If you like fried oysters, this is the place for you. If you like Whole Belly Clams, this is the place for you. II you like the best oyster stew or crab bisque soup you've ever had, this is the place for you! This was our first try at Crabbys Oyster Bar and it was a hell of a start! Our service was excellent. The atmosphere was your typical oyster bar with high tops, bar service and booths. Great start. Our next visit, we'll try the fish offerings and report back.

Crabby's in Jensen Beach never disappoints. Tonight on their oyster appetizer menu they had Andouille Rockeller oysters. These were amazing! It was an experiment from their chef. He hit the mark. I'm hoping they will keep these as a regular menu item, but I couldn't get a confirmation on that. Can't say enough good about this location. Jeff and his crew are amazing.

Crabby's Oyster Bar is a casual fresh catch seafood restaurant right near the water, but not on it. It's located in a Publix plaza along with many other restaurants and shops, so there's plenty of parking. Though it's pretty casual, the prices definitely are not; be prepared to spend especially if you want to get their king crab which is market price. The service was a bit slow because they had hardly any wait staff working, which doesn't make sense especially on Memorial Day. Other than that it was decent and they were friendly. Now for the food. It's average at best and WAY over priced for the quality/flavor. We ordered the lion fish fritters which were a special today. They were tender and tasted good though a bit bland. I would say this was one thing I did like. We also ordered the fish dip and the crabcake appetizer. The fish dip was too fishy tasting (like it had gone bad or wasn't great quality; everyone knows that if a fish tastes or smells too unpleasantly fishy, it's most likely bad or cheap), so we didn't have much of it. It was $13 and I wouldn't have paid more than $6 for that if I had the choice due to the quality and taste; that's if I had to...I would never get it again, and my mom and sister agreed. The crab cake appetizer was one crab cake, but it tasted like a frozen crab cake from the grocery store; too much breading/extras and not enough actual crab. The taste was a bit off putting for me, and for $20 I'd expect more chunks of crab and less filler. Now onto the entrees: I ordered the fresh catch of the day which was yellowtail, and I got it pan seared with lemon cream sauce. I got extra sauce on the side and for sides I got the island cilantro rice and coleslaw. The yellowtail was fresh and tender but without the lemon sauce didn't have much flavor. The cilantro rice was very mildly flavored and bland. The coleslaw was ok, but definitely not the best. This meal was market price so it was $35; again, a little pricey for the casual nature of the restaurant and the flavor for sure wasn't worth it, but you got a decent amount of fish for the price ( I think 2 filets). Just wish it had more flavor, especially with a fish which doesn't have much flavor on its own. I ordered 1/2 lb. of king crab because you could add any crab to your entree and since it was called Crabby's I figured I had to try their signature food item. I've had king crab in a lot of different places over the years including Joe's stone crab. I know it's expensive due to the quality and how hard they are to catch. Unfortunately, Crabby's missed the mark for me. Not only was there only one very small crab leg that when picked up definitely was not 1/2 lb., suggesting they cheat their customers with the amount of crab they are supposed to get; but this one measly piece was $45....a ridiculous price even for King crab due to the amount. They don't tell you how many you are getting before you order nor do they weigh it in front of you. Again, it definitely wasn't 1/2 lb. I feel like I wasted my money. My mom and sister split a blackened mahi mahi sandwich which they said was fresh and decent. I didn't try it so I can't say for sure myself. TLDR: A casual seafood restaurant which was overpriced and the food was bland, though most of it was fresh. I definitely don't recommend Crabby's Oyster Bar and won't be coming back unless they change their flavors to match their prices or vice versa.

Could not be more happy to find this place! We are native new englanders and fussy about things like shellfish. We had snow crab, the lobster special, PEI oysters, and Ipswich steamers. All were perfectly fresh and perfectly cooked. Except of course the oysters which were raw but incredibly meaty and sweet. Yum! We had a fabulous server and food came out promptly. And the hush puppies were small but super delish. Ambiance is basically a crab boil type bar but with all that butter it's expected highly recommend!

Definitely give these a try. They are wonderful. The sauce with it is just amazing as well. It goes good with an espresso martini.

Very busy little restaurant. Food was really good. Pictured is the grilled Mahi salad. Good portion of fish. We were told they make their own salad dressings, and they did not disappoint. I think it was an avocado balsamic, and it was really good. Standard salad, only 5 croutons on salad, . Other picture is the Crabbys Oscar. Very good. Had the fish, dip for and appetizer. And that wasn't too good, unless you cared for a very smoky, tasting fish dip.. Nothing special about the fish dip at all. The only other thing we noticed is it was extremely loud, I mean almost unbearably loud.. And now there was a football game going on. But we've been to tons of places like this, but for some reason, this one, the noise level was just actually uncomfortable...

You want to hang out and have some very good food, fantastic oysters and good prices on adult beverages this is the place. Everyday between 3 & 6 there are oysters specials as well as discounts on the adult beverages. The ambience has a chill old Florida vibe with servers who are well versed on what is available on the menu and give their opinions on what they feel is very good. If in the Jensen Brach area check out this place I believe you'll enjoy!

This is where I wanted to come for Mother's Day. It was great fun. Talking laughter and LOUD. I found this exhilarating! My husband's had a burger and he was a happy man, my son and I had each a dozen raw oysters. He had fried oysters as his "meal" and he left feet happily full. My other dish was the oyster stew which I ended up taking home because I was stuffed. This place does not disappoint and the staff are very happy helpful people who excel at their jobs.

