    What a view...

When I walked in I was like "whoa, wait a minute, this is too fancy, i'm not worthy..." sat at probably THE nicest bar that I have ever been to with amazing water front views. Drinks were good, but ordered their blackened fresh catch tacos and I know that these were THE best fish tacos I have ever had. Stuffed with super, fresh, juicy fresh catch, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Super friendly staff at the bar that made sure I was taken care of. Thank you to Jordan, Haley, and Mercedes Benz...will be back hopefully sooner than later...

    So relaxing

Nice place to sit and chill. Ambiance is amazing. Staff is attentive. Drinks are well crafted. Word of caution: even though it says tapas style food, those plates are huge, don't order too many. But food is tasty. So, just relax, enjoy the view, have good conversation.

Fresh, elegant and very zen! Brand new spot in the Fish House building in Port Salerno.. beautiful bar inside facing Manatee pocket. Enjoyed my end of day decompress with a nice cocktail. I highly recommend the "Salerno Sunburn." I did not try the food but it looks good. Tommy the bartender was very nice and makes some great drinks. Hope to be back soon!

We really loved the location and decor of this dockside restaurant and bar. Great bar area surrounded by comfortable couches and coffee tables for seating. The dockside wall is wide open to the water, boats, and breeze. People were enjoying brunch and drinks when we went there on a Sunday afternoon. The menu is on the small side and they only had one gluten and dairy free option for me which was a bummer. I ended up getting the shrimp cocktail which I think was around $18- a bit pricy but I guess you pay for the view. I had a margarita ($15) which was ok but the lady next to me had a paloma which she said was fantastic. I had drink envy. My companions said that their food was decent.

HH is always great, often making selections from both the HH menu and the regular menu... the fantastic Pork Chop, raw bar and Cheese Selections are regularly in play. I don't often do brunch but this may change after my first time here on a Sunday. A chance to try Chef Blake's Fried Chicken (w waffles) is reason alone to come in. Absolutely loved it. Starters of Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Cocktail, OJ and excellent French Press Coffee. The Strawberry French Toast was a big hit with one person, Croissant Benedict with Lump Crabmeat also pleased. I enjoyed my more traditional Croissant Benedict done with Ham. The Home Fries were great as well. Zoe was a fantastic server! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is actually perfect because no matter what your preference is, we'll find something you like! No more worrying over what bottle to split when everyone has a different palette. The food is also incredible, which tracks because with good wine you need good food. Tonight I kept it simple and just had the shishito peppers, bacon, wrapped dates, and the calamari. Everything was delicious, but the bacon wrath dates get a special shout out. We even ordered a second serving because they were that good! I also highly recommend the speakeasy attached to the restaurant called Radcliffe. I went there on a separate night and it was amazing..

This was our first visit, and the restaurant is tucked away in a shopping plaza. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. This is a family-owned restaurant, and even the son, who is currently in college, still works here. He was actually our waiter, and I was incredibly impressed that he memorized all five of our orders, including drinks and special requests. Everything came out perfectly, which is no small feat for a larger group. The owner is absolutely wonderful. Dining here doesn't feel like you're sitting in a restaurant--it feels like you're a guest in someone's home. We ordered a bottle of wine, and she personally came to our table to share the history of the wine and where it originated before opening the bottle for us. It was such a warm and personal touch that made the experience feel special. Three of us ordered the lamb Bolognese, and it was easily a 10/10. The portions were so generous that all three of us took leftovers home. The flavors were rich, delicious, and comforting. I ordered the eggplant appetizer and shared it with one of the girls in exchange for some of her Bolognese. The eggplant was absolutely fantastic, and I would order it again without hesitation. The menu offered so many tempting options that it took us forever to decide what we wanted. Ironically, most of us ended up wanting the same thing, which gave us all a good laugh. On Thursdays, they offer a prime rib special for $20. One of my girlfriends, who follows a high-protein diet, ordered it and absolutely loved it. She said it practically melted in her mouth and happily took the remainder home. When you first walk in, there's a small, quaint bar that seats about six or seven people. The owner was behind the bar crafting cocktails, and she mentioned that Old Fashioneds and spritzes are her specialties. I originally planned to order a rosé, but after watching her make an Old Fashioned, I changed my mind. I'm glad I did--the drink was smooth, balanced, and thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, if you're looking for a place where you'll feel genuinely welcomed and treated like family, this is it. I would absolutely recommend making the drive, even if it's out of your way. I drove 40 minutes to get here, and it was completely worth it.

I enjoyed my shrimp picatta over zucchini spaghetti, was great. There was also veal marsala which was also apparently very good. Definitely recommend this establishment for really good italian.

Beer & Wine I…read morehappened upon Vine & Barely as a result of popping into an adjoining business and having the luck of parking in front of V&B. As it was a Friday night, they had some live music which caught my attention, so I popped in to have a look. As the name implies, they serve Wine and Craft beers, I'm not much of a beer guy, so most of my review will be about the wine side of things. I grabbed a seat at the smallish bar and ha look at the offerings - the wine selection was definitely not the usual suspects (a pet peeve) and after a few minutes I was sort of not sure of what I wanted. The young lady working the bar stepped in and asked me what I like- I explained my usual taste profile - medto heavy body and on the spicier side of things and she recommended a Pinot Noir, which would I not have normally thought of - she merely said "you have to try this". She was right on the money with that recommendation. The wine was fabulous and the music was going on so I sat back and had a look around: cozy place with a good number of tables scattered around - I would think this is more of a date place or a night out with good friends. Definitely not a beer and shot vibe here. The beer side of the house is definitely a decent choice as well - if you like beer. They have 20-some beers available on tap or canned. Like the wine, they can walk you into a perfect choice if you can describe what you like. A couple came up to where I was sitting and ordered a charcuterie board, so I had a look at the small sampling of nosh items. I was considering the same charcuterie board but it turned out to be larger than expected when they finished making it for the folks that ordered it so I went for a smaller bite. The food offerings are all centered on meats / cheeses / pretzels and some desserts. They do not have full on entrees- so plan accordingly. All in all, a great spot- I have been living here for 3.5 years and yet, this place had escaped my attention. Not anymore! Definitely will put it into the rotation. Parking lot available
