plastic blinds pulled down. Really bad joke. My husband and I turned around and walked out and said forget it What was the point of me going there, making reservations, only to find out they gave the table to someone else. This place has gone downhill in the last few years but I was hoping to have a nice scenic view with mediocre food. Full transparency: I was a regular fan of Conchy's all the way back to the early '80s. Then it was small-- original-- and a destination for locals and a thin line of tourists. If Yelp was around it would've had a solid 5 stars. Many years passed and I got disappointed with the quality of the food. Seems the authenticity gave way to becoming a tourist draw. Maybe that's not quite fair and we gave up on each other. Fast forward to a recent visit to explore the new addition at Conchy Joe's. Things have turned around. Some of the original favorites are still around; the conch chowder was hearty and flavorful. Add the shot of sherry for another flavor layer. I tried the raw bar medley and, for the fair price, you get good portions. My wife had the blackened mahi with a side salad. Again, a sizable portion, cooked perfectly and very enjoyable. There was thought and ingredients given to the salad. The menu is varied with choices from the land and sea. But gone are the smoky wild Bahamian boars ribs and the warm Tollhouse cookie with ice cream for dessert. Sigh. With the added tables and expansive views and boardwalks, Conchy's also added more parking. This was a very enjoyable evening with delicious food served by friendly staff. My beer was canned and no glass arrived. Had to ask for one. Server said the bar was overloaded. I had the seafood chowder which was very good. My wife had a dinner salad which was unremarkable/ poor. Service was very slow. Our server was clearly overloaded. Never had the customary visit from a manager asking how everything was. Probably for the best. The loud atmosphere combined with the slow service combined for a bad experience. Not recommended and we are not going back. read more

Ate here with my husband for a work function of his. He is allergic unfortunately to bivalves like conch so he had the mahi mahi and French fries which he has no problems with. It was tasty but unfortuntately 3 hours after eating his lips started to visibly swell up and the restaurant was called. They fry EVERYTHING in the same oil. BEWARE if you have allergies to some items like clams but not to things like French fries. It's all cooked together. We can't fault the food and they didn't break any safety laws but it's kind of a crappy thing to do to fry non seafood items in the same oil as the seafood items. read more

However, that all makes it amusing, cozy, and comfortable. But I do see the place is presently under construction with a whole new addition being added. I hope they can keep the great atmosphere they presently have.