We went two days in a row during our weekend stay in town!…read moreAmbiance (5/5): Plenty of seating indoors and some outdoor as well. Classic diner set up and ability to onlook where the wait staff prepare the finishing touches to the dishes. Service (5/5): The service for this joint is very much which made my experience. The wait staff women were a delight-- sweet, friendly, and eager to help! They provided updates, refreshed our beverages, sincere when an error was made, and provided recommendations too. Food (5/5): There is so much on the menu to try! Huge portions for an affordable rate. Don't miss out on their freshly baked goods. We loved the cinnamon bun over the coffee cake but both were very good and served warm. The pulled pork benedict special was very tender and had loads of flavor. I enjoyed the corned beef but liked the benedict more. The second day, we enjoyed omelet and brioche bun French toast.

The only issue is the traffic noise, which is considerable. The inside restaurant area is your typical breakfast restaurant with booths and tables. The outside dining area features several tables on the sidewalk with that side view of the ocean and a frontal view of all that previously mentioned traffic. For my dining experience I chose the outside. The Service: My server did a great job taking my order, making sure my drinks were replenished and actually getting my somewhat unusual hot tea with steamed milk and honey correct on the first try! The Food: Besides the traffic, here's where the restaurant falls on its sword. I ordered corned beef hash topped with poached eggs a side of "crispy" home fries and buttered sour dough toast. The Good: The highlight of the meal was the "homemade" corned beef hash. I'm always hesitant to order "homemade" corn beef hash because it's often full of items it really doesn't need. However, this corned beef hash was absolutely excellent and it was clear that it was really "homemade". The sour bread toast was also done properly and was amply buttered instead of what you get at so many places which provide a dash of butter, brushed on by a butter brush. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The Bad: My poached eggs were overdone featuring not a hint of runny yolks and those "crispy" home fries that I made a point of asking for, were about as far away from crisp as you could imagine. In fact they were probably the most mushy home fries I've ever had. The Price: I must say, the price was not bad but, I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get a better breakfast anytime!

My husband ordered a Florida Man double IPA and I ordered the House Pinot Noir! I really enjoyed the medium bodied Pinot; for a House wine it was very good! And the price for happy hour I thought were excellent! Beer was five dollars and my Pinot Noir was only seven and a nice pour! My husband ordered the grilled Caesar salad, which was on happy hour so it was 30% off. And I happen to have a 20% off coupon that was handed to me during a jammin in Jensen. They let us use it on anything that wasn't already discounted for happy hour which we were appreciative of. I ordered the beet salad which did not disappoint beautifully, roasted golden beets, paired with Barada and candied pecans and arugula.! it was a good size salad and I ended up bringing some home! It was delicious! We then split the Mattie burger, which is a double Waygu Patty with two kinds of cheese and an onion, jam and homemade pickles, and a beautifully toasted sesame seed bun! It comes normally with duck fat fries, but we were trying to be more health conscience so they substituted roasted carrots with broccolini and garlic, which were absolutely perfect! Because it was a double patty it was more than enough to share! And they took the 20% off of that as well with my coupon! We both had one more drink! And ended up bringing leftovers home even though everything was so good. We were so full. My only recommendations would possibly be to have a single patty burger for a cheaper price point on the menu. Otherwise, we were very pleased. Looking forward to going back again.!

Between the food, drinks, service, live music, and overall atmosphere, it felt like a full night out, not just a quick dinner. There also seems to be some confusion about whether they're still open, but they absolutely are, and based on our visit, they're definitely worth checking out. It's one of the better spots in Jensen Beach. A special shoutout to Nicole, the manager, and Stephanie, the bartender, who were both welcoming and attentive all evening. He had it for a while, God only knows what data base I'm now part of, but hey, great reviews, let's go. The guard gave my license back as well as a parking permit. Asked about the restaurant, he said drive to the stop sign and turn left. There's a row of shops and a Sauders sign. Did get a tiny bit confusing...none of the storefronts was Sauders. There was a dingy looking alley opening...found them. Walking down this dingy alley (there were three old window a/c units running up high, I mean old, tired, dirty and all three are dripping water into buckets below them on the concrete). We get to a tired residential screen door and that is the entrance. We were greeted right away. Said two for dinner. The hostess asked if we had reservations...we said no. We asked to sit inside. This is not the restaurants fault, but the marina is under construction, there are no docks or boats outside the windows, just rebar and dirt, however the windows and screens were dirty. There are dive bars and old restaurants with charm, Sauders is neither. Inside it just looks very tired and extremely dated You know how Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue showes usually start, with John Tapper and Robert Irving having a lot to say. They would have a lot to say at Sauder's. Carolyn, our server, lived up to the reviews that mention her. She was prompt, knew all the specials and did a good job throughout our meal. We ordered some Calemari. The batter was falling off, so if you tried to pick up a piece, you basically had a piece of squid. The marinara sauce was hot and had a good flavor. We had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. There were plenty of shrimp. Tha pasta was spaghetti, not linguine, but cooked properly. Could have had a little more sauce but tasted OK. The meal came with a salad. Everything was fresh, cold and crisp. Carolyn informed us the thousand island was made at the restaurant and it was OK. Summary...the food was ok, the dining room was tired, oh yeah, the rest rooms were behind doors rusting under their paint in that dingy alley and my wife said the one she went into was not nice. I honestly don't know how you could give this a 4 or 5 rating. If I knew what we were going to experience, I'd never give my driver's license to that guard and we would find another of the many seafood places in town. Sorry Sauder's, you need to make an investment in your business.
